I have been to this pub countless times from brunch (during Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding event), to lunch, to dinner and for drinks. Therefore, this spot is one of my favorite place. Throughout the years some staffs were amazing and some average. Foods and drinks are always awesome. The atmosphere is always vibrant.

I've been here before Ive really liked this place during night time. But my review today will be on there Sunday brunch We came here for Sunday brunch, I had no idea they had brunch on weekends. They offer brunch till 2 pm We came there at 1pm with a reservation, we were automatically seated, our waitress was really nice and friendly. This place was pretty much a full house. For drinks we got the Brazilian coffee and an espresso martini, both of these were good, but if you are not ready to get a drink that tastes like alcohol at that time I don't suggest to get these because they were strong but we definitely enjoyed them. For food we got he full English breakfast and the Arnold's Scottish Benedict. They were both good but I LOVED the potatoes, it was very well seasoned and cooked with a lemony flavor. The only thing that I would say I didn't like what the blood pudding croquette, not to my taste at all. And another thing was that the full English breakfast came with a very place piece of bacon, ham and sausage which was almost like a tease. But overall is gonna a good breakfast taste wise. I really love the Irish vibe, so if you are someone that loves the Irish vibe this is definitely the pub for you. They seem to be open everyday till 3am and seem to have different specials everyday. I also loved the wodden affect and the frames and pictures on the wall, it's a very cozy place to be. They have 2 floors and bathrooms on both floors, the bathrooms are individual and very clean. I would definitely come back here again for brunch but also for night time.

Fun place to hang out for drinks, but the food is so very average. Fish and Chips was all batter, the onion soup was really unappealing. Tasted like a sweet gravy and was not hot. French fries are very good though!

Great food, friendly service, and a cute terrace. This place is great! Ordered the mac and cheese and London tea party to share with a friend and it was perfect. I thought the food was so comforting and just plain delicious. I got a lemonade cocktail and that was the only thing I wouldn't get again, and that's only because I'm not a big fan of cocktails to begin with. I'd absolutely come back.

Fish and Chips with mashed peas down by the Lachine Canal.

Excellent fish and chips! I was wary because most of the reviews were from years ago (which is why I'm taking the time to write this one) With Covid, this was a take-out order. We walked down (3 blocks) to the Lachine Canal and ate by the water. The man who served it told us where to walk to. He also gave us utensils and plenty of condiments. Often I find fish and chips is more batter and little fish. This was EXCEPTIONAL. It was 2 meaty pieces of cod. The mashed peas tasted fresh picked and buttery. Loved the grain mustard in the tartar sauce - lovely addition. YELP needs updated as it show $16 for the fish and chips; it is $19. Would recommend this and we will visit again.

I love this place! Solid, delicious, hearty food with some great cocktails, nice servers and a fun ambiance. We don't live especially close to it, but we will go out of our way to come here. I love the prime rib/prime rib sandwich. Flavorful, salty, fatty meat that's good on a plate with veggies or with melted cheese on a sandwich. Can't go wrong really. My husband (who is half British and lived in England for a bit) loves the Ploughman's, which comes with so many different little bites of meat, cheese, pickled items and crusty bread. It's pretty hearty despite being on the "peckish" side of the menu. The chicken tikka masala is also well done if you feel like something else. They have an interesting cocktail menu and changing specials made by great bartenders. Looking forward to being able to come back here for some hearty winter fare when they can open again!

After a light dinner elsewhere, I opted to dig into the cheeseburger here at Burgundy Lion. Great service at the bar, and while there's a full selection of spirits, the choices in beers are limited to macros only. It was a great pour of Murphy's, but I really can get Murphy's just about anywhere. It's a little loud and the place does get rather busy and that's all great. Neat pub vibe and with TV's tuned to sports, a constant amount of cheering going on. Inside and street seating too.

One of favorite spot for brunch! It embraces decent price, delicious food and enjoyable environment, the three key factors for me. You must try the salmon Benedict! I have tried in so many places. It is still top 1 from my within

This is a very nice 3-level establishment. We arrived for a football match, and it was quite busy. Having waited patiently to be seated, the manager made sure that we got a table in time for kickoff. Our server was excellent, and took care of a great number of customers in a timely manner. Beers and food were all good -- I recommend the Scotch Egg if you're not hungry enough for a full meal. A very well-managed place!

Ambiance was good. The food was great! A bit too tight, too many tables crammed into one spot.

Rest of the family was home cooking dinner so we were really just grabbing a beverage and an app to split. There was live music, had a very difficult time understanding what he was singing even though we knew the songs. Bartender was very chill and did a great job. Place was busy so reservations would be ideal rather than popping in. Second night the other half of my family came for dinner. We had an appetizer of buffalo cauliflower which was good. I enjoyed my shepherds pie, grandfather liked his fish & chips (which I seen a lot of people order the night before). My uncle had chicken wings while my cousin had chicken sandwich, both were pleased with their meals as well. I imagine there is a lot of traffic from the hotel in the same plaza. Parking can be very difficult later in the evening. One thing that aggravated me was the lack of care to keep a clean sidewalk free if ice and snow. I say this because my girlfriend is disabled and where the handicap parking spot is the ramp and the sidewalk leading to the main entrance was covered in snow. Not only that anyone who is elderly would have difficulties walking as well.

MC is the best! Wonderful selection on tap, super comfortable and casual. Hope to visit again soon!read more

The sports bar is located with tvs throughout and in the lower floor it's filled with huge tvs. We had reservations for 6:30. I'm glad we did because customers kept coming in trying to get a table but they were completely booked. The food was okay. We started with the all for one. This was okay. Not a lot of flavor to it. We then ordered the classic nachos. It took over 30 mins to get this and when we finally got it it was cold. Our sever was good. He gave us a complimentary beer for the tardiness of the food. He checked on us in the beginning but once they got really busy we barely saw him. He apologized multiple times for the delay with the food so we appreciated his professionalism.
