I still stand by my review of the Lawlis Peavy PNP. I look back now and still can't believe just how unprofessional these 2 people who were so highly recommended by The Dr. Phil show were! They only added more devastation for a family in crisis and more waisted financial burden! From one loving Parent to the next! Spare you loved one your selves and your financials from this ridiculous recommendation! You will know something isn't adding up as soon as you walk into a very small business/"Dr's Office"! This review is nine years in the making! If you read all my reviews you will find that I am fair AND accurate and try to give every business the benefit of the doubt! Always. Why am I writing this review nine years later before I die?? Because I came across a 20 minute cd which was given to myself and my then fiancé in 2014 by this clinic! She was suffering greatly and her insurance would no heap her because her PCP said her severe pain was psychosomatic! She watched Dr Phil regularly for years AND HE RECOMMENDED THIS CLINIC STRONGLY! Red flag one was they didn't take any insurance at that time. Red flag two was they demanded about $8,800 upfront payment before we could come for the full two day clinic. They represented that could find a solution for us. We were desperate for answers. 56 year old female. I paid the money plus travel and lodging expenses! Nearly $10,000 all told. The service was totally useless and bogus in my opinion. Nothing was resolved! Nothing. They did a few one on one tests and as I remember they did some kind of brainwave scan! It took us another 4 months to even get what appeared to be a generalized bs report with a bunch of nothingness that was useful! I wish that I had paid an outside Dr a specialist a year earlier! The upshot is we finally fought for a change in PCP which WellMed agreed to reluctantly! The new PCP ordered an X-ray and finally got them to agree to do an MRI! Two days later she was diagnosed at 57 with stage 4 non small cell lung cancer!!! If I can save one person from being scammed on like we were then save the $10,000 and go to a cancer specialist even if out of pocket! As I write this, I myself am dying . She died two years later suffering terribly from useless Radiation and chemotherapy poisoning from big PHARMA and big medicine. Shame on Dr Phil and this Dr Peavey! read more

Please listen to every word of the poor reviews. I spent 10k in hopes of finally getting (what I hoped to be) credible help and a diagnosis so that it can be addressed properly. I was told different things while I was there and different things during the 1 hour call after waiting for weeks. It was as if they were looking at the wrong chart. The person assigned to me for follow up, etc. did not get me correct information nor did she know I wanted a diagnosis??? I could not have stated that more times than I did. Again, they did not seem to write anything down or pay attention after the check was cashed. If you want to hear how terrible the hour long, wrap up call is I will share it with you. I recorded it so I could refer back to it. Again, it is as if they were reading the wrong chart and Peavey was rude and condescending. PLEASE TAKE ME UP ON THIS BEFORE YOU SPEND MONEY. I called to inquire if this center would be a good fit for my needs. After answering numerous, detailed question, I was told they would forward my information to the correct personnel & someone would call me the follo day. Four days later, after having received no call from them, I left a message asking if someone would please contact me at their earliest convenience. The following day, I received a call from "Dee, office administrator", stating she was "Gone the previous week", as the reason I wasn't called the "next day", as I was told. She also had received incorrect information, as she thought I called needing help with my Aspergers, which I do not have. I find the fact this pricey center, (that doesn't accept insurance), 1. was unaware the person they told me would be calling me tomorrow, was out of town, & 2. when she did call, (after I my 2nd call, 4 days after hearing nothing from the center), she had such incorrect information, despite the detailed questions & answers I was ask & provide. To make things worse, she was extremely rude & impatient while asking how I hoped the center could help me. She interrupted my numerous attempts to answer her, cutting me off as I was unable to condense my answer into the more 14 minute duration of of the call, prior to her hanging up on me while I continued my attempt to answer. Prior to hanging up on me, she talked over me, saying 'I'm going to send you forms to fill out & I'm going to hang up on you now.' I received the 'forms - the 1st of which detailed their cost & payment policy, the 2nd & 3rd described their practice & what the 2 day "experience" entail, the 3rd was a short Q & A about me, my symptom, why I was seeking help, etc. It took me more time to read these forms than she was willing to provide me when she finally called me. This is more than enough to answer my main question: "Will your facility be able to assess/provide the needs I am hoping for, or am I not a good "fit". 