I deliberately sought out this practice specifically to continue care with my former dentist, Dr…read more Tubio, whom I have trusted for years and is truly the best dentist I've ever had. I was not looking for a new dental office or a new provider. I was trying to maintain continuity of care with a clinician I already knew and valued. I am deeply disappointed that I am no longer able to continue care with her because of the way this clinic operates. The online intake process required completion of multiple mandatory questions that were not related to dental care or medical history. These included requests for my social media handle (with the stated purpose of tagging patients online), questions about hobbies and personal life experiences, and whether I wanted the office to pray for me. These questions were not *optional* and had to be completed in order to proceed. In my view, this type of intake process is inappropriate for a healthcare setting. Requiring patients to provide social media information for public tagging and including religious or prayer-based questions as mandatory intake items crosses professional boundaries and raises serious concerns regarding patient privacy, consent, and professional neutrality in a healthcare environment. Patients should not be required to provide personal, social, or religious information unrelated to their care in order to access dental treatment. Because of this experience, I chose not to proceed with care and canceled my appointment. Intake practices of this nature may warrant review by appropriate oversight or professional regulatory bodies to ensure they align with expected standards of patient privacy and healthcare professionalism. Based on this experience alone, I would encourage other patients to carefully consider whether this practice's approach to intake, privacy, and boundaries aligns with their expectations before scheduling.

Be sure to look closely at your billing at this practice. The billing department is not honest. I…read morewent to this practice to get four small clips replaced in my denture. Halfway through the procedure the billing department came in and told me the cost would be $1,376.00 (I later bought these on line for $11.00 for five). When I questioned this I was told I paid more the last time I had it done. Additionally I was charged a surcharge because I had to use a credit card. No where in the office does it say a surcharge would be added if you used a credit card. After I left the practice I got to thinking about the charge. I then realized that I never had the clips replaced before - lie #1. Additionally I researched the code they used D6091. This was the repair or replacement of the metal abutment attached to the implants not the clips holding the denture to the abutment- lie #2. Also this procedure was to have been completed by a dentist - it was not. After they billed my insurance company and received reimbursement they decided to take out an additional $49.00 charge for a "limited oral exam". No one at any time examined me - lie #3. I wrote a detailed letter to Dr. Yoon explaining this and requested a call back. Billing called me when THEY received the letter and told me they didn't understand it. I again explained my concern. They said they would get back to me - they never did. I then hand delivered the letter to the practice and told the front desk to hand the letter to Dr. Yoon personally. This has been a couple of weeks ago when I went in for a cleaning. By the way Dorothy the hygentist no longer works there. After the cleaning I was told what my payment would be, I paid it and then they handed me the billing statement. My fault I didn't look at it until I got home and I noticed the cleaning had doubled in price from what I have been paying over the last couple of years and there were two charges for a procedure that was never done. I have been going to this practice for many years, but if you look at other reviews lately they have not been good. Service has definitely gone down hill and I agree with another reviewer - they are money grabbers. Make your own choice in selecting a dentist but use caution if you consider Cape Vista. By the way I don't know why my address says San Francisco - I live in Deltona

Due to the less than 12 hours notice I accommodated my schedule for this said interview. I researched the mission and values and presented myself on time except the interviewer never arrived. When Lyle messaged me via Indeed there was a message stating "Love to speak with on the phone" verbatim. I wasn't provided a response why the interview didn't happen. I called the business line on the 15th as well and didn't hear anything back. I also messaged Lyle via Indeed during the time slot of the interview. I wasn't allowed to compete for the position and my credentials were more than what the job posting required. I'm a human being!!! I deserved the professional courtesy of a reason for the short notice interview and why it never occurred.
