I had a friend that I was supporting at a local market that this store hosted a few months ago. There was a stray cat that was very sick and needing a home and the owner actually rescued the cat. When you go inside this store you will see the cat that they named Mystik This is totally the kind of establishment I enjoy supporting when I hear or see stories like this!! I have a friend going through some personal stuff and I've always believed in certain "powers that be", but to be honest, I really don't know much about crystals, or energy, or anything really of the new age world. Other than simple Googling on the topic, I know very little, but I decided to give Mystik Sisters a go because I figured if nothing else I could look around and see what they've got. Located on Dixie Highway, the entrance is in the back and they have their own small parking lot in the back. It's the big purple door, the entrance is, and once you're inside you're transported into this serine and tranquil place and I immediately felt the love in the room. I was greeted instantly with many smiling faces offering me assistance right as I stepped inside. Again, sort of embarrassed of my lack of knowledge I just kind of wanted to look around. I know I needed some sage, but maybe I'd get something else too? The store is set up in a bunch of different, small, rooms. Lots of incense, stones, gems, jewels, books, and candles. Most things I thought were pretty reasonably priced. Candles for a couple of bucks and stones for the same. Everything pretty much labeled with their meaning/power/purpose which helped a novice like me know what I needed to buy. Listening to the people talking, it sounds like they do certain classes there too, which I'd say you'd have to reach out to them about because I have no clue any additional details other than that. It was a great experience. I loved the store, the staff, and pretty much everything about this place. I'll have to start doing some more research on the powers of certain crystals and get myself back there soon. read more

Such a beautiful shop with an even more beautiful energy. This was my first time here and I decided to make a quick visit before work, since it's nearby. I'm so glad I did! They had an abundance of crystals and stones, which is what I came in for. And I appreciated the fact that they had little description cards you could take with your crystal. They also had really great prices! I love this store. It is tucked away off of the street so go to the back where there is plenty of parking. Go through the purple door and that is where the magic happens. Beautiful place to peruse and lose yourself in mystic energy. I have been frequenting this store for several years and was elated to find that they had expanded with a new room chock full of goodies. I picked up a Rider-Waite-Smith Tarot deck (yes, credit to Pamela Smith for the gorgeous artwork on these cards done in 1909) because I had to have the gold standard of Tarot decks. I had bought the Morgan Greer Tarot deck because of its gorgeous colors and artwork, but still craved the original deck to learn from also. I digress! Go visit the sisters for a fine selection of all things metaphysical and witchy and groovy. Chances are that you'll not leave empty handed. read more

I've been driving past this place since I moved here and I've been waiting for the day when I would have time to stop in. In Los Angeles I spent a lot of time in the occult shops and I was thrilled to see there was one here and very close to home. I have been known to spend entire paychecks at these places. I had plenty of time to shop so I drove around to the parking in the back and went inside. The shop is much larger than it appears from the outside, and the windows don't do it justice. They actually have quite a bit more than you would expect to see. One of the small side rooms isn't very helpful with the way it's set up but the majority of the shop is very well laid out, extremely clean and quite well stocked. The reason I only give it two stars is because of their prices. They are way over-priced. I pulled up the sites of several other shops selling similar merchandise and I found items for as much as 40% lower than Mystik Sisters. I don't see any reason to over-charge customers. Prices need to be reasonable and fair and at this shop, they simply are not. They are too high. If they would reduce their prices, this would be a great shop. It would probably also be more profitable, as they would sell more merchandise. As it is now, I'll go elsewhere. read more

This place has great energy. The owners are extremely friendly and treat you like family. The store has many different sections of a large variety of items that are very fairly priced. Also, the tarot reading is one of the better priced places I've seen $20/reading, and it lasted a long time. I'm not sure if I believe in tarot readings but it was a pleasant experience. If you are into crystals, reiki, readings, etc., you will appreciate this place. Note: the entrance is at the back of the lot (not the entrance facing Dixie Highway. read more

This little hippie went to market... I have to say that the store front does not do this space justice, so do not judge a book by it's cover and take the time to come in here. Parking is not on Dixie, rather you have to go around to the parking lot that faces the street running parallel on the west of Dixie, but at least parking is FREE! (since both Broward and Dade seem to want to charge for parking everywhere nowadays, yes that's a big deal to me. ::end rant::) The moment you step inside Mystik Sisters, you immediately feel transported to a much more tranquil spot than you would find just off Dixie Highway. The lavender walls immediately soothe, and the very gracious and courteous staff offered me a complimentary bottle of water, much needed during these scorching Florida days. They carry crystals, both large and small, candles, incense, statues, herbs, jewelry, books and more, very fairly priced and methodically organized. I unfortunately did not have a lot of time on the day I came to visit, but I luckily found exactly what I was looking for and rather quickly as well. I most definitely plan on returning soon, especially to check out the Wednesday reiki by donation. My little hippie heart is quite happy to have found this 'gem'! read more

I absolutely fell in love with this place. I had visited months back was so suprised when I entered. I was greeted both times by a friendly face and a ice cold bottle of water. Nice touch!! Each room is layed out appropriately to a theme. I was introduced initially by a fellow yelper, who turned me on to crystals and their energies. This place is very user friendly and you don't feel your being watched as you browse. This time I brought a friend, who fell in love as well. I love me some mystik sisters. They have redone the store which was awesome to begin with. Their selections of oils, candles, stones and incense are beyond excellent. Their rooms are beautifully set up and the staff is always friendly and helpful. I would like to see a larger selection of tarot and oracle decks and perhaps a larger amount of spiritual jewelry. My favorite thing about this store was the informative packets that they had for their customers!! This place is kinda expensive, but if you need a nice witches broom they have it. There is quite a few loose stones and crystals and they have some hard to find herbal concoctions. Finding the entrance is kinda tricky because it's in the back of the store where there is ample parking. They also do psychic readings and have reiki circles. read more
