After going to in-house PT at Waccamaw, who also were outstanding. It was time to go back to outpatient PT. So called Chris, explained what was going on, and that I would not trust anyone else with my recovery. That I was still alive was a miracle in itself, and I trusted no one else to take care of me. My arthritis has never given me an issue whatsoever. If he would have just looked at my wrist, he would have seen bite marks that I saw the next day when I got the swelling down. He wouldn't even look and kept insisting it was arthritis. Then they charged me $3834.00 for just walking in and had numerous wrong charges including chemo meds on my bill for a total of over $6400. I spoke to the billing department who is sending it up for an audit. But seriously, $3834.00 for just walking in. Thankfully, I have Medicare and Tricare but still. Check your statements people!!

When they finally took me for an X-ray, they told me I had a kidney stone and said they would administer treatment. However, when they came to administer it, they didn't use gloves or take any precautions; their equipment touched their clothes, and they had just been eating--I saw them do it. I told them I didn't want to stay there, so they made me sign a form stating that I was refusing treatment. The next day, they called to tell me my condition was critical; when I went to ask about it, they insisted again that I stay. I refused once more, so they asked if I would at least agree to receive the treatment. To my utter shock, they took me into a *bathroom* to give me the injection--a bathroom where I had seen people going in to vomit. It smelled terrible, I had to stand the whole time, and they handled everything with the very same hands that had touched everything in that bathroom. Since then, I've tried to get in touch because I received a $2,800 bill that I cannot afford to pay, but every time I call, the service is terrible and no one gives me an answer. Their service is horrible; there is no hygiene or care, and the staff are extremely rude. I find it absurd to have to pay $2,800 for a three-hour wait and poor service.
