While I was asking questions, the rep kept answering calls without asking them to hold, which made things feel rushed. They seem to do solid custom work, but if you're on a budget or want more control over your setup, this may not be the most approachable place. Felt more transactional than collaborative.

Not only did they have the mic, they even caught I had the initial wrong one. Good price, HONEST, and fast service. I got a chance to see some of the work they were doing in their shop and it looked amazing. They had one truck fired up and the sound was really good. You could tell that they really took the time to make sure their customers are satisfied, and that their work was above, and beyond what the average shop provides. I have been to Zamz on a handful of occasions for advice and two times for service and these guys…read morenever disappoint. If I was there for information they always took their time with me and I never felt like I was bothering them or they wanted me to either spend money or leave. The first experience I was looking for a dash cam for my wife's car. They gave me their input on the best choice (on Amazon) and told me they would install it if I brought it in. They could have easily sold me something for more money, but they had our best interest at heart. I followed their advice, bought it on Amazon and brought it in to be installed. It cost less than their original estimate. Who does that? Then I needed to replace the stereo in my 1996 Electra Glide as it had seen better days. Everyone else I talked to wanted to sell me a $3500 unit for a $7000 motorcycle. These guys recognized exactly what I needed and worked with me. Again they helped me find a part on Amazon that they couldn't get through their suppliers and upgraded my speakers for a better sound at 80 mph. These guys will always be my go-to people. They are honest, down to earth, reliable and fun to work with. I recommend you not waste your time shopping around when these guys are right around the corner. They gave me a tour of the shop and showed me some of the intricate work they do on show vehicles, boats, custom work and everyday vehicles. At first, I my thoughts were to upgrade all of the speakers. Unlike myself, Lou was extremely knowledgeable with what my car came with and offered up a suggestion that's would be best. The quote was exactly what I had asked for, but I decided to stick to replacing both of the under-seat subs because I'm undecided on whether or not I am keeping this car. Lou agreed and ordered the speakers which came quickly and were installed expeditiously. I'm happy to know that there is a local business that I can trust for my car audio needs.

Every time I'd take it out to the dunes and drive through the sand to get my camper where I wanted it, the front differential would end up cracking or failing. Brett and Kev took the time to diagnose the real issue and came up with a permanent solution. They fabricated a custom bracket to reinforce the front differential, making it much stronger, and also re-geared both the front and rear differentials. I was honestly a little hesitant at first because I'd had so many failures in the past, but after taking it back out to the dunes and putting it through some hard driving in the sand, it performed flawlessly. The difference is incredible. My truck feels stronger, more capable, and gives me the confidence to drive it the way I always wanted to. If you're looking for knowledgeable people who stand behind their work and build things the right way, I highly recommend Brett and Kev at Big Boyz.
