You can tell he has a passion for what he does and was able to judge our taste pallets for things we would like. He made the trip worth it alone. We returned the next day for food and were equally impressed. I got the Buffalo chicken dip and it blew me away. There was an insane amount of shredded chicken and the house made tortilla chips were some of the best I've had. I also had some of the boneless wings and were pretty impressed and would recommend both items. I only know this because there was an older gentleman at the bar who said his dad used to work there. The space is super basic with just enough decor to make it really cozy as well. It's situated on the river, so if you're sitting at the end of the bar you can look out the window and see the water. They've kept the place pretty much intact from it's original use, which I think adds to the charm. The bar tender was super welcoming and friendly, and so was everyone around the small bar. I only had their West Coast IPA, and it was on point. When I'm back in Zanesville I will definitely return.
