Not only did I ask for a simple HDMI repair for my Xbox that was supposed to take TWO DAYS, I had to go to the store TWENTY TWO TIMES to even SEE my Xbox again after they shipped it off to Philadelphia! And when it FINALLY came back after TWO WHOLE MONTHS OF WAITING, they had to nerve to give it to me still not repaired! This is my second time here and I have had nothing but good experiences. My cell phone screen cracked the first time which I came in and got repaired within 10 minutes for a price that was much cheaper compared to other locations (I seriously called five different cell phone repair shops in Richmond and this place has the best price). I forget the name of the employee you helped me but he was very kind and was very professional in his work. I came in today January 2, 2022 and an employee named Bernie helped me today. My cell phone screen had a LCD crack which I have no clue what that is until I looked it up. This is the third time I have brought my computer to Mr. Fix and the third time they have done a great job. Mikhail took my computer in, assessed it, replaced my failed hard drive and recovered all my data. Each step of the way I was contacted and made aware of the status and offered the option to proceed or not, so they checked the data to make sure it was recoverable before charging me. The turn around was reasonable (4 days, a day delayed but once the analysis had been done they moved quickly), they are very knowledgeable, nice to deal with and the prices are certainly reasonable for this level of attention and service. I just had an experience of getting two of my phones being fixed by guys at Mr. Fix. One was Samsung Note 3 and other was LG G3. Alex was the first one to greet and fix my phone and the thing that impressed me the most is their honesty and quality of work. Screen that was broken was fixed flawlessly and other glitch that was happening with my phone was also fixed by Mr. Fix. Prices were very reasonable and they will try to work with you. Although other phone was not able to be fixed due to its motherboard error and not the charging port, I do not regret giving these guys a chance to try to fix it. Only bad thing about this place is parking. There is not an easy parking around it so you may have to park on 4th or 3rd street and walk a little bit. Other than that, awesome people with honest business! I would recommend and use it again. read more

I had the worst experience and had to dump my Dell laptop after handing over my laptop at Mr. Fix repair shop. My Dell laptop (bought in Nov 2016) was working awesome and my daughter she dropped it from the dining table. The charging port was damaged and I went to Mr.Fix (Short Pump side) in Feb 2018 for repair work, they have charged me around $55+tax. After repairing my camera stopped working suddenly ( it was On/Off), I went back and they kept the laptop for few days then returned back to me saying there is some issue you have change the camera wire though it was them who open the laptop to fix the charging port. I returned back saying okay will think about it and come later on as I need to work on my laptop now. Later my laptop was not turning ON, I went there and asked for help. The guy at the front desk kept the laptop and asked me to come tomorrow. I went there after 3 days and then came to know that they could not identify anything as they don't have any device to check these things :). I was shocked with this reply after few days. Later On after few weeks I went to other shop and they said the laptop is totally messed up when it was first fixed for the charging port and now I have no option other than dump this laptop. I am still thinking who's problem is this? Why this was not fixed at Mr. Fix. read more

This place stocks knockoff Apple screens that break immediately, do shoddy repairs and this last time didn't even bother to screw my phone back together after they replaced my screen for probably the 5th time in 6 months. After replacing my screen here I've had numerous problems with my phone including glitches, parts of the screen not responding to touch and their screens are HEINOUSLY fragile even with screen protector and case on the phone. My partner and I own a business in this neighborhood so we like to support other local businesses here on Broad street but these people are straight CROOKS. Tell me how after dropping my phone onto the kitchen table from a height of about 6 inches three days after the repair the entire screen shattered (again). They refused to honor their warranty when I went back and brought this to their attention despite their being problems with the screen even prior to the break. Mr. Fix preys upon people in this area that have no other choice for phone repair on the bus line with their garbage parts and service. AVOID this business at all costs or you'll be coming back for another phone repair before your next paycheck hits anyway. read more

Didn't use or realize the outer camera wasn't working and so Took it to geek squad they said possibly they could have disconnected the wire on replacing the screen so took it back to them and because it was over the 30 days since the original he fixed it they would not fix it I had spoken with the manager prior to going at a different store who told me just bring it up there and when I go out there they tell me there's nothing they can do. Screen color is completely different, I cracked my screen on my iPhone 8+ and saw this place had good reviews and quick repairs. The tech did replace it very quickly but when I got home I noticed the color seemed off, when I compared to my friends IPhone the color was noticeably different. The colors are not as vibrant as the original screen and I'm currently trying to get my money back to take it to Apple for a fix. Came to the East Broad location because this store had a part to repair my phone that the Stony Point shop didn't have (LED screen for Samsung S7 in black). After 2 defective screens were installed on my phone (not the stores fault, bad luck with the parts provider!), Michael (one of the employees) helped me out with installing a proper LED screen for my Samsung S7. This one was free, as my other repairs had defective parts, which was under the warranty. The shop is clean, the service is super quick, and not a big blow to your wallet (compared to other stores)!
