10/10 would recommend! Thought there was nobody that would be able to fix my (older) devices. They diagnosed my macbook charging and battery issues over the phone and serviced it same day. My laptop was back in my hands within the 30 minute visit to the store. They were very friendly and gave me plenty of tips on how to keep my devices working. I am always on the go and need my devices in work and extracurricular situations so they get dirty quickly, Promac took a look and cleaned so much from my devices. I have visited three times now with device problems and Promac always go the extra mile for by far the best price. Got months longer out of my iPhone when I thought I would have to scrap it and buy a new one with various broken parts. As they did with the macbook, they explained the issues they found and went beyond what I had asked for and helped fix issues under the hood they found while servicing my iPhone, all without surprise fees and last-minute issues. Very smooth experience, my to-go for a few months now for tech issues! Definitely check them out. I am a student at VCU who is very busy with school work. I typically go to RamTech on campus for any tech needs since I have a warranty with them, but due to some of the protests throughout the city, I needed another place to go, and fast. I found ProMac on Google and I decided to pray that they could help me. I walked in and they were the kindest people I could have had help me. They gave me a student discount to fix my MacBook Pro and within the hour, my computer was back up and running again like nothing happened. I had a similar issue occur a few weeks later and I immediately went back to Promac to see if they could help. They informed me that my computer was under their warranty and my computer was fixed like nothing had happened once more. And at no extra cost! So I have tried almost every Mac/pc repair store in the greater Richmond area, and frankly haven't had a good experience anywhere. That changed when I went into promac off broad. I was looking to upgrade my ram and add a solid state to my 21.5 inch 2017 4K iMac, and after going three other places receiving $300+ quotes and a turn around for the job being 2 weeks at best. Safe to say I was losing faith. Kelvin made me feel valued as a customer, and HE DID THE WORK IN A DAY. On top of that, he let me trade in Apple products to offset the labor cost. The keyboard on my brand new MacBook Pro broke and I had to ship it off to Apple for repair. When I got my backup MacBook Pro out the battery had gone bad. I replaced the battery but broke the trackpad in the process. I called every Mac repair shop in Richmond. Another business stood me up for an appointment so I called Kelvin. He had me come right over and had my trackpad replaced within 2 hours. Good price, excellent service, and I really enjoyed chatting with him and his staff. I will only use ProMac from now on. Awesome experience with the guys at Promac! My Macbook pro was inaccessible due to software issues and after getting nowhere with Apple support (they told me I would have to do a full reset and lose all my data) I decided to take it in to the shop on W Broad. Within a couple hours they retrieved all of my data and had the laptop back up and running. Super friendly, responsive, and very very reasonable pricing. Wonderful experience. My Mac Air was not functioning. Within 10 minutes of entering Promac, Kelvin had a diagnosis [dead hard drive], the part ordered, and me on my way. A day and a half later I got a call that the computer was ready for me to pick it up. We previously used Fruit Fixed and while the repairs or assessments were good, their follow-ups were less than consistent. Often had to call them repeatedly to try to get updates. Decided to try Promac and so glad I did. Great staff. They replaced my iPad screen and kept me informed about the repair status and when it was ready.
