In the years since then I have been happy to have had expert physical therapy from both Marcia and Rusty Tassinari and my husband has also been treated by Rusty. They are both extremely experienced, knowledgeable and skilled and at the same time the nicest, kindest people you could ever wish to meet. We give Tassinari Physical Therapy our very highest recommendation.

I first learned of Tassinari PT a few years ago when asking a retired (and very knowledgeable)…read morelocal PT who she would recommend in the PB area for an older person, as my mother had a problem arm for years that was not responding to the treatment she was getting. The retired PT gave me pros and cons of various places in the area, and said "There was a fantastic small practice with an unusual name, but I think they're retired." I said "Maybe Tassinari?, and I think they're still there" and she said, "That's it--absolutely go there if they'll take you. They're the best." And she was right. Marcia Tassinari quickly identified what was the issue with my mother, and that changed the future course of treatment to something that was far more relevant. And a while later I developed a serious health issue and have seen Rusty Tassinari who has helped me regain, improve and maintain my ability to walk. Both Marcia and Rusty are extremely experienced, knowledgeable, and caring Physical Therapists who provide 1:1 PT. A particular expertise and strength of both is working with people who are older and have age-related challenges, an often underserved group, and I believe they primarily serve people with Medicare. If you want highly personalized and knowledgeable 1:1 PT, they are a fantastic resource. Note: They are planning to retire in 2025, and I believe they've identified someone with a similar practice philosophy/approach to continue the business.

Her calm energy and grounded nervous system were a divine respite from the daily overstimulation of being pregnant while caring for a toddler. Her touch was thoughtfully firm yet incredibly gentle and loving- the perfect blend of deep pressure and attentive, nurturing care. Roxanne is incredibly knowledgable about pregnant and postpartum bodies and it really comes through in her work. She intuitively knew what parts of my body needed support and tailored everything to what my body needed that day. Throughout the massage, she asked about my preferences and checked in about pressure. She helped release so much of the tension and stress I'd been carrying- I walked out feeling relaxed, calm, and more connected to myself and my baby. I highly recommend her to any pregnant or postpartum mom looking for a physical and mental reset.

Dang. So knowledgeable, professional, and efficient…read more I wasn't quite sure what to expect because I was unfamiliar with Neurosomatic Therapy and have had mixed results with more traditional massages as well. But Roxanne knows her stuff! It felt a little bit like working with a massage therapist that was also a Jedi- the work felt good (except for the difficult parts, I definitely felt good after though) but, more importantly, it felt precise. This wasn't a willy-nilly 'boy you sure are tight here' and then hammer away at the tight spot. What struck me as the most valuable part in all this was that working with Roxanne was a full on assessment of how my body was working as a unit. So, the nagging continuous pain in my right upper back isn't going to just fix itself in one session of you driving your elbow into the thickest knot? OH, there's a relationship between it and how I treat the rest of the body? I left our sessions both feeling better and with an active game plan on how to not be in such crummy shape next time we got together. If you love massages, feel better after, but the problems don't seem to be going away... there's a reason for that. Can't quite recommend going to see her enough!
