I do not recommend him at al for women because he doesn't listen to a word they have to say. Dr Weisz was very kind but also useless for my situation. They should have recognized the signs, kicked my ex out of my appointments, and helped me divorce him and protect my children. read more

If I could give 100 stars, I would! My plan is under Kaiser, but when I needed a therapist, Kaiser connected me to there third party partners. I am glad PAWC is one of them. I am dealing with postpartum depression. I am so glad I got connected with Cristina Cremo! I felt low, sad and hopeless that I wouldn't find a therapist that could help me get through my situation. I feel like PPD is a taboo topic and I felt ashamed and in denial that I was going through it. Cristina helped me understand what is going on with my thought process, gave me techniques on how to deal with my panic attacks/anxiety and gave me pointers on how I can sleep better. If you have money and don't rely on medi cal , you are likely to be treated alright . The ratings from their SF site are 2 3 and from medi cal relients tell the story of those who are must vulnerable, often most in need and easily mistreated . Powe. Abuse, Disregard and Disgard characterize my experience and those similarly situated . I saw Dr Ezra for an initial consult , not represented to me as such . She made it through less than half of an assessment then my phone cut out two minutes before the end of the session. The auto generated appointment reminder never came and she never informed the admin she was cancelling or terminating or they forgot to document it. I emailed her and she told me " as it turns out, I won't be seeing you " I asked why and she said "there were multiple cancellations due to scheduling conflicts" .Either she was lying, out of some guilt and responsibility for terminating for no reason or she and admin deem it ok to jerk around vulnerable populations . The gatekeepers , particularly the person who called herself the manager of admin though another individual is listed under that title ought not to be making clinical decisions about access without the benefit of a clinical degree PAWC formally stated it doesn't take clients with my diagnosis I have read reviews of other victims of their clinical abuse who eye declined for a different diagnosis . Please contact all oversight bodies including LICENSING. I am also interested in the possibility of a class action for emotional distress. Under the tires if medical malpractice and IIED I think an organization like Protection and Advocacy or Disability Rights Associates might take it If you are unfairly treated or psychologically harned by clinical abuse at PAWC please contact me and I will help organize a legal response . I don't know if it's because I'm on Medical or I'm disabled, but I really wasn't treated respectfully or fairly when just trying to make an appointment with this clinic. I was told that the psychiatrists at the location where only seeing patients via tele-health, to which I said_I can't do that I'm visually disabled. What was funny was that the person on the other end of the line gave me this spiel about I should just get back to them when my issue gets better or changes. To which I said, "I'm disabled, my situation isn't going to change!" I really don't get any enjoyment out of writing this. But why take my insurance if you're not going to see me or try to make it difficult to see me as others have noted? Just don't take the insurance and I won't call you-problem solved. Also, they really need to train their staff on how to talk to people, at least disabled people, with some modicum of respect and understanding since I do know work arounds for using zoom. But it just felt like they where just looking for a reason to not treat me. It shouldn't be the case that you need to have money, good insurance, or not be disabled in order to get the mental health care you need. Shame on this business. read more

This review is for the company and administrative staff and not the therapists. Bureaucratic and inflexible organization. Absolutely zero tolerance for missed video appointments, even if it's your first. And then they gate keep any further treatment, if you don't pay the missed appt. fee. They also attempt to "screen-out" for certain disorders upon intake which feels discriminatory and lacks the understanding that people don't always fit neatly into diagnostic boxes. Anyone with mental health training knows there is often often overlap of diagnoses. Gave me a bad feeling from the beginning. All the 5 star reviews are suspect too. Often a red flag. read more

My experience with Dr. Hirchak and team has been easy and seamless. I was a little thrown by the virtual meeting default, but it allowed me to take the meeting it in my own home without having to factor in commute time. The admin intake process was very thorough and smooth and they felt well informed. My meeting with Dr. Hirchak was also very thorough and I appreciated how he took the time to explain the different medication options, his recommendation and why. Outstanding experience so far! Working with the 'Intake' team during the on boarding process has been nothing but friendly and smooth (thank you Hayong L). My initial sessions with Dr. Elswick has been fantastic, informative, and extremely productive. Also, working with the 'Established Patient' admin team the entire time has been truly amazing (especially Alisha L, absolute 10/10!) Of course, there are bound to be hiccups here or there with various pharmacies or insurance, but the entire team here has helped me quickly troubleshoot through anything that comes up with minimal back and forth with top notch communication. But, Dr Su has helped me so much to get off some meds that were not helpful, and to add one that is. The office staff Is also very nice to deal with. They are prompt in responding. I needed to find a therapist and didn't know where to turn. PAWC kept coming up in my choices under my plan so I decided to give it a try. Ms. Dominguez-Mucciaccio was great in doing our intake which was very through and thoughtful for my situation. I haven't really done online therapy, I admit I was skeptical on how effective online can be since I have taught online classes. I wasn't a fan with teaching online myself. Kristine Cruz has been my therapist for about 9 months. She is not my first therapist (there have been several over the years) but she is definitely the BEST therapist I've ever worked with. She is insightful, intuitive, professional and brilliant. She is an amazing listener and she does the thing that I value MOST from a therapeutic relationship: she sees the underlying patterns in my difficult relationships, or difficult thoughts or feelings and she conveys them back to me (gently, lovingly) so that I, too, see the connections.
