Ms Norma is prompt, helpful, polite and a smooth driver. So smooth she lulled our one year old to sleep (who hates sleeping in a car). She picked us up at 3am with smiles and positivity. She is extremely receptive to any of your needs if you want a quiet ride etc. Her vehicle is extremely spacious and clean, she has water there for you as well as reading materials. The seat reclines if you fancy a snooze. There was even an accident that happened right in front of us and she avoided it with ease and handled it amazingly. To the Amtrak from Providence to NY this weekend. The price was fantastic $50 roundtrip, and $40…read moreround trip to reserve a bike spot. It should be noted that there is only on bike rack per car and a total of 4. They do t lock. So if you are traveling in a group and want to be near your bike you won't be able to sit together. That being said it's a great way to travel into the city. My only complaint is with communication when there are delays. My return train was delayed 2.5 hours but we had no information about when or if the train would arrive. Even if they said we aren't sure when it will arrive but we will let you know as soon as we know, that would help. I also took Amtrak to DC from Providence in October. It was great and delay free. It would be nice if the bike cars could hold 2 bikes.
