The pricing is a bit on the higher side then I'm use to but they do hook you up with a small discount when you're buying a few things depending on if their feeling extra generous. They had everything I needed as far as a new bowl to replace the one that I broke and cheap handhelds when you're on the go and need a quickie. I'm not a big smoker anymore but I take an occasional puff when I feel like it. Ain't nothing wrong with that ;) Anyway, the only reason why I give this place 3 stars is because it can be so much more. I do come from Cali where some shops like these are out of control fancy with pricing to fit the masses, so maybe I'm just particular. Parking also kinna blows. There's literally 2 or 3 designated spots in the little alley way and curbside parking is cool but I'm not a fan of that because of traffic & police. HAHA! Fast forward to today and the manager that was on duty today, had ZERO interest in working with me. He didn't want to help me replace the O rings on my current tank because just like the last 3 exact same Voopoo tanks I had (the one I went in there with today,was the one I got from them only 9 months ago)it started to flood the carb area, AGAIN. Then I asked about replacement tanks since they wouldn't help me with the O ring, what were the current options. The kid I was working with originally doesn't normally work at that location apparently. So he didn't really put in much energy in getting me into something better. So I chose one I've used in the past. I also brought a whole bunch of unopened coils, still sealed in their packaging. I was ALWAYS told in the past that if things didn't fit/didn't work out as long as they were sealed they would let me trade them out. REGARDLESS if the issue the coils didn't work because of my fault or their fault. Didn't matter, they ALWAYS took care of me. That's WHY I went to that Red Star location always. The manager on duty today, gave me ZERO options. Said it was company policy to only do that when they make mistakes. That's new to me in the couple of years I've been a customer. I've spent hundreds, probably thousands at this location over the couple years I've been a vaper. I won't be returning anymore and if anyone asks my opinion about this location, I'll be sending them elsewhere. I understand there's company policy, but what I was asking for a simple trade out of the coils ONLY, one box for a box - simple. I give back an entire fully sealed box of coils and get a new box that for the new tank I was willing to purchase today. Again, ZERO care from the two dudes on the floor today. I understand in retail there can be a fast/high turn over rate. I try not to get too attached to specific staff. But what happened Red Star!? You completely turn away from taking care of your customers to any degree? I doubt anyone will read this. My Google review I made 9 months ago compared to this one tho, MASSIVE difference. If nothing else, I hope like hell the DM for this area sees this review and has a chat with their staff. The sealed coils I was asking to trade, again, fully sealed brand new box of coils that were LESS than a week old. The dude didn't even ask me if I had an account there to see my purchase history. Just full stop did NOT GAF. Do better or y'all will lose more customers with this BS way of handling your customers.
