My son is a senior, and with Lisa's guidance, achieved a 1530 on the SAT, missing only one math question-no superscore, just one test. Thus far, he has not been turned down by any of the top-tier engineering programs to which he has applied. My younger child is now working diligently with Lisa to maximize his SAT scores as he prepares for college applications in the fall. What makes this all the more impressive is the fact that both my children have dyslexia and dysgraphia-school has not come easy for them. Whether working directly with Lisa or one of her expert team members, you can expect compassion, professionalism, flexibility, and a commitment to meet your child at his or level, emotionally and academically. My first one is now on a scholarship at Seattle U, the little one is looking to apply for schools this fall. Their service is very professional, and focused on their strong teaching structure, specifically applied to your kid's strengths and improvement opportunities, they have also shown great flexibility in adjusting load and focus of classes to our kids' specific needs and priorities, changing along the way. Not to say they do magic, kids, and parents, need to be paying attention, completing assignments, and speaking up when something is changing in the kids' learning priorities, which, with standard testing, is likely to happen when you are taking more than one test, looking to get the benefit of super scoring. Pandemic totally broke their regular curriculum stride and threaten their learning ability, going to Huntington basically allowed them to rebuild, recreate that ability, particularly for math. I was waiting at a coffee shop a few doors down. I returned 20 minutes prior to the end of my kid's appointment to find my seven year old who has ADHD and other delays waiting alone in the waiting room with no adult. I sat with her for several minutes before anyone returned. When I spoke to the employee she told me it was "safe" for children to be unsupervised in their lobby. I completely disagree and I am so thankful that nothing happened to my daughter. I would not recommend this center!

I'm putting this out there to hopefully save someone else some time. I was looking for some…read moretutoring help for my daughter in AP Bio. They would give me no price info on line. You have to go in and meet with the center manager and listen to the spiel and not until the end do you get the costs. You have to buy blocks of 50 hours of tutoring at around $90/hour, which means you don't get out of there for under about $4,500.00. Of course, this is paid up front. You can pay for tutoring by the hour, but that is $105.00/hour. Under both scenarios, in that hour they can have up to three students in the tutoring session. Wow! Someone is making a lot of money. Is it the tutors? No. I looked at Glassdoor and the tutors make between $20 to $25 per hour. So, if you do the math, the center is getting up to $315/hour and paying the tutor $25? Caching! Obviously, we didn't sign on, so this is not an entirely fair review. That's why they get a 3. Because they wasted an hour of my time. Maybe their services are really worth that much. I'll never know.

Although the program motivated me to have some structure during the summer, there were several days when class time was not productive.
