I had some success here in 2011-2012, but after a quick weight loss I ended up gaining the weight back even while still training here. I noticed Free Form Fitness train their personal trainers with their " health and fitness knowledge " and it feels they push this way of thinking to their customers. Some of their advices are not accurate for all and you would be better served getting the knowledge from the appropriate professional. I'm no longer sure of the value provided by Free Form Fitness.

The Short Version: Big chain grocery store in a shopping…read moreplaza. Large location. Lots of selection. The Long Version: This Loblaws is located in the South Keys Shopping Centre. It's huge and has a great Joe Fresh (clothing) section. I have to give it to Joe Mimran, the designer behind Joe Fresh (and husband of Kimberley Newport-Mimran of Pink Tartan fame!), launching a clothing line for a grocery store was an interesting project, but 21 years later it's still a success. Not all Loblaws locations carry Joe Fresh, but usually the bigger the store, the more likely they are to carry it. This location has a great selection. The grocery store part has good selection too. They have a decent cosmetics section, all drugstore brands of course, but lots of different brands. They also sell lots of prepared ready to eat foods and I like that they sell single cans of drinks. So I can buy a can to see if I like it before I commit to an entire case. And their single can prices aren't terrible. They have single cans of Zevia for $1.49. Not sure why the rating is so low for this location. I think it's pretty good. Lots of free parking in the plaza parking lot. Review #169 (2025)

I ordered a cake over 3 weeks prior to a kids birthday party. 1/4 slab super mario decorated cake…read moreto be ready on the Thursday night. I sent my husband for pick up the Friday morning at 9am. They couldn't have gotten the order more wrong... The lady proceeds to show my husband our cake, a spiderman themed cake. My husbands lets them know that that was not our cake, that we ordered a Mario cake to which the lady answered him with are you sure... He showed her the order slip that states the proper cake code with Mario cake written beside. She then tells him she read it wrong. Now how she read Spiderman out of Mario is beyond comprehension but alas. She then says give me 30 minutes and I will make another one. Unfortunately he had to leave as he had to go in to work. I called them from work and was obviously less then pleased since I had to now rush from work, go all the way to bank street for a cake pick up in afternoon rush hour to make it to the party location at the other end of the city in less than 1 hour. She disregarded my irritation to the inconvenience saying my husband could just come back... Followed by error is human and excuses of working alone and being short staffed... I just left it at that and said I would be back around 3 to pick up the cake giving her plenty of time to remake. I show up in the afternoon to pick up. She shows me the cake and although it was a Mario cake it was not what I ordered. What did it for me is that she kept saying that it was exactly what I ordered showing the book image of my cake. What she was referring to was that she printed an image similar to the cake I ordered and had it printed on icing and placed the 2 little mario karts on top. At this point I am beyond unimpressed and tell her if I wanted a printed cake (which is an option to order) that's what I would have ordered. We wanted the decorated Mario cake. She then looks at me and simply states well this one was easier for me to do... WHAT?!? So you were given an entire day to fix your mistake and make my order and you still did not come through with what I ordered. 100% unimpressed with this employee and the service we were given.
