So, I went to the store to cancel and order something online that would be quick. I told the associate why I needed to cancel....his reply..."Not a problem." I told him I needed something now that I could take home that day. I looked around and found exactly what I needed. I was able to purchase it then and load it up! It's perfect. I stopped in a few weeks later to thank them. I will shop there in a second if I need anything more.

We were told it would take "a few months" to complete the order, since most of it was a custom order, and we could expect delivery in Jan 2020. We left with excited anticipation. Unfortunately, that was short-lived. Granted, this past year has been difficult for everyone, but it's been like pulling teeth with this vendor - especially Robin Harris. Martha (another employee) has attempted to be helpful; however, phone calls are not answered, and voicemails are not returned as a general rule (by either of them). We have been told on no less than a dozen occasions over the past year (when we WERE able to contact someone) that our order would be ready by a certain date - only to subsequently be told it would "take a few more weeks". Repeated attempts to have our order finalized have fallen on deaf ears (we STILL do not have the arm covers as agreed to, which were specifically requested as part of our order). We have been very patient, but our patience has about run out with Home Comfort Gallery in Troy. It has been over a year since we placed our order, and the order has been fully paid off. I would definitely NOT recommend shopping at Home Comfort Gallery in Troy, OH. It's all about the sale, but follow-up customer service is extremely lacking (to say the least). As a result of the extremely poor customer service we've received, and items that were paid for but not delivered, we will be turning this matter over to the OH Attorneys General for investigation, and will be filing a grievance with the BBB for this company's deceptive business practices. BEWARE!

I placed an order (from The Bernie Store) over two weeks ago and it still hasn't shipped…read more Notably, the shipping (for a shirt, hat, and lawn sign) was $20. I first contacted customer service 8 days after I submitted my order, and did not hear anything in response. I emailed again about 3 weeks from my order date, and was given a generic response stating that some items were back-ordered and that I would be notified when my order ships. None of the items I had ordered were listed as out of inventory - neither in the email nor on the Bernie shop. This is despite the fact that it states on Bernie's FAQ that all items that are out of stock will be listed as such. I asked for an update on the status of my items, and was again given a canned answer without any estimated timeframe or apology. I then asked for a refund on my shipping ($20 for 3+ weeks processing time is outright criminal) and was told that shipping is never refunded. I have asked for a complete refund and will not do business with this company again.

No cursory apology or even acknowledgement that when you hand over your money, it's fair to expect that you'll get what you paid for within a reasonable time frame, or at least an update that the initial time has changed. They don't make it easy to cancel orders either, so buy at your own risk.
