Our experience at Waldwick Covered Courts was incredibly disappointing. The management accused my…read more10-year-old daughter of bullying without ever speaking to her or letting her share her side. They canceled a planned meeting to resolve things and abruptly told us she could no longer attend. Their communication was inconsistent, their handling unprofessional, and their decisions unfair. They even mentioned another child by name in writing, which felt careless and inappropriate. After taking payment for weeks of classes, they suddenly claimed my daughter wasn't participating -- something they never mentioned before removing her. I left feeling deceived, frustrated, and appalled by their lack of fairness and accountability. I strongly suggest parents look elsewhere for a tennis program that actually understands how to work with kids respectfully.

I came here to support a friend in his big final match…read more This seems to be a really nice club with players and patrons all super friendly. This one particular guy started having a conversation with me and I was convinced he thought I was someone else. You know me, I played along. "Yeah yeah I've been good, just enjoying what's left of the summer. How's the family?" Tehehe. He told me about people and events while I had no clue what he was on about. My friend and his opponent had a really intense game going but it would be amiss of me to say I was really into the match. So...**blocks face**...after about a minute or two, I left and went to peruse the club's grounds. It is heavenly! Like I wanna come here with canvas to paint and I'm not even an artist! It's just so serene there. I'ma end this review and let my one thousand pictures do the talking for me...including my "fight" with a chipmunk! I was a little apprehensive about playing during Covid, but Ridgewood Racquet has outdone themselves with procedures & protocols since they were allowed to open during the pandemic. They disinfect, take temperatures, social distance & have rules as to entry & exit. I feel extremely comfortable playing here. A wonderful place with wonderful staff.

Now, 3 years later, I can't recommend this place enough. The instructors have helped me learn form, technique and skill. Being an indoor facility (there are 4 courts), it is great to be able to play year-round. Oksana, the head pro, and Liliana, the owner, are both extremely accommodating. I've had a lot of fun and my game has improved tremendously.

I joined the club last summer and definitely took full advantage. It's a small club and outdated…read moremeaning no fun bells and whistle's for the kids like many other clubs in the area. It is also very pricey compared to other clubs being that it isn't sponsored by a town but open to residents and other surrounding towns. That said it was a great way to spend relaxing days. The pool was pretty quiet even empty some days and there was always ample seating. Evenings however after work pick up of course. I was able to pack a cooler with lunch, snacks or have the offerings of a concession stand. So if in the mood for fries or a burger or a salad I definitely had that option. Furthermore I love that they don't prohibit outside deliveries of food. So if spending an evening there I was able to order outside delivery in. A nice bonus is that they offer tennis camp, swim team and swim lessons to members. Members can also use the tennis courts until the season closes in November. Pool water is freezing. Tennis courts and tennis program phenomenal. Small playground for kids which is a nice touch. Cleaning was done efficiently which I appreciated given Covid. If looking for a low-key pool to enjoy during the summer take a tour.

But I didn't know that until I came here. My dad got me private lessons here for my birthday. The first day I came here, I learned just how much they were teaching me wrong. Now, every time I take a lesson, I'm learning five new things. I was just repeating the same strokes over and over again in the Park Ridge Tennis Academy and using the grips I wanted to. I didn't even know what grips were! I definitely recommend the Washington Township Tennis & Fitness Club without even giving it a second thought.

I was amazed that they had that many things in one small park. There were mostly kids playing and a couple parents watching the little ones. It looks like you probably need a permit for the baseball field. It looks like a great place for kids that are local to go play!
