Pratima is amazing! She is highly intuitive, very gentle, open, and gives you exactly the medicine you need when you need it. There have even been times when she received messages for herself because of working on or through me - I find those moments very special. Nothing like a group hug!! I have been seeing Pratima since January. I started with an intro session gifted to me by my wife to help heal an injury. I knew nothing about Reiki, as I'm new to the metaphysical world, and was taught early in life to view such things as "woo-woo." But acknowledging Reiki as a true science - rather than something mystical - has changed everything for me. Since that first session, I've now attended five additional sessions, going every two weeks, and I can honestly say: I feel amazing. While the injury is still present, it no longer interferes with yoga poses, and I can feel it healing. It turns out it was an energetic tear. Once Pratima explained that and worked her Reiki, I was able to release the pain and trauma surrounding it - something I understood instantly, even though I couldn't have put it into words before. Keep in mind, I had been carrying this injury for years before finally deciding to get treatment. I've now reduced my sessions to once a month as I supplement healing at home with meditation and crystal bowls. But Pratima will remain in my life throughout this year without question. So what is Reiki? This question always came into my mind once in a while. I had heard about it from my friend 10-15 years back that you can heal a person without even touching or being close to him/her and this idea blew my mind away. I never really tried to find out about it back then until I heard about it from few folks couple of months back. I know Pratima from work and her personality has always attracted me. She is so humble, soft spoken and kind hearted at the same time she is a professional and a perfectionist !!! When she decided to leave work and pursue something of her own i didn't knew that it was Reiki until I saw her post. This time I really wanted to find out and try it for my mother in law who is visiting us from India. I had heard about Reiki healing through a couple of friends of mine and that is how I found PS Reiki. I am not going to lie, I came into my first session very apprehensive and not knowing what to expect. Pratima was very welcoming and explained the background of Reiki. When we started I was still nervous and tense but about 10 minutes in to the healing everything changed. The feeling is so hard to explain but I suddenly felt so relaxed and felt like the weight was being lifted off. There were some areas that I could feel the energy more than others, almost like something was being tugged and pulled then removed. At the end Pratima explained what she felt and what she saw which was all accurate, she knew things that I hadn't discussed nor disclosed to her. Those areas that I could feel the energy being lifted were the areas that she pointed out that needed more balancing! The most wildest thing is that I hadn't told her what I was feeling during the session but she knew those were my problem areas!! She provided me guidance on what I can do to help myself in those areas. Two weeks ago today I chose to show up for myself and take a little visit to see Pratima for my first Reiki / Chakra balancing appointment. I just had my very first Reiki experience with Pratima at PS Reiki and I will definitely be coming back for a continuous regimen. Pratima started the session by explaining the process and some background on Reiki. She made sure I was comfortable and answered any questions I had. She also took the time to talk through my concerns emotionally, mentally and physically before starting. The session itself was incredible. Reiki was calling my name and my first experience with Pratima went way above my expectations. I did a lot of research on how to find the best practitioner and will say that Pratima's positive and healing energy is infectious and immediate. Reiki was a foreign concept to me until I got an opportunity to have a session with Pratima. She was calm yet very powerful. I was little anxious before the session, based on the fact that I didn't know much about it. Pratima made me feel very comfortable in no time and explained everything in detail. Pratima is awesome. I wasn't really sure what to expect but have been focusing on improving my spiritual health and looking into different things to try. I stumbled into reiki and while I don't know much about it, my experiences have been really great. I've been doing my own chakra work and when I had my first session w/Pratima she brought attention to areas I knew I had issues in. I could definitely "feel" the energy and Pratima had some great follow up recommendations to help reinforce areas she worked on. Pratima is a powerful Reiki practitioner- I knew it from the moment we began our session. She started off with a guided meditation that allowed my body to instantly feel at ease and safe in the environment. I'm new to reiki and see Pratima now about once a week. Her and her studio always make me feel calm, comfortable and relaxed. I always look forward to our sessions as each time is a different experience. Had my first reiki session with Pratima. Not knowing what to expect of reiki, she took the time to explain in detail. The room was beautifully decorated and had a calming effect on its own. Pratima is awesome! I was getting help from several doctors for my chronic fatigue and had extremely low levels of energy. I have been out of work on medical leave because of my condition. A friend suggested that maybe I try Reiki because she has heard that it can be effective in addition to conventional medicine. I'm so glad that I was open minded and did my research. Pratima is very caring and skilled. She helped me considerably after a long stay in hospital and surgery. My back was killing me from the long stay in bed and I was experiencing stress and body pain beyond the surgical recovery. One session allowed enough release for the back pain to decrease immensely and energy to increase so I could get restful healing sleep and stand up mostly straight. The second session had less dramatic results but my strength and energy increased even more within hours. I need a second surgery to finish off this particular issue and I plan for n getting at least two post surgery sessions when that occurs. read more

This was my first Reiki session and it was truly an amazing experience! Pratima has a wonderful gift and I walked away from the session feeling more energized than I have felt for the past two years.
