This is not a good school because they give you detentions for every single little thing. I was at school and had my hair in the haircut and style they needed and still got a detention because of one single strand. I also almost got a detention for going to the bathroom. This school gives students no freedom what so ever. Only a few grades get field trips and free dress days. They say if one person gets in trouble everyone else does too but if everyone is good only a few people get rewarded. This is one of the worst and unfair schools I have been to. Mrs Sanchez acts like she runs the whole school and the new principal does not do anything about any of your problems. Also so of the teachers are really weird here too and some of them are kind of racist. You should save your time and go to a different school you will actually enjoy. read more

I hate this school so much like the yard duties are so annoying like they nitpick at every single thing and they never let you have any fun. I literally skipped my few days because I had a water gun that wasn't even mine and was spraying myself with it and I had to miss out on my field day for the last day of school and they were gonna make us hit in detention for three hours and the school is literally so bad. I do regret coming here but I'm leaving from middle school because I'm not doing high school here because this high school sucks and this school sucks. Don't send your kids here. The education is so bad. The teachers do not care about the students and all they care about is making money as well as the yard duty. My son has been attending this school since 2022 and he appreciates the structure and discipline instilled into the students. I'm grateful of the hard work and dedicated support of the teachers and the administrators. read more

The adults that work here don't provide a positive environment for the students, causing them to strongly dislike school more than they actual do. Don't even bother talking to the front office unless you want to be given an attitude. They also preach about their 100% graduation rate despite the fact that they kick out students that may not be able to graduate. Please do better, and make school a more welcoming place for your students. read more

This school is forcing my granddaughter to continue going to this school for her last year as a Senior. She wants to go to Fairfield High school and PSA is refusing to drop her to attend another school. Fairfield High cannot accept her until she is dropped. My daughter has talked to the principal, the asst. director of secondary education and Solano County Superintendents office and still won't let her out. Parents please be aware that when you sign that contract in Jan., you are signing your rights away to make choices about how your child will be educated. NO School should have this power over the parents choices. read more

I have to this school for 2 years and I have had such an experience. Another thing is that the principal in this school is the BEST! She goes to extreme lengths to have to best for her students. And although most parents don't like the idea of uniforms, they are actually very comfortable and they actually help lower the bullying rates. This school also is very military like to help students practice discipline and is the best if your child wants to be a police officer, a firefighter, or maybe even participate in law. All in all, Public Safety Academy, also known as PSA, is the best! read more

Great principal, great staff, great kids. I'm so glad my son comes here and we are really looking forward to his 2nd year here (7th grade!) all the way up through high school. If I could change one thing, an after school sports program like other high schools would be implemented, even just track since these kids are such good runners. Love the school!!! read more

Not a good fit for student athletes in High School. They do not offer any sports programs and they do not work very well with students who want to play sports within other schools in the district. read more

Principle is rude and they change their uniforms every year making the parents have to spend extra money, when their child's uniforms were still in mint condition. Not to mention you had just spent a great deal of money just last year. They give your child demerits for every little thing for example asking another student for a pencil. Definitely pulling my child out next year. read more

PSA is a fantastic school!! My daughter absolutely loves it!! Students are held to a high standard and are expected to follow rules. The are also expected to treat the wonderful staff with the same respect that the staff gives them!! The principal is also great and is very fair in the discipline of students. The uniforms are also wonderful and it makes it so much easier to do back to school shopping! read more