1. Telling me "someone will call me back tomorrow", & failing to do so until I had called & left a follow up VM, 4 days later 2. Calling 5 days later, (as opposed to tomorrow), unapologetically with an unprofessional excuse 3. Calling me with incorrect information, despite the thorough Q & A session 5 days prior 4. Treating me extremely rudely, lacking the time &/or patience to allow me to answer her question without interrupting me, talking over me, & hanging up on me because she was very busy & had other calls to take/make - not having more than 14 minutes to spend on the phone call she chose the time to make, (after I'd apparently wasted 30 minutes of my time on a Q&A session during my initial call). All of the above, followed by forms, 1st & foremost concerning their fees & payment policy are more than enough for me to have decided they are not the right fit for me, nor would I recommend them to anyone. I've read a great deal about Frank Lawlis, his treatments, & facility. Unfortunately, either the people with whom I dealt represent his true facility, or he needs to pay better attention to whom he hires, as they couldn't have more poorly represented the center. I hope my experience is unique, & the center only exhibited a total lack of any fiduciary duty only in my isolated case. However, I find that rare & hard to believe. This place is a sham! They claim to be MUCH more than they are. They don't even have their own building. Their "medical" doctor is a chiropractor! When I went only Dr. Peavy and Dr. Lawless were the only people present with a doctorate- everyone else was a intern of some sort going to grade school. I had years of medical history that the twiddled down to one page. Many of the things written in my report were inaccurate including my birthday and they ignored the fact that I have food allergies in their dietary recommendations. I went with my fiancé and my parents. My fiancé (now wife) is on the autistic spectrum. I was concerned with some of their recommendations because of my wife's need for routine and being on the same page. They blatantly lied to me telling me that they already spoke to whet and she said that she agreed and was in board-only to find out that she only got to speak to someone very briefly once during my two day evaluation and she wan never informed of any plans. PNP will tell you that they think that you have metal toxicity. They will give you ape test but give you a pill to take to draw out the toxins in your urine. The test that they do however a says that it is based on someone without any agent that draws the toxins out. The test is rigged to make it look like metal toxicity is your problem. The metal toxicity test is written by a doctor off site(doesn't seem ethical to me) . They don't believe in labels. I have an issue with this. If I don't know what I'm working with how the heck can I fix it? Their recommendations were ludicrous- stand on your tip toes, give more hugs, be out in nature, and chew gum. I live in the desert- it gets up to 115 in he summer and I was still recommended to stand outside for an hour as part of my treatment. Save your money people. It is sad that Dr. Phil uses his platform to give PNP ( dr. Lawless is buddies with Dr. Phil - he was dr Phil's mentor in college)a good name, when in reality they operate by a one size fits all approach to treatment. I paid big bucks to sponsor a 35 year old gentleman who desparately needed help. (Hx of ADHD, anxiety, panic attacks, insomnia, ptsd.) It took a long time--almost 3 months to get in, and lots of work to get ready for the evaluation. The final report took a ridiculous 3 months to receive back. This center is highly touted by Dr. Phil (MaGraw) of the Dr. Phil show. He talks about how they fully evaluate people "physically, hormonally, psychologically..." etc. According to the "patient," the only medical test done was a urine test that was done after the evaluation. No blood work. No brain scans. There is no MD on the premisus--only PhD Psychologists with white coats. Just a QEEG to interpret brain waves. Although the individual has finally received the final report and has signed a privacy release for me to exchange information with PNP, they refuse to answer any of my emails or voicemails. (Very different before I paid the money..) It is now March of 2018; the testing was done August of 2017. Oh, and did I mention that PNP decided that he does not have ADHD and did not recommend any medication, even though his mother and at least one sibling have been diagnosed with ADHD; Two doctors back home diagnosed this individual with ADHD many years ago, and medication was very helpul to him. They (PNP) supposedly say, "We have a different way of looking at ADHD." Something about Beta (brain) waves. He had to go to his regular internist back home to get medications for his acid reflux and anxiety. Instead of paying a large sum of money to this center, I strongly advise you consider one of Dr. Daniel Amen's clinics--they do have several MDs on board and do SPECT scans of the brain for blood flow as well as the QEEG. My time with PNP has been an incredible positive experience. Their staff is very friendly and kind. Some of the things PNP offers are biofeedback (super helpful to get to know your body signals), neurofeedback and above all Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT). I've been a participant in CBT for years and my experience at PNP has been the most helpful of all the places I've been treated. I suffer from anxiety and depression and the skilled staff is compassionate and caring and highly knowledgeable about all their methods of treatment. I was initially hesitant to try a homeopathic, whole-body approach to my anxiety and depression management, but I can honestly say it has made a great impact on my life. read more

Went to PNP in September of 2016. They were very kind and caring while I was there but the minute I left I could not get any response. I was set up with Ben as my point person. I would email him and it would take multiple emails to get him to acknowledge and respond. I saw Dr Rice and she wanted to prescribe medicine for me and it was up to Ben to get me that information. I referred someone there, after great expense, still no final report NOR resource referrals to help this teen. This is a teen that for years has been going to psychiatrist, doctors, Juvenal hall, court system, DHS. After going to PNP no final report, no ans. or direction. This is a teen in trouble, parents have tried everything. Without help will not be able to function in the world alone and if not helped very soon may end up a ward of the state.
