We were able to see various kinds of jelly fish from up close which was a unique experience. They have different jelly fish tanks with descriptions of where they can be found in the world and how they are. There were a lot of kids running around and screaming so it was hard to have a conversation with my fiancee. There was no restraint and kids were able to be kids. The whole walk through was short. The place seemed decent size from the outside but even with us talking our time, we were finished in half an hour. Based on how cool the whole experience was we would definitely visit again in the future with our nieces and nephews. The place offers limited parking so it's a bit inconvenient, but as I have shared, the experience is quick so you choose to wait.

I had made a list of things/activities for us to do while she was here and I put Xtreme Action Park on the list. Honestly, I did not think anyone would want to go. But, we woke up one day and decided to just hop over there because it wasn't far from our house. It was around noon on a Wednesday and we almost had the place all to ourselves! When we walked in, we were astonished at how huge this place was! It has indoor go kart racing and I'm not talking the slow, kiddie ones either! These go karts went very fast and it was a very large and curvy track. They also had a huge skating rink, an entire 18 hole, miniature golf room, a huge trampoline room, an obstacle course that hung from the ceiling, virtual reality games and experiences, a ton of standard arcade games as well as a restaurant and bar. (they had so much that I'm probably forgetting something important!) We had the time of our lives! We killed zombies and road motorcycles and battled pirates, laughing, screaming, and yelling the entire time like three little kids. We stopped for a while and went to the bar and ordered nachos and Mojitos. The nachos were delicious (they were actually the best nachos I ever had! ) and they made a special Mojito that was also very good. After we ate and had a couple of drinks, we went back to playing arcade games. Before we got a chance to even do anything else we realized we had been there for five hours! By the time we left, it was getting very busy and we were exhausted but on top of the world. We had so much fun running around that place, each of us addicted to a different arcade game. We left with credits still on our cards so I am going back soon. Regardless of how old you are, put this on your list of things you want to check out because I promise, you won't regret it.

Free parking is provided in the Gateway Shopping Center with a two minute walk at which time we got a chance to gaze at the customers in creepy costumes and some were decked out in Rocky Horror theme. The 75 year old Gateway theatre still has it's name above the illuminated movie marquee, although has recently been sold and operates under the Paradigm Cinema banner. The interior lobby still has that 1950s ambiance with the vintage framed poster of the Rocky Horror red lips hanging on the center wall to excite every customer. For $5.00, the staff provided movie prop bags of popcorn, squirt guns, party hats, elastic glove, party popper, and a sheet of newspaper (these are all items that encourage the guests to be interactive during the film). A verbal disclaimer was issued at the beginning of the night alerting everyone that if you are easily offended and in fear of getting wet then "Get the F**k out !" This alone confirmed that this was going to be a night to remember. The sold out theatre has general seating with a large stage in front of the screen and recently upgraded with plush recliner seating. The first thirty minutes was dedicated to teach the Rocky Horror virgins the rules of the night including a costume contest. The underrated culturally integrated film was entertaining with the ability to throw popcorn, squirt people with water and the added motivation to dance in the aisles while methodically singing along to the freaky sexually descriptive songs in the film. Perfect theatre to host this legendary event.

The Rocky show was a special event but I will come back to this theatre to watch the new Springsteen movie.

They did an over haul of this theater and I'm not sure if it's for the better.Sometimes leaving history alone is where it should be.
