    Boxing session!

    One of the best trainers I've had. I've been with 3 trainers when it came to boxing/kickboxing and by far he is the best. He is very patient and explains the movements and concepts thoroughly instead of just punching- he tells you why behind it. After doing kickboxing/boxing for over a year, I finally understood the concept through Paul. Because of him I started to actually enjoy boxing. He pushes me to do my best and encourages me when I'm not getting it. I highly recommend him to for any types of personal training even tutoring haha jk! You won't regret it!

    After training I'm dying but happy!!!! Paul it's great !

He's incredibly attentive during our sessions, correcting my form and pushing my goals each week. I'm a competitive person, and I thrive off challenges and raising the bar. I feel super comfortable with Braedon, knowing he will challenge me in a safe and supportive way. My goals with TWD have been to gain weight and gain muscle, and for the first time in my life I actually see and feel the results of my hard work. One of the many perks of working with a trainer is having someone to hold you accountable and help guide you with both the workouts and the nutrition. I've struggled with my own fitness journey throughout my life mostly because I travel so much for work, and I don't have a consistent schedule. Braedon works with me and my hectic schedule regardless if I'm home or on the road. If you're considering getting a personal trainer, I cannot recommend Train With Dave enough. Braedon is incredible, but truly all of the trainers there are amazing. You'll be so grateful if you decide to come to TWD.

I was anxious as I was recovering from an injury but my physical therapist told me any good trainer would know how to adjust. I had just received my tax refund and I was ready to find a trainer. I'm gonna be 30 this year and my older brother is getting married in August. It was time to lock in. I was set up with Stefan and thank goodness I was. He is the sweetest person I have ever met and I really felt like I built community because of him. Bri is a client AND their main point of contact for setting up paperwork and payments and I grew so close to her. Her and Stefan made working out fun again for me. I was so happy to come and work out and it never felt like a chore. The workouts are tough but very do-able. At train with dave they want to make sure it becomes habit, not just a phase. For my final 12 week photos that I've attached, I'm supposed to wear the same outfit but I was in the middle of moving. That's the only reason I couldn't continue in person but I love Stefan and the program so much that I am continuing with virtual training. The results speak for themselves. You have to stay consistent and listen to your trainer. They are there to help you. I not only built a new exercise routine but I built community and friendships. I owe it all to Train with Dave. I love you Bri and Stefan!

I tried doing it alone, but I quickly realized that I had no clue what I was doing both at the gym and with my diet. I needed someone to help teach me what to do. I found Coach Nate on Yelp, read through his reviews, and decided to give it a try. I am so happy I did! Nate does an awesome job of teaching you how to do an exercise no matter what your starting point is. He's very patient, constantly checking in with you and asking you questions to make sure you feel comfortable with what you're doing. He pushes you to your limit, but makes sure you have all the support you need to get past it. By the end of my 3 months, I felt comfortable and confident enough to do the workouts on my own. I knew what I was doing, I knew how to correct my form, and I knew just how much I could push myself without losing my form. Nate also helped me create a meal plan that worked with my lifestyle and met my protein goals. I remember at one point I felt like I was not making any progress until Nate started asking me questions about my diet and cooking. We both quickly realized my mistake (using way too much oil when cooking), we fixed it, and we very quickly starting seeing results again! I was able to lose 5% body fat and gain about 7 lbs of muscle within 3 months of working with Nate. I don't think I'd ever be able to accomplish that if it wasn't for his mentoring and constant support! I highly recommend you work with him, you won't be disappointed! Lagree is a whole different ballgame and challenges you like no other. If you want to shake like a leaf, lagree is the way to go. And especially at The Dungeon. Their staff has always been so friendly, their instructors top notch. There's been mentions of no mirrors being a bother - I personally LOVE it. It makes you concentrate on your muscles and focus on what you need to do instead of having to check mirrors. If your form is incorrect, that's what the instructors are there for. This place is close to home and one of my old instructors from AKT teaches here so heard only good things about them. I did a Friday am trial class with Lauren at 9. I have only done lagaree once before and it was Years ago with YELP so safe to say I am a newbie and clueless in form. Lauren was nice enough but it was a standard class so I felt I had to ask a lot of questions and get clarification. I did ask her after why there are no beginner or intro classes as it would definitely be more beneficial for attendees and instructors. Oh well, not an option. I did like it enough so bought 3 classes for $65. Did not authorize any other charges and had no idea they kept my card on file. I booked a class and life happened and I couldn't show. I just thought, oh lost the class, oh well, but nope got charged a $20 no show fee as well. The only thing that was explained at purchase was the classes would expire in 30 days no otherwise information about no show or late fee. Anyways never attended the 3 classes I bought either, wamp wamp.

From the first time I walked in to get more information from Francis, everything was straightforward, honest, and no-nonsense. It's a solid space to work out without pressure. The recent expansion has added another level of real functionality and appeal, making the space even better. You get high-quality equipment, a clean and well-designed space, and great coaching without paying for hype or trends. It feels like a smart investment if you're serious about training. The atmosphere is calm, welcoming, and non-judgmental--people of all levels are there to work out, and it's easy to feel comfortable whether you're new or experienced.
