Why didn't I read this over more carefully? If you are silly enough to still pay money to this criminal, check your own returns for this notice... you don't have to trust my word. We have found another accountant to undo the damage that Stearnes has done to us... for about the same amount he charged to do the illegal original job. We have hundreds of dollars of interest to add to this bill, for each of the years that he wronged us. This is an insult on top of the injury of having to pay a significant amount of back taxes to the Feds and the state to correct his mistakes. Unfortunately the only way to recover the fees Stearnes took from us and to hold him accountable for the interest charges resulting from his crime is to file a civil suite against him.
