Croma's real positive point is that it serves up good Italian food: a variation from the usual…read moretired Pizza Express/ Pizza Hut menu. And it really is good value for money. We are talking £6 or £7 for most of the main courses with desserts still at the standard almost £4 or above price. Its a good alternative to the chain restaurants that you see everywhere without actually being too strikingly different. The atmosphere is good in the evenings as it caters well for groups. The waiters don't rush you through your dinner too much which you sometimes get at lower priced restaurants. As with everything else, the food won't blow your mind but its good enough to make you go back: I'd recommend the Duck Salad which comes with their delicious dough balls plus croutons. My sister and I have learnt to ask for the sweet chilli jam on the side as less is definitely more. Croma is good for get togethers with friends on a budget, not necessarily for big occassions. I wouldn't dress up too much to go to Croma.

Full marks from me. Prestwich has been crying out for a place like this for a while so full credit…read moreto Croma for moving the business into The Radius building. The fact that it's full every night over the weekend proves just how good this place is and priced perfectly. The interior is great and the staff is friendly and the service has been good on the whole. Sure we have had the odd problem when it's been packed out but nothing too serious so to ruin a night out. I usually go for the Garlic Prawn starter which can be a little hit and miss but the for main there is only one dish I go for - The Anatra pizza - peking duck, plum and hoi-sin sauce, spring onions, cucumber, mozzarella and fresh coriander (no tomato). Has to be one of my favourite dishes ever!

This is quite a nice Pizza Express store, located in a small run of shops in Pretswich, parking…read morehere is just outside the store and they is no designated spaces, It isn't even worth trying to park in the "car park" as I was forced to move my car by a man who tried to get me a table at another restaurant, before I had even got out of a car, which was pushy, shown desperation on Saporito's part, although I'm pleased to admit, it had nothing to do with Pizza Express, and I even talked about my server here about that, and she told me it is a common complaint. Now back to Pizza Express, this is a nice branch and they even let me use my Tastecard for a takeaway order, by putting me at a table, which was easy enough to do, but it was good to see the manager approved it. My food was quite nice for both the pizza base and toppings, although the base was really oily so by the time I got to the car, after not holding my pizza straight, all the toppings had rolled off. They also were unable to cut my pizza due to it being gluten free, I understand this but normally other branches of Pizza Express and rival chains would find something for me, but I understand it is a cross-contamination issue. This is a nice branch of Pizza Express, the staff here seemed good, but I was still dissapointed with the situation with the restaurant next store and parking nonetheless, while considering some issues with the pizza, I feel this store deserves a solid 3 star rating, but is probably on the lower end of the 3 star scale.

Crazy Pedro's! I'd only heard about this before but never really got chance to look into it. Looked…read moreonline and saw that there's now two branches, so thought I'd pop into the Northern Quarter branch, which was a little tricky to find, but is basically nestled behind Affleck's, next door to Dive. Their decoration seems to be this weird quirky blue guy... is this Crazy Pedro? Lives up to his name anyway from what I can see. But moving on. You enter down some stairs into a basement space, which is dark, modern, and very Northern Quarter, right down to recycled aluminium lighting and filament light bulbs against bare brick. I like the colourful artwork though, and the music posters on the ceiling. It also has pinball machines, which is always a plus. It has a nice atmosphere too, friends meeting up to laugh and chat over big ol' pizzas, nachos, cocktails, and beer. As we enter, a friendly staff member at the bar welcomes us and lets us choose from the menu, giving us some advice on the pizzas, and when we decide we want to share a pizza, he lets us know that we can even have half-and-half on a pizza, so we can try a couple of options. Great idea. What's even better is that we appear to have arrived during Happy Hour, meaning a 16 inch freshly made pizza was only £10! Bargain! We opted for half pepperoni (classic!) and half The Cuban. Both arrived in decent time, and were hot, fresh and tasty. I particularly liked that the base tasted toasted, and wasn't soggy in the middle with the toppings sliding off into a fatty pile or anything like you tend to get with a lot of pizza places. The pepperoni was great, can't fault it, but The Cuban was really REALLY good! Ham, roast pork, Swiss cheese, pickles (gherkin slices) and mustard, and it was perfect. It wasn't greasy, it was full of flavour, and all the flavours worked together really well. I would DEFINITELY order this again! So although it was a fleeting visit, I was really impressed. Good atmosphere, friendly staff, surprisingly good prices for the Northern Quarter, and damn good quality pizza! Go! Go now!

Definitely a fun twist on pizza. The KFC was an unexpected delight. Light but flavorful…read more Cocktails were a bit small but that's my American speaking. Price was very reasonable. Service was polite and quick. Has a young, after work, hip dive bar vibe. Great place to meet up with friends.
