She was super polite and what was funny to me was compliancy questions she kept on apologizing for. I have tried 3 times just now to call the office to make an appointment. The first time their phone system immediately hung up on me. The second time, the connection was so bad, the young woman couldn't hear me and I couldn't understand her for the static and noise of others in the background. The third time there was the same issue--static, noise of others talking, speakerphone echo and delay at their site. The gentleman asked me just now to call back in an hour! Sanitas needs to get their phones fixed!

I called beforehand and the lady who took the phone was very nice & informative. On the contrary of other places that I called, she informed me about all the fees and necessary documents. There was a line when I arrived there and I honestly planned to leave cuz my pain was horrible, but I am sooooo glad that I didn't. The front desk staff, the nurse and the doctor were just awesome. I mean it. They were very friendly, humane, and calming which made me feel very comfortable. I especially want to thank to my doctor, Ms Adriana Hache who took care of me very well. She answered all my questions. She explained me my situation without making me more scared, she calmed me down, she was extremely gentle and friendly. I am very thankful and feel blessed that I was taken care by her. And last of all, it was 1/3 price of the other places that I called. I hope I won't have to come back, but I definitely suggest this facility. Thank you all.

Good Evening, I want…read moreto share the experience that I had tonight at Diligent Urgent Care. First of all, I took my daughter about a week ago and I was very happy with the place. So now that I had to take my son to the doctor because he was very congested, I decided to take him in to you. Before going, I called at 6:20pm to ask if I was able to take my 8 month old that was very congested and the lady said yes. I immediately went and I waited outside while it was about to rain. At 8:23pm, one of the other ladies finally approached me to ask me why I was there. I told her that I was bringing him in because he was very congested. She then said, "Oh, I thought that it was for you!" Why would I be with a stroller outside in the cold about to rain if it was for me? Obviously, I had a baby that I needed taken care of. She then responded with, "Do you have a pediatrician?" Really? Is that even a question? Why are you guys even there? I do have a pediatrician and if it wasn't because she's out, I wouldn't be taking my babies to an urgent care. I would just go to their doctor. I find it to be extremely unprofessional and lack of care! The lady that answered the call should've told me that that person was leaving at a certain time so that I don't waste my time going and waiting on line in the cold with a sick baby for over an hour. It's just so easy for them to say no... Lady approaching the line and focusing on last customer just because they want to leave work at a certain time should've seen that I had a stroller and made sure to approach me since the beginning to let me know that pediatrician was leaving or made it a point to let me in before the pediatrician left as he was the only baby on line! I would review the staff members that you have as the other guy at the front desk was just leaning back on his chair! I'm sure there's a lot more to be done than to just be leaning on his chair! I hope you take this feedback into consideration! I'll definitely not be coming back!

TURNED AWAY -- No equipment for basic care…read more On April 26th I called ahead to confirm PromptMD Hoboken was open and accepting patients. I arrived with my daughter who had glass embedded in her finger from a broken screen protector. She was in pain and upset. We were told the facility did not have the equipment necessary to remove glass from a wound. We were turned away without any treatment. I was shocked. Removing a small foreign object from a finger is about as basic as urgent care gets. Their own website says they are "dedicated to providing swift and effective treatment for a wide range of urgent medical needs for patients of all ages." I had to take my distressed child to another facility and pay $250 out of pocket. I sent a formal letter requesting reimbursement, followed up directly with the CEO by email, and received no response to either communication in 14 days. I am sharing this so other families in Hoboken know to confirm not just that a facility is open -- but that they actually have the basic equipment to treat you when you get there.

Reasonable waiting time.  Saw Dr Islam, in whom I have the highest level of confidence.

I will note that I am a black woman, and I am also a medical professional who has worked in the urgent care setting as a provider. My first experience was fine. I walked in after a virtual consultation, checked in by a nice lady, and was tested. The PA, Theresa, came in and stood at the door to bark at me if I had any questions and I had none. Received my results rapidly. A mediocre experience. My second experience was great. I walked in after a virtual consultation and was tested. The MA I had, who I regret not remembering her name gave me the best COVID tests I've ever had. She counted down and made the experience almost enjoyable, and provided tissues before and after the test for my comfort. I received my results rapidly and was pleased with my experience. My third experience, which happened this past weekend was atrocious. I had a virtual visit with a PA who was over an hour late to the appointment -- I called the actual site and they told me to leave the appointment site and they would have someone reach out to me in 30 minutes. The PA then called me and went through the questions and she requested I be seen in person and that I can do that at the clinic when I arrived for my test, fine. I walked in during my scheduled appointment time and was greeted by another patient sitting in the lobby who asked me for my information. I was perplexed and turned to the actual front desk reception who said nothing but took down my information. Fine. I sat and waited to be called. As I waited, another receptionist came in and yelled "Ma'am" multiple times into the waiting room until I looked up from my seat, startled, and decided to check me in. I explained that I had already been checked in and she left me alone. I was soon called to the back. I was seated and given no instructions in the chair -- which is fine because I had been here before. Soon, the same PA from my initial visit, Theresa, came in and yelled at me from the door, demanding to know if I was a virtual visit. I explained that the provider from my virtual consultation had asked that I be seen for my symptoms. She continued to yell at me from the door saying that doesn't happen here and then eventually left without saying anything. I was stunned as I sat there. A little bit later, Todd, the MA, came in and started asking me questions. He asked me what I do for work and I explained that I was in the medical profession. After he was done taking my vitals, he said he would be collecting my specimen for COVID 19. I was shocked as I there was no explanation or confirmation from Theresa, and asked if she was coming back first. He said she would but he needed to collect the specimen first. Fine. He collected the specimen with no introduction or preparation for the patient. He did it twice in the same nostril and did not stay in for 10 seconds. At the end, he left. As he was leaving, my nose started to bleed very profusely from the attack and as I had no tissues or anything to stop the bleeding. As such, I bled over my shirt and eventually found gauze in the room. At this point, another PA, entered the room, asked if I was the "NP" very condescendingly and saw that I was distraught and bleeding. He provided me with more gauze and made excuses for Todd saying that they never provided tissues for patients, which was a bold faced lie because, as I mentioned, I had been here previously and was provided said tissues. At this point, I was so fed up with my experience that I asked to leave and my results be uploaded to the portal. I was crying and very upset. I have never been treated this way before at a health care institution and I know for a fact that others have been as well, just looking at these reviews and my partner's experience. Needless to say, I will never come back here as this was an abusive and terrifying experience.
