The church itself is pretty small compared to what I'm used to, but it worked for remembering who had passed away. They didn't have a pastor or priest speak, they left it up to the family to do what they wanted, and they just had friends and family say prayers and tell stories. A really nice and simple way to celebrate his life. The reception was down the hall in the same place. Tables set up all around and plenty of food for everyone who attended. Sandwiches, salads, veggies and fruits with cookies and a variety of drinks.

Congregants here, staff, and the ones who claim to to raised up by this ministry in the word are more like moral perfectionist than saved Christians..That's a pecking order largely constructed by a gradi g scale based on how much you sin, not how much your forgiven. Religious, and religion is man trying to make himself credible by how much others sin compared to his sin. I'm not the type who would fit in, theres to much emphasis on moral discipline being requisite I stead of the inward transformation that God does by the power that reconciles all things to the Father through Jesus Christ.. He is authentic, enthusiastic, and genuinely interested in inspiring every person who attends. The church has services and events that appeal to people who are moved by modern, innovative spiritual experiences as well as to those who like a traditional service. I enjoy the music in both types of services. The congregation is very friendly, warm, and welcoming. Becoming a part of this church community has been a true blessing for my family. Since approximately 6 months prior to Covid, I became a regular attending visitor. During all that time I have always had nothing but the most wonderful of in-person interactions with it's staff and members. When interacting with them as a 12 step representative, the staff have always gone out of their way to provide my group with anything and everything that we need to make the meeting go forward and succeed. As just a visitor, they (Staff and Members) always make be feel welcome and as part of the family. Never once have I heard any negativity within the wall of this wonderful Church. As a member of my 12 step group, I speak for the meeting, by saying that we (the meeting) are extremely appreciative of everything that Woodland Hills Presbyterian Church has done for us. Without having this Church as our meeting location, I, many time wonder where some of my friends would be today if they didn't have our meeting to attend for sobriety and support. I sat down and heard a powerful message delivered by Pastor David. The Garden's production and stage is also top notch. God is truly working at The Garden Church and you will feel him there.
