I really appreciate them doing my Kidney ultrasound. They really catered to me in a way that I didn't expect.

Before I write the review: PLEASE BRING A USB FLASH-DRIVE TO YOUR ULTRASOUND APPOINTMENT We went for our 25 week, Ruby Ultrasound. (July 15th at 10am) that included 2D/3D/4D/5D photo and video recording of our baby. The staff is so friendly. The ultrasound technician is wonderful. We were very comfortable during our visit. Very wonderful in-person experience. The technician told us to anticipate the footage sent via Email in the upcoming hour and sent us home. I'd like to give them 5 stars for service, but I think their organization needs a bit of work. The whole process to obtain the footage we paid for was very messy and required us to call the office back more times than necessary. I had to call around 2pm to ask about the whereabouts of footage from this morning. They forgot. Jessie (front office) told us she would get to them asap for us. I received the emails at 3:14pm. But only the video footage was clear enough to see and read. All the photos were sent individually attached in the email. So the jpegs got very compressed when sent. Unfortunately, nothing is legible nor are the photos clear enough to see on my end of the email. I called to let Jessie know of the situation, that the photos were blurry. And I wanted to know if we could get the photos via Google Drive, since their email is also a Gmail address. She said she would try for us, but was unsure if they could. She told us that we should have brought a USB drive and they could download it there for us. I waited until 4:30pm to call back to ask, "If we were visit next Monday with a USB, would we still be able to receive the footage?" Which she told us was perfectly fine. Thank goodness. UPDATE: - July 22, 2024 we successfully received our downloaded ultrasound footage. But the whole process was still very messy. SUGGESTIONS: - I think ProCare should mention that a USB Flash-Drive is highly recommended, prior to the Ultrasound visitations. - It says on their website that you can book online via Square, but their Online Booking also doesn't work. Dr. told me I needed an ultrasound after I was complaining about a bit of stomach pain. He referred me to Wellstar Kennestone, who I was never able to connect/schedule with (despite my very diligent efforts). This has been my experience in the past with imaging services at Wellstar Kennestone, and the cost for such services are quite a bit higher than they are here. I called yesterday morning to get on the books at Procare. They have a voicemail set up asking you to leave your info, and the imaging services you are looking for, and they will call you back. I was able to get an appointment the same day for an abdominal ultrasound. Even better, it was only $180, which is quite a bit less than I have paid for the EXACT same service from local hospitals. The COVID protocol here is the best I have seen at any place I have been since the pandemic started. My appointment was at 1:45. I arrived about 5 minutes early to make sure I found the place in time/gave enough time to do whatever paperwork I had to do (which was only providing my contact info, by the way). The person working the from desk was wearing a mask, promptly greeted me (while maintaining her distance), handed me a pen that she sanitized in front of me, and was sure to verify the info I provided to her. I was whisked off to the procedure room and there I waited. Compared to a normal hospital environment, this was more than comfortable (pic attached). The ultrasound itself was easy. The tech was sure to explain to me what she was doing (from behind the plexi-shield), and displayed the ultrasound screen on a tv on the wall. Being a nerd, and a concerned person about my abdominal pain, it was REALLY cool to be able to see what she was seeing, and have an idea of how everything looked on my insides (I know that sounds weird, but it's the type of person I am lol). She told me what she saw, said the dr would review everything, and said they would send me the final review in the next few days. The whole process from start to finish took maybe 20 minutes. These boutique style healthcare places are becoming more common as more and more people decide to take control of their healthcare. I would say this place understands that and tries to help in making what are otherwise very costly and uncomfortable experiences pleasant. 5/5 -- if I need more imaging done, I'll come back. -Nicolas read more

A great alternative to a hospital anatomy scan and 3D ultrasound :) Note: I do not have a high risk pregnancy, so I cannot speak for those who require close antenatal monitoring, but, I was recommended to have a 20 week anatomical scan at a hospital (which would incur hospital fees, equipment fees, hospital staff fees and non-hospital staff ultrasound specialist fees). I called and looked it up- this would end up billing my insurance for between $2,000 and $3,000 for a half hour appointment! That is crazy people, even if you've hit your deductible. So, I looked at ProCare as an alternative. I called and they responded within 2 days to set up my anatomical ultrasound which ended up being $200 out of pocket. This is sooo much cheaper than a hospital version! They did a good job and created a report for my OBGYN covering all of the topics he was looking for- placenta position, size of critical bones, weight etc. I was able to do it later in the day so my husband could attend - after 5PM! We loved Amy and ProCare so much that we did an optional 28 week 3D ultrasound on SATURDAY. Again, my husband wasn't working then and was able to attend. My baby wasn't really cooperating to get a good picture, but Amy tried for 2 hours to get a good shot. In the meantime, we got to see our baby for 2 whole hours, she recorded the heartbeat, created 2d videos and took amazing 2d photos for us for $170! She even told us to come back a week later to try and get a better 3d image, free of charge. We spent another hour watching our baby and getting a good image of my baby's face a week later. Overall, these guys are amazing and spend time on you and your baby. We were in awe the whole time and loved seeing the baby so long. I know in a hospital, we would have been in and out of viewing in 30 minutes or less only during office hours M-F... for way more $$$, regardless of the baby's position. We love ProCare and will be recommending them to all of our expecting friends :) read more

Was asked to get an Ultra-Sound by my physician after a vein procedure. He referred me to an imaging center affiliated with Northside Hospital. They even made the appointment for me..Upon learning that the procedure would have cost me $1300.00 out of pocket because of my high deductible health plan, I decided to shop around for an alternative. ProCare was close by and I called to evaluate their services. I was very impressed with Amy and her knowledge. Made an appointment on the spot for later that day. Had a thorough ultra-sound at a total cost of $250.00. She went out of her way to fully explain the procedure and my results were sent the same evening. There is no correlation in my mind that spending more money gives you better quality. In my view I received a high quality ultrasound from a technician with over 15 years of prior experience. Super Awesome! I have no words for this great company. I used to have great corporate insurance that covered each and any procedure - so I had everything my doctors suggested....and then we 'retired' (but I'm still working ) and I had to buy my own insurance. Catastrophic, basically, so my insurance doesn't cover anything much. Over the years, my doctors have suggested lots of tests and procedures that I couldn't afford. Then I had a heart 'scare' and needed an echocardiogram & figured this one was important! My provider gave me a 'base estimate' of $2,300. That was before reading it and sending the results to the cardiologist. Highway robbery!! I called ProCare and got the same procedure for $325 WITH the reading. Professional, friendly and efficient.
