I did not have a job prior to going to college. Fast forward to present day, I am 32 years old. The Holiner group has declined to see me as a patient because of outstanding collections due to cancellations. The collections total $252.00 - from when I was unemployed and 18 years old. Now I'm back in the metroplex, gainfully employed, and suffering from a reaction to the medication I am currently on and am seeking a 2nd opinion. What better place to go than the place that diagnosed me? When I was told about the collection of $252 I immediately said let me take care of it. They said they could not accept it because a collection company has taken it over. (I do not have a collection on my credit report - probably because these no-shows that occurred when I was unemployed and a freshmen at Texas Tech occurred when I was 18.) I then offered to give them $252.00 in good faith to atone for either my parents' oversight or the fact that I didn't check mail much when I was in a dorm room in Lubbock, TX, and they still said no. The experience when I first went helped change my life. I looked them up just recently to reconnect and get help and was surprised by the sub-par reviews that I came across. It's starting to make sense now. P.S. If you have file for Chapter 7 Bankruptcy, a wiping the slate clean of sorts, you cannot obtain home financing until after a 7 year waiting period for Conventional financing, and 2 years for FHA financing. Conventional financing (Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac) lacks common decency but at least they don't lack common sense. My recent interaction with Holiner makes me question whether the decision makers have either.

So I'm basically awesome and a total catch if you need help eating at a buffet or getting a higher interest rate on that car you want. My lowest score has always been my mental health. Six months ago or so I was in such a dark place that I just stopped living. I just felt overwhelmed and unheard. I've been going to psychiatrists for DECADES (I'm old but I don't look a day over 50...and I'm 40) and it's always the same three minute conversations: Do you want to harm yourself? Do you want to harm others? Have you tried Xanax? I can't even begin to tell you how bad off I was. Racing thoughts, anxiety both during the day and crippling into the night, couldn't sleep and majorly depressed. I was seeing someone in Frisco and while she was nice, I felt like I was stuck. I just kept getting prescribed the same thing at higher doses. That wasn't what I wanted. So I tried Dr. Faith here and not only did she spend almost an hour on that first visit with me, she didn't ask the three same questions. She asked questions that NO ONE ever thought to ask. Because of her I'm now treating the ADHD I didn't know I had (no wonder I couldn't focus on anything and kept losing my keys) as well as encouraging me to seek therapy for PTSD. Yes. I have that. I didn't realize how that messed up childhood left me with scars I couldn't see, but only felt. While I can't say I'm fully cured or anything I just wanted you all to know that both Dr.Faith and Dr. Ahmed are real professionals who care. They go out of their way to make sure when that call ends you have everything you need. I can't recommend them enough. She's helped me off one medication that's completely addictive and found better alternatives than over prescribing something that's hard to come off of. Go here!

She stated she wanted to help get these forms completed for me and help me continue care. I am changing to 4 stars and will see what happens before i change again to 5 stars. I am relieved that they gave me a call to work things out. I started seeing someone here after husband died. I have tried their medications and was excited to try spravato. I needed ADA title IX forms for work so that I could miss work whenever I was having a mental health day or if I needed to come in for those treatments. Apparently, in very small print on their website, they say that they do not do any disability forms which I think is really absurd when you have a mental health condition that's considered to be a disability. This was a massive waste of my time because now I'm starting back over to find a psychiatrist. I would not recommend them to Anyone.

I was pushed into ever escalating levels of care, different group therapies and different depression intervention treatments. Over the years, I started to realize that the extent of my "care" was just pushing me to mask harder and to ignore my trauma as something that would be figured out later. The scheduling was all over the place, I'd be assigned appointments I didn't know I had, and I was shuffled from one group to the next, my medication was changed every week or every two weeks. They'd push me in circles, questioning my diagnosis. They erroneously added diagnoses to my personal information, while neglecting to properly add the correct diagnosis. They asked me to get a psychological assessment because it would better inform them of an appropriate treatment plan, then the week after, they told me I didn't need it because it wouldn't impact my life, and we'd just choose the best treatment based on outcome. Then two weeks later, they were back to questioning my diagnosis and asked why I didn't get the assessment. They repeatedly recommended treatments to me that they themselves said weren't safe or appropriate for me. In short, they're disorganized, and want you to fit their specific model of healing. I'm sure some people have had great outcomes, but I did not, I have not, and I'm mourning the years I spent being gaslit. They've got a shiny new building, but it doesn't make up for their lack of organization.
