Good Vet care, but it's very hard to get prescription ordered food from them. Very difficult people.

After a devastating experience with our dog Bailey who continually had bloody noses. Dr. Immerblum diagnosed him with a rare disease fungal infection called Aspergillosis and after a year of complex medications, Bailey has been cured. In addition to this, he has extreme allergies and cycles through awful bouts of loss of hair and wounds. Due to the persistence of the medical care offered by Goldens Bridge, Bailey is healthy and vibrant and we are tremendously grateful. If you are looking for a vet who will be as committed to your animal as you are you have found the place! All of the staff is warm, friendly, and supportive!!!

He said it was a digestive problem but there was no signs that I could see of this. He did extensive tests for a great deal of money that all verified she was quite healthy. I then got emails and calls telling me she needed more expensive tests as her condition was critical. I took her to another vet in the area and she took noticed her gums were receding and she had exposed tooth roots that were very apparent when I was shown this. She is now gaining weight and back to her normal happy disposition. I called Golden Bridges and was told there was nothing wrong with her care and it was all my fault. I have recordings of the calls and emails that I must take her back to the clinic for more expensive tests.

Her wisdom and forethought went above and beyond my expectations, and believe me, I had rehearsed this terrible day many times in my head. My call was promptly returned, a convenient time scheduled, and the process discussed. During this time of social distancing, some special accommodations needed to be made, but they in no way interfered with the love my dog received that day. Dr Dale played music made for dogs ears only and was extremely comforting to me as well. She made a clay print of my dogs paw, which I will cherish forever. The support Dr Dale gave that day extends far beyond as she checked in on me and provided access to support groups. When I picked up my dogs remains, they where surrounded by meditation gardens and considering the circumstances (pandemic restrictions) I couldn't have asked for anything more comforting and reassuring that my dog was truly loved and that I had made the right decision. The Place is clean and it's not hard to get in for an appointment. My biggest issue is the turnover of doctors. Once I find a vet they never stay. I like to know my veterinarian and remain with the same person. I recently have been to a young doctor who I really liked and now I don't remember her name and I would have liked to follow her wherever she went. I have yet to find someone I really like in Fairfield county. But GAH so far has been the best option.

One I left because there was a big change in staff and not for the better, the other , the corporate office decided to close my location after 10 months. At that point it didn't matter since my dog had crossed the rainbow bridge. A new four legged furry entered the picture so I now needed a new vet. I came to Greenwich Veterinary Center on a recommendation. Since I had no history for my new partner in crime, I took advantage of their introductory offer for a "free" first appointment, sort of lets meet. The front staff was welcoming. The wait was reasonable. The tech came in brought us into an exam room we informed her we needed to get a baseline on health and vaccinations Karina asked the all important probing questions. Then the vet came in and she took time to perform the 120 point new vehicle check. Once she was done with the initial check up she went over a game plan. As it turned out my dog was mostly caught up with all his vaccinations. My big concern was flea, tick, and heartworm since I did not have any preventive meds and needed to get. At no point did I feel pressured to do anything additional everything was clearly explained. My only issue which mirrors other comments is the costs. Final thought, the facility was very clean and well lit, always a good sign!
