They seemed a bit annoyed when I asked to do a slightly shortened service since I was going in on my lunch break. Since they are on the Walmart campus, I feel like the should add a 30 minute pedicure or manicure for people coming in their lunch break since I'm sure that will be a common occurrence. The salon itself is beautiful and I love the amount of options they have for people to get. My main complaint beyond them being annoyed at me asking for a shortened service was that my nail tech made a few mean comments about my feet. She did do a great job, but I did not appreciate the comments she made since I normally take good care of myself.

I was told to present it when the services were complete, though I think I asked about it when they checked in as well. In any case, I was a few doors down at The Gents Place getting my own services done and Bliss was closing so one of my sisters came by and got my card and paid. Later on I realized that the discount had not been honored, but they seemed happy with their nails, and it was after hours anyway. The following week, my sister's gel nails, which had been sold to her as "good for 3 weeks" ended up coming off a week later (photo shown below). I was slightly irritated at this point, but was still traveling (this time with my brothers-in-law). After that trip I called and explained the situation to someone named Michelle who said that she would pass my thoughts up the ladder. I was seeking an adjustment of the original gel cost, then on that new price, the original 10% discount. Michelle's tone when taking the message very much conveyed "yeah right" but I left it with her. A week later, no response, I called back and got someone else who told me that someone would call. A couple days later someone did and I explained the situation to him, telling him that a discounted "re-do" of my sister's nails wouldn't help, as she lives in Topeka, not Bentonville. He said he would pass it up to management for me to get a call back. That never happened. So, I'm officially giving up and letting you all know. You can see on the receipt yourself that on a spend of $229.08 I was asking for an adjustment of around $40.00. I had to call 3 times just to be effectively ignored. I wasn't asking for much, just a reduction of the inferior nail treatment (not as delivered) and the 10% discount (not a lot, though I felt strongly that it should be honored given the poor quality of the treatment). As a fellow business owner I find this request not unreasonable and I think I have patiently tried to resolve this through ordinary means.

The issue had developed to the point I had pain anytime I put on closed toes shoes or walked long distances. Jimmie immediately addressed and repaired the issue, provides tools, tips and medication to continue the treatment, and established an ongoing regimen to ensure long term nail health. He also gave additional recommendations for holistic health. Fast forward three weeks and my mom is visiting from Arizona and complained about her toes being bothersome, and she appears to have the same issue. Jimmie is fixing her up and she will see a podiatrist in Arizona when she gets back. Once she is healthy she can find a reputable technician for long term care. I won't see another technician ever again!

I made a new appointment anyway, only to receive a call ten minutes later saying he actually could not fit me in, and I should find a salon that could, and that he did not appreciate me asking about the price change. This was the most unprofessional, haphazard, & rude I have ever had!!
