I had my surgery Jan 7th - surgery started at 6:36am and I was discharged at 8:40! Within 3 days I was walking on my own! I had almost no pain, bruising or swelling - and needed NO narcotics! His team at Total Joint Specialists was incredible...super friendly and patient focused! My recovery has gone incredibly well..in fact I was out to lunch 4 days after surgery! Anuj Gupta, MD is an incredibly talented surgeon, a compassionate physician and just an amazing person! If you find yourself in need of a hip or knee replacement, he is, without a doubt, THE BEST! I always tell them "it's a pleasure to come here." They are very, very accommodating and the pt is always given by Jon. Jasmine, his receptionist, is an all-around worker - super friendly, does the ultrasounds when Jon is working on another patient, she does the ice and heat packs. I always tell her that 20 minutes can't have gone possibly that quickly when I have the heat packs, as they feel so good. Jon ALWAYS does the massage and heavy work eg, spine, himself. I've been to places where they leave you lying on a table waiting for someone to do the next step. Jon customizes his treatment to each individual and takes the time to listen. They accommodate with appt times, lights on/off in the treatment room, anything they can do to make things easier. I would wholehartedl recommend them. If it were possible I'd rate them a solid 10. But instead, I will rate them 5 stars as shown above.

When I needed a quick answer his so called assistant sent me a email stating that if she needed anything she would let me know.She is the rudest most unprofessional assistant. My knee replacement seem to go well I had surgery on Monday and Thursday I had emergency surgery for my hole in my colon ( I should have died) my surgeon what the notes for my knee replacement my family called for 2 days straight no one answered my husband went there himself to get all my information. No one was at the front they were in the back having once again on a break, my husband got really frustrated that the lack of the professionalism . My husband is a very quiet man but this staff was taking there time getting the information that my surgeon was asking for, fyi his office tried to call and NO one was answering. To sum this experience if you are taking you mom or dad to seek help Dr Traub is amazing but you need to think about when you have a question or need a prescription refill or even a referral which is common after surgery you will spend many many wasted days trying to get this staff to do their job. For another time don't get me started on their billing mistakes they have billed me twice one was paid by insurance the other was denied brought to the accounting department not corrected as of today 4 months later.

One of those people you are immediately at ease with. She always makes me feel like I'm in good hands! She's very thorough when it comes to getting a full picture of my health, and seems to have a lot of knowledge about current research. She's not just there to write a script and send you on your merry way...she actually listens to you and even picks up on things you don't think to mention. Front desk staff and nurses are also very sweet and welcoming! Even the phlebotomist is wonderful, I have to get blood taken frequently and have difficult veins to find so I have some horror stories...but she always finds my veins on the first stick. The wait times are excellent, I arrived early for a morning physical and they took me almost right away, about 15 minutes before my appointment, then I was in and out in an hour (which I appreciated as I had to get to work). I've tried several doctor's offices in Alpharetta and am relieved that I've finally found one I both like and trust. Can't say enough good things. Highly recommended!
