Unlike most shops you dont see banners or logos all over the place, instead you see art made by homies for the homies so mad props for that. Not too many skate shops in the area but once you do find a good one you should stick to it. They've filmed all the classic trails, even some new ones like 'Blind Squirrel,' and make planning rides easy. Over July 4th, I rented a Specialized Turbo Levo. They did a professional fit adjustment, free of charge, and the staff pointed me to new trail improvements I would've missed, even as a former local. Thirty years on, the sport keeps evolving. I went in here skeptical to find anything but pricey Levi's, cowboy hats, & collared shirts. However, I was delighted to find mens' long-sleeved t-shirts with a pocket on the front for $12/each. My dad is a lifelong pocket on the t-shirt fanatic & he was elated to have these t-shirts. However, the first two I took home were too small so I was able to return them & get something different & pay the difference when they didn't have 2 shirts of the same style in the size I needed. They also advertise local events & sell these really awesome dog treats called dogs dig 'em which are made locally by women in recovery through the St. Francis Homeless Projects.
