I have been a regular customer at Pro Nails since they opened. I live in Quail Ridge and like to support the local businesses. There was absolutely no issues with my toenails when went to Pro Nails for a routine pedicure. The nail technician cut the nail of my right big toe quite short and when I left it was painful. That evening it got progressively sorer and by the next day the toe was very infected and it was painful to walk in shoes. I was extremely upset, I have been getting pedicures for the past 30 years and never had an issue. I soaked my foot and used an antibiotic cream on the toe and by the 2nd day it was healing however still infected and sore. I dropped by Pro Nails to let them know that after my pedicure my toe had become infected. They totally denied having anything to do with the infection and told me that I had an ingrown nail and to go see a Dr., they did not take any responsibility whatsoever for the infection that was a result of the pedicure I received. I don't have an ingrown nail, I have an infection caused by the pedicure I received at Pro Nails which they 100% denied.

I was surprised at the time but we decided to give them another chance as they had been good in the past. I booked an appointments for manicures and pedicures for my two girls 5 days in advance. Big mistake. We arrived for our appointment and there were only three techs for 5 people who were already in the salon. With us, that was 7 people there for services. It appeared to me that the 3 people sitting in the pedicure chairs were just beginning their pedicures. The tech asked me if we had an appointment and I responded that we did. I asked her if it would be long as I had another appointment to go to and she said they would take one of my daughters right away and the second one within 10 minutes. It was not right away. We sat there and she called my first daughter up 20 mins later. She put her in the chair for the pedicure, filled the water up, had her soak her feet for less than a minute and then immediately emptied the water. I sat there completely stunned while my daughter looked at me and shrugged. The tech (owner of the salon) then proceeded to race through cutting her toenails and removing cuticles. This did not resemble any kind of pedicure service we had ever experienced anywhere. It was then that I noticed that the tech was using the same pedicure tools that had been used on the customer who had been sitting in the chair beside my daughter on her. The tools had not been sanitized. My other daughter was called up in the middle of this. By this point, we were 30 mins past our appointment time. She had my second daughter sit in the chair and then proceeded to go back to a different client. At this point, I had had enough. I told both of my daughters to get up and that we were leaving. I told the owner that if they were running late for my appointments, they should have informed me as I made my appointment 5 days prior. She said nothing. No apology, nothing. When we got home, I noticed that the sides of my daughter's toes had been nicked by the tools used, most likely because the tech was rushing so much to finish. Absolute garbage customer service. Unsanitary tools. Rushing through services. There are a lot of nail salons in Langley to choose from. We won't be going back to this one and I can't see them lasting much longer if this is their new standard of service.

From the moment I walked in, I was treated like a VIP, with fresh tea kept at the ready. There was never any sense of being rushed, even through the nail color selection, which can take me quite some time! Special nail effects, chrome, cat's eye, gems and all the rest, are all readily available and professionally done as well. Prices are very reasonable, allowing me to have a regular monthly mani/pedi. Total bonus! Parking is not an issue, as it's in a large mall and they accept walk-ins as well as appointments. Give them a try. The business is new and deserves to be on your list of favorite places. I know you'll love it as much as I do.

The staff is truly amazing. They were so sweet to the girls and accommodated exactly what they wanted as far as designs on their nails (and they're 11 year old girls, so they can be high maintenance) Not only was the price fantastic (it was about the same cost as it was for just my daughter and I at the previous salon for all 3 of us) but all of nails look amazing. Highly recommend!!
