Came here based on strong reviews, but the experience didn't line up. I called ahead, explained my car, its features, and my $1,200 budget -- was told that could cover a head unit and sub install. But in person, just the head unit install was quoted close to $1,000. There was no real selection to choose from -- just parts pulled up on a computer with little input from me. While I was asking questions, the rep kept answering calls without asking them to hold, which made things feel rushed. They seem to do solid custom work, but if you're on a budget or want more control over your setup, this may not be the most approachable place. Felt more transactional than collaborative. read more

Hey someone who actually answers the phone on a Friday afternoon! I was in a jam and needed a mic for a radio I bought. I called three different places and these guys answered the phone. Not only did they have the mic, they even caught I had the initial wrong one. Good price, HONEST, and fast service. I got a chance to see some of the work they were doing in their shop and it looked amazing. They had one truck fired up and the sound was really good. You could tell that they really took the time to make sure their customers are satisfied, and that their work was above, and beyond what the average shop provides. This place is amazing ! I needed a new "infotainment" part installed in my suburban. Dealer wanted 1.5K plus it would take 3 weeks to get the part. Parts on back order from GM Called Zamz and spoke to Sam who looked up part for me. Suggested I buy part after market and they would install. Just getting the part was an issue but took to Sam who installed within an hour. I still needed to send part of the non working part back to get a refund. Sam again offered to help me pack up the old part and have it picked up by their scheduled UPS !! Have not seen this kind of customer service for years!! He carefully went over how the installation would go and showed me where things would be installed on the van. Excellent, careful workmanship by Jaime & David on my classic Corvette. I needed a backup camera for my 1995 Corvette. It needed to be unobtrusive, look as if it had been put in at the factory, and have no exposed wires. Zamz went above & beyond to find the perfect combination of license frame camera and a replacement rear view mirror with a hidden video screen that only appears when the car is shifted into reverse. You'd never know it wasn't the stock, factory mirror! Outstanding, careful and caring job. I was calling around searching for the right place to get a new stereo, speakers, and a new monitor installed in our Yukon, the excuse was that it was a Father's Day gift. I did some calling around on a Tuesday before Father's Day and Since I was pressed for time, I ended setting up an appt at another location, before I ran into The Audio Shop. I called the Audio Shop just out of curiosity but I really didn't think I'd switch since I needed the job done that same weekend. I honestly thought the price would be the deal breaker but in the end, it was the awesome customer service provided by the owner, Dave and his employee Jaime (ok ok the price was awesome as well, got an even better deal!). Dave made the whole experience flawless, even when this deal took place during a busy working day for me! He didn't take my roadblocks as a "no", was not pushy at all, and figured out a solution in which we were both happy. They were quick and efficient! Everything that was installed sounds perfect and looks amazing! I truly believe that I got the better end of the deal.
