So, I went to the store to cancel and order something online that would be quick. I told the associate why I needed to cancel....his reply..."Not a problem." I told him I needed something now that I could take home that day. I looked around and found exactly what I needed. I was able to purchase it then and load it up! It's perfect. I stopped in a few weeks later to thank them. I will shop there in a second if I need anything more.

However, they also had an almost new GE gas range top. Perfect for doing my beer brewing. And the price was 1/3 what I saw for clearance at the big box stores. They have lots of things to pick from but be careful and select cautiously. And pay attention to the price.

They are under new ownership and have recently doubled their store space by making over the adjacent building. Here's an example of my experiences here: my wife bought a new microwave oven at an auction. We brought it home, took it out of the box, plugged it in and nothing. I took the cover off and discovered a blown fuse. I took the fuse to True Value and they said it was most likely a defective fuse rather than a problem with the microwave. They had a new fuse and when I plugged it in it worked just fine. They also rent equipment and when I've rented things they have all worked fine - like new. True Value - you get an A+! I'm so glad your in Troy!

I agreed and he said he'd write up the invoice and call me back to get payment and arrange delivery. He called back and said it going to be $625. I said we'd agreed on $500 and he said he didn't have a calculator when he quoted me. I asked him to honor his quote and he told me no, it was his mistake but it would be $625. Spoke with Les's boss this morning, which also happens to be his wife and she said that she would not honor the $500 price, Les wasn't authorized to offer that, then tried to say I must of heard wrong, and ended with saying she didn't want my business.
