Thanks Project Photobooth for coming out to Exchange LA for the Yelp party. I just wanted to say that the photos being taken would have better turnout if you had some sort of sign giving instructions and also what to expect. We got three photos taken, but after the first one, we were caught unexpected. The first photo turned out okay but the other two were flops.... The sequence of our photos were done without warning and much faster than the previous few people that took them. It may also be a great idea for you to post some idea photos or sample photos showing what some of the other have done in the past.... In any case, thanks for being there and I think next time, I'll be more ready for you. Hahaha. =) read more

Love the concept! They were at the Little Tokyo event and were giving out free Photobooth shots. Being "Asian", I went in 7 times. Definitely would love to rent them out for a party...we'll see when I'm ballin enough to do that. I don't know the rental fees, but the quality of the photos are really good. read more

I had no idea there was even going to be something like this at the event we attended but the moment I saw it Kat A. and I jumped (was dragged *coughsorryKatcough*) in line ^_^ It's like my friend Kat A. says, the guys behind the camera were handling it! They had the props and everything set up so all you needed was to play around and smile pretty. In MOMENTS the pics were printed out and you were allowed on your way. I was surprised at the quality of the photos even though they didn't exist until five seconds after the flash of the camera! Love them! I hope they are at all the Yelp events ^_^ read more

I have had the pleasure of seeing these guys at two yelp events and I would say that I love how fast you get your pictures! Seriously, after your done with your shoot...WALLAH! Not only are his photos AMAZING, the experience itself is so ridiculously fun, it's like you are drugs, even if you're not! And not crappy downer drugs, really good happy drugs! This is the usual Yelp Photo guys for SoCal! They have been there to most of the events I have the pleasure of attending! Clean, crisp photos and on the website - individual photos and printed as three or four photos. Pretty Sweet. Recently used them in San Diego for the Yelp Prom - but used them many times for other yelp events in LA! They always have a cool background! My favorite background was the Tinseltown event at the Libertine. Sparkles!!! :D PRINT QUALITY: Very good. I love how clear it is and it has a gloss over it. PRINT SPEED: Very fast, Probably a wait time of less than 5 min. Depending on the amount of people too. PHOTO SCREEN: They have a screen to show previous photos that had been taken. These guys were at the 'Night Before Yelpmas' elite event - doing a bomb ass job. The line was outrageous, but this guy was busting it out like it was nothing. There was just a screen, lamps, a card table where homeboy sat and handled and a myriad of silly props to use to make the photos interesting. I didn't expect anything like this - in a matter of seconds, my friend Samantha Q. and I had posed 3 times as directed, with the use of giant candy canes and a Santa hat (that made me look like something out of the Rob Halford [Judas Priest for your virgins] Christmas album) Before we knew it, the pictures were printed out and handed to us for free! I didn't hire them, they did the photos at a Yelp event I was at. Even though it was quick, the photos came out surprisingly great! First we were ushered into place. Then we were pointed to where we should look and bam bam bam bam, we were done. Photos came out super fast and I didn't look stupid. I feel like I always look stupid in a photobooth. I cannot recommend Project Photobooth enough. I met Richard at a yelp event and ever since then I knew I was going to use them for my wedding. I'm so glad I did! They are super fun, professional, and it was the highlight of my wedding. Now, I'm using them again for my brother's wedding. Super amazing favors for guests and the photos will be hilarious when you get home. You get a DVD of all the photos, and two prints per photo so the guests could keep one copy and paste the other copy in your guest book. read more

Great, chill,fun set up. Saw them at the elite Komodo opening block party. Being a smaller event, they kept it simple with the white brick as the background. Love that they encourage fun, funky pics. PROJECT PHOTOBOOTH!!!!!! I came across Richard & Co. through Yelp events (thank you, Yelp..thank you!) and knew right away that I would want Project Photobooth for my wedding. This may or may not have happened before I actually met my husband...but I digress. Anyway, Richard turned out to be the first vendor I booked as soon as I got engaged and I am so glad I did! The process was easy and he delivered as promised and more! The default is now 4 quick poses instead of the individual prints but it was such a hit at the reception. The prints came out quickly and the open air camera gives so much more depth and space than an actual photobooth. Everyone had such a wonderful time that as soon as the digital images got uploaded, everyone's profile picture changed right away. If you're ever at a Yelp event and you see the flashing lights of light bulbs and digital camera equipment, you know there's going to be a line of yelpers who are snapping up silly photos... And you know it's going to have a line. Oh how there's always a line. But it's always worth it as they typically have a lot of props and other such theme related items. And then there's just the crazy factor. This photo booth is like taking a couple of shots of patron, cause whatever inhibitions you had going into this picture set have been tossed out the window and you're doing funky and funny poses you would not be caught dead doing otherwise. The camera folk are always chill and the pictures eventually work their way online. Which I guess is really even more closer related to a night of drinking patron shots, Really perfect for a company party or an event where you have a lot of people and want to make a lot of memories. read more

I was at an Elite event and these guys were here making us all look like studs. Maybe I am just new to this photo booth stuff or maybe these people are really SUPER amazing (which is true regardless, I suppose), but they take great pictures really quickly and make it SUPER fun. I love that they give you a copy right there and also let you see the photos online! Really, the photographers helped you to be creative and have a lot of fun, which is super important for great pictures! I loved it! Project Photobooth did a couple of corporate events for us recently, and they did an AMAZING job. They were extremely professional with high quality prints and online availability for tagging/download etc. They came in, setup the booth, printer, lighting (key), and a monitor to watch the pictures real time. Richard is amazing! My company hired him for our Casino Night last month and his photobooth was a HUGE hit! His booth setup is very unique and has a high production value. I try to save 5 star review for the best of the best and Project Photo Booth meets that standard. I went to a work event at the Puma Social Club and the PPH was there as the main attraction. Mind you they had a lot going on at this event, pool tables, ping pong, WII games, a deejay, free booze. But the line was for the photo op. They had props there and the guys were so nice and just busting out photo after photo within minutes. The quality of the photos is what I loved. With the logos and the black and white finish just really quality stuff. They made the event and provided me and my coworkers with the funniest pictures and a memory to last a lifetime. We worked with Richard for our wedding's photobooth. He provides outstanding customer service; he is very easy to work with and prompt to answer any of your questions or concerns. He is very understanding of our budget and made accommodations everywhere he could. He worked with us from start to finish to customize our event logo (which was awesome...California Love), our "custom" background, and get a live feed our photos projected at our reception for our guests to enjoy.
