I took the December 2024 virtual class with John D. The class and the resources from PMA helped me pass my PMP exam.

In February 2024 I took John Dokos PMA class and in August I passed the PMP. I highly recommend this class and John Dokos as an instructor.

Marty Payne conducted a relatively pain free training session, and I was successful in passing the PMI/PMP examination.

In just a few…read moremonths, I went from having only a basic understanding of programming to feeling confident in my ability to contribute in a professional tech environment. The course was intense and at times overwhelming, but the structure, support, and encouragement from the instructors made a huge difference. There were moments when the material didn't click right away, but with persistence and guidance, everything came together piece by piece. I especially appreciated the variety of teaching styles--each instructor brought unique perspectives and methods that helped reinforce the material in different ways. This made the learning process more dynamic and accessible to everyone in the class. The projects, both individual and group-based, were invaluable. They not only solidified what we learned but also gave me real-world experience in teamwork, problem-solving, and communication. These skills are just as important as the technical ones when stepping into the tech industry. As someone transitioning careers, I found the environment supportive and motivating. The small class size allowed for more personal attention, and the sense of community helped me push through the toughest weeks. It wasn't easy, but it was worth it. I'm grateful for the knowledge gained, the friendships formed, and the opportunities this program has opened up for me.and please enrolled my website http://www.iwanttolearnsql.com/

There were times when I felt ready to give up, times I didn't know what I was even learning only to finally understand it a week later. I really enjoyed having multiple teachers present information coming from different backgrounds and experiences. The multiple rotating teaching styles helped as well, especially since different students learn in different ways. As a USAF Veteran who had a bad experience with attending a school that claimed to be "Veteran friendly", I was thankful for the care Skill Distillery gave to its prior service students. It was also fun having Vets from all four branches in my class, providing comradery and an easy way to get to know one another through shared military experiences. Sprinkled throughout the program were several pair, group, and individual projects ranging in difficulty and time allotted to accomplish. These projects instilled the skills learned and helped me get a sense of how to work together on a team, a skill essential to today's tech industry workplaces. Although the school lacks the flashiness of some of the other local boot camps, in the end, it helped me (as an extrovert) remain focused on my studies without distraction. I also enjoyed the small class size allowing the teachers to spend more one on one time with each student. Again, Skill Distillery was super challenging but I am thankful for the skills learned, the relationships made, and the opportunities I now have going forward.

With the exception of a rather befuddled and out-to-lunch XML instructor, every course was taught by an experienced, professional instructor with lots of workplace experience in the subject he was teaching. A polished office staff makes sure students are informed well in advance of upcoming classes in their field. The office is kept neat and clean, and the classroom computers are totally free of the technical glitches you find at other learning establishments. Machines are prepared by the instructor prior to the arrival of the students on the first day, so no time is wasted creating virtual machines and installing prereq software. AmeriTeach offers official vendor curriculum from Microsoft, Adobe, Oracle, etc. etc., which is designed to give you the knowledge necessary to pass certification exams from those vendors. Other local tech schools, LeaderQuest in particular, offer courses written by who knows who that do not have that focus. If you're seeking a place to get a good, solid IT education from professional, informed instructors, choose AmeriTeach. Stay as far away from LeaderQuest as you can. I would have given this review 5 stars had it not been for that one overmatched and unprepared XML instructor.

AVOID THIS SCHOOOL!!!…read more I first went to this school in 2019. I ended up failing (100% on me) I figured hey it was a great school Im going to focus on a little but more and really go after it ! I enrolled again in Summer of 2023, and figured hey ill also take my wife with me. Long story short we get done with ALL the hours. The videos online that Pat does are from 4-5 YRS ago! We noticed that when the books were completely off to what Pat was saying in the video ! And if you look closely at the videos on the bottom right I believe they were from 2020. We contacted them about it and said its all correct but alot of errors on the book. The questions on their quiz don't always match the questions and answers on the book. Did the market not change between 2020 until now dramatically ? They stress "Call us if you need help, or with questions. But when you do Pat and Dave get very defensive. Not only that they take days to get back to you. And finally get to the final. I reach out to the front office (Debbie) and she's reading my old file from 2019, which I was very confused about. And whenever we would have a question she would say "let me connect you with Dave" and he would send me to vm. Mind you I did it online this time as well so maybe there was a little bit of confusion on their system. After the 168 ours were done it was test time and they told both of us that "We only had one time to pass BOTH" They said because we were passed the expiration date? They would be "nice " and give us a discount so we would have to pay $300 dollars each after just paying them $1400. Wouldn't ever recommend and wont ever recommend! They set you up to fail so you can sign up again and pay them again! Thier stats on how good and their passing rate is misleading. They take all of their students who actually passed THIER test and PSI then count that. They dont mention anything about the percentage that actually dont pass at all. IF we would have known we were one and done with testing we would have gone with Kaplan or ACRE or just another school! Hopefully help future RE agents out when looking into their future school.

No structure, no technical training as we would expect. The teacher wanted her to do a recital and the teacher would play the background music. Upon arrival my daughter was told her teacher did not come and she would have no support or background music. My daughter bravely stood up in front of the crowd and sang the song with complete silence / no music, which was quite heartbreaking to watch, than preceded to cry the whole way home embarrassed. To top it off she was not offered the pin that all the other teachers gave there students. I can't recommend this school. The seem more interested in the recurring revenue of tuition than developing individual talents of the students.

We have been with Stephan and his team for about 4 years. My son had started to play the guitar just 6 months earlier and really wanted to be part of a band. His guitar skills improved greatly and expanded his interest into bass guitar and into drums. The 1:1 lessons were fantastic. Their summer camp became a launching pad to get into a band. Since then, he has taken up song writing and now plays different instruments in the band depending on the song or the talent need. They have even performed some of their original songs! Without LMS and the nurturing they provided for our young musician, I don't know if he would have gained the confidence and developed the passion he now uses to thrive. Thank you Dillon, Stephan and the LMS team!
