First he had to remove excess gravel from when we had it chipped and sealed believe me that was a job in itself. Then the cleanup began, there was a lot of dirt that had built up under the gravel had to clean that up so the material would seal to the driveway. I found a Groupon 4 years ago…read morewhen I installed the sump pump and drain tile in the first half of my basement (as a public school teacher with 3 jobs, I could only afford half at that time). +1 star for discount!! The pump quit working; they said a lot of customers had that issue. They installed a new one w/out incident; +1 star for that. This spring, I decided to waterproof the remaining 2 walls. Before I could do that, the tile started leaking & the downspout they installed did too (see video). In sum, in the 4.5 years since this was installed: the pump had to be replaced; the drain tile is malfunctioning and letting in leaks; and the downspout came apart, allowing everything the pump ejects to sink back down into my basement. I emailed the contractor a specific question: when can someone come out to address these problems, regardless of whether or not I hired them to do the rest of the basement? Weeks passed and I got no definite answer. They were immediate in their response for a bid request; but inconsistent in responses to warranty issues. Was I able to go to Lowe's, buy a caulking gun and silicone, watch some Youtube videos, and eventually complete the repair myself? Yes. Should I have had to when my warranty covered the issue? I don't believe so. In the end, I chose to hire another (more expensive) company to do the rest of my waterproofing because I wanted a BBB-accredited company that would communicate reliably & follow through when needed.

By 6:10 the crew had tarps hanging from the roof covering my shrubs, sidewalks, etc. the crew even got the potted plants out of the yard and under the front portico. Then the old roof started coming down! I returned from my daughter's house at 11:45am to find the job completed. The yard, driveway & sidewalks were immaculate. By tearing the roof down to the plywood they were able to identify & replace 7 sheets of plywood. They did a great job at a very competitive price!

When we found one side (our neighbor's side) of the fence in need of repair, I contacted this company. I called the number on the website, left a message which was returned within the hour. The current owner was available to come out within the hour to give me a free quote. When it was done, he left me his cell number and an amazingly affordable price for the repairs. I told him I'd be in touch. And I did stay in touch. I called the company phone casually over the next few months and even reached out to the owner (his cell phone that he shared w/ me) a couple of times. Figured the pandemic was affecting business and gave them some grace. Then I called again and left a message. No reply. My husband called and left a message. No reply. As a last resort, I sent an email and no answer. For kicks, I checked their Google reviews and saw reviews posted by clients one or two months ago for a project. My honest reaction: WTF? Confusing.
