I experienced a thorough yet comprehensive course with Kris, one of the certified instructors! He is very articulate, patient and knowledgeable. He makes you feel at ease and comfortable regardless of your knowledge about handguns. He has patience and takes time to address your concerns and questions regardless of how many questions you may have to ask just to ensure you understand. I was nervous and very hesitant about holding a handgun and going to the range but taking this course with this instructor, allowed me to feel a little more comfortable and increased by confidence. His course was comprehensive yet while at the same time not over burdened with too much technical jargon to learn and/or understand. The instructor explained this course in detail while citing relate-able examples and breaking things down into simple terminology. I sensed that the instructor wanted those taking the course to be comfortable and confident in using a handgun safely, thus the atmosphere felt safe and encouraging. It was a pleasant surprise that the course is reasonable in cost as it covered properly operating your handgun, tips to ensure safe use and carrying of the handgun, ways to improving the level of marksmanship, and it increased my confidence in holding, loading and shooting a handgun. I hope to take other courses from this group to maximize my safety around handguns, gain an enhanced ability in using and maintaining a handgun as well as marksmanship. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! I attended the Pro Ops Concealed Wear and Carry course in June. The instructor was extremely knowledgeable and I felt both informed and prepared for my gun ownership journey. I appreciated the instructor not only showing us the laws and how to find them, but also helping us dispel misconceptions about Maryland law and gun safety. Additionally, this course allowed us to view video footage that helped attendees think through both gun safety and the use of force. As someone who has extremely minimum gun use, the course helped ease some of my fears regarding guns, and allowed me to get use to proper gun terminology. I also think the shooting form, shooting, and gun draw activities helped provide a much needed hands-on aspect to the course making it extremely beginner friendly (and great practice for all in a safe, controlled environment). The instructors provide everything so you don't have to worry about having items for training, but are welcomed to bring your own. For day two we were at a range for our shooting test and the instructor maintained the same attentive and engaged approach to ensuring we maintained gun safety and provided attendees with a perfect example of range etiquette. By the end of the course I was excited to take the next steps to secure my license (which the instructor covered thoroughly... definitely do all three - MD, DC, and Utah). I received my HQL over a year ago with Prolific Operations Training Group and recently decided to take their two Day Multi State Concealed Carry Course. I'm so glad I did! From start finish, the experience was great. My instructor, Kris, communicated with me at the time of booking about what the class entailed and a general overview of what a Multi State Package was. Day one of the course was an interactive class that covered everything from gun safety to specific State Carry Laws. I learned how to safely unload a firearm, check and re-check for live rounds, clear a malfunction, load a magazine and more! There was even Fingerprinting on site, so that's one less step in the Process! Day Two was applying everything that we learned the previous day, to the real thing! In November 2020, My girls and I signed up for the HQL class with Prolific Operations (ProOps)! We were definitely in Great hands with these gentlemen! They were Prompt, Professional and most of all Patient; not to mention they were pretty funny we laughed while learning which took some of the nervousness away! Took the course twice from Prolific Operations Training Group (POTG). My first time was to obtain a owners permit. My second time was to obtain my conceal carry permit. The first experience was such a great one that it was a no brainier to go back to them for my second time. The staff was more than knowledgeable because they are experts in the field. These guys are amazing! Very knowledgeable, professional, and dedicated to personal growth. As a beginner they made me feel comfortable and made sure to cover the material thoroughly and to go over the information I did not understand. The instructors are very patient and will take the time to go over your targets and guide you through the whole process. Safety is most definitely their priority! This applies to covid safety too, they follow covid standards (temperature checks and 6 ft), sanitized the equipment regularly and kept several hand sanitizer bottles in the classroom.
