The co-ed area is one huge room with hard wooden seats, 1 projector that was showing a hockey game, 2 treadmills, 1 pool table that is $2 a play, 2 flat screen TVs that were off, a snack shop and eating area and an area leading to the sauna room. Snack shop had instant ramen of course, hard boiled eggs, and ice cream among other things. Free WiFi and water is also available. The sauna room is also one big room that lead to 6 different sauna rooms: Elvan stone, Salt, Crystal, Jade, Loess and Germanium. The temperature ranges from 45-100 degrees Celsius and each have a security cam inside. There were plenty of mats and blocks available to use. In addition there is 1 Ice room but it was just cool. It was not cold enough as not all of the wall froze over. The other Korean saunas I've been to had seatings except this one. This room was the only one without a cam. The men's locker room was big with access to several shower stalls, 1 cool tub (not cold), 1 hot tub, 1 body scrub room and 1 steam room. I found it weird that the staff doing the body scrub would periodically look out the window into the shower and steam room area. It's $55 for a body scrub for 30mins and goes up from there. The front desk lady was nice and the entire place was fairly clean.

My friend had 30 min of $55 Korean scrubbing service( if you know you know) she said she was officially addicted and could not believe how soft her skin was after. I hired this firm back in 2005 to replace the wall unit I had in my condo. Two of their servicemen…read morecame by and grumbled testily when I asked them to remove their shoes at the door. They did take my old unit for free but clumsily shoved cardboard boxes into the hole in my wall. I took out their boxes and recovered the hole so squirrels wouldn't climb in through the gaping holes the servicemen left. The head office ordered the new unit and promised it would be there in a week. The unit arrived on time but they said that the flange (a frame to seal the gap between the wall and the unit) was on back-order and would arrive within the week. I called a week later and they said that the flange should be there in three days. I called 4 days later and they promised and swore up and down that the flange was just about to cross the border and should be there after the weekend. I called and they said that the flange was bound to arrive any day. Turns out, they didn't need the flange to install the unit. They discovered this from a retired AC installer who was in town (he lived in the Maritimes) that Styrofoam would work just as well until the flange arrived. He graciously offered to install it and, fortunately, caught them just as they they were planning to cut the specialised appliance electrical plug off the unit and tape a standard 120-volt plug in its place. He told me when he was installing the unit that he patiently had to explain to ABudget that the special plug was specifically designed so that it wouldn't plug into a 120-volt outlet and start a fire. When the flange finally arrived, ABudget called and promised that the two servicemen would be there to install it the following day. They neither showed nor called. When I followed up, ABudget apologised profusely and said that they would be there the following day. They neither showed nor called. A supervisor apologised profusely and then promised that they would absolutely, positively, be there the following Tuesday by noon or they would credit $100 to my credit card. The only promise they seemed to follow through on was refunding that $100 when they didn't show. So, yeah. That's what to expect from ABudget. Any questions why they got a 1 star?

I gave it a try. I did a search using this company's app that I had installed on my phone and found the nearest location. I drove over there. Trillium is essentially a business tower close to the Markham-Richmond Hill border. I took the elevator up to the third floor and was greeted by two cheerful folks at the desk. I proceeded to show my free membership. One of them gave me a tour and assigned me a small, but comfortable, business office for the day. Nice! You can help yourself to complimentary drinks, which included a fancy machine to make coffee and tea. Naturally, I was also told how to get in and out of the floor, and where the washrooms were. I had a ton of work to do. It was a nice change from working from home, as I did a fair amount back then. My office was quiet to begin with. Closing the door made it practically soundproof. You have plenty of room to spread your laptop and such around. There are hooks for your coat, too. The Regus office closes at 5 pm during weekdays. You can ask for after-hours access, which costs more. Luckily, I didn't need it. I recommend this place if you'd like a change of venue and can afford to pay for a Regus membership. I'm glad that I took advantage for my free yearly membership. (27)
