The on site female supervisor is pleasant and knows her job very well,but our experience with the company was horrible. Good luck in contacting anyone, seems like the Supervisor only works a few days a week and limited hours on the days she does work. We left numerous messages but our calls were never returned. One time we did call and she actually answered the phone! We wanted to rent a larger unit but we were so upset with always getting a recording when we called and no one ever calling us back that we cancelled our rental. And of course they kept our $150 even though we had not used the rental unit. the unit that we got had a roll up door that was very hard to get rolled up, we mentioned that to the supervisor on our first visit to the unit and a few weeks later when we visited to take our lock off the unit as we were canceling our rental it still had not been fixed. I have a bad back so having to push extra hard upward is an issue with me. We went to CubeSmart in Orange City which is even closer to my house and got a 10 by 20 unit for what the Debary Public storage was charging for a 10 by 10. And they seem to have someone on site during all of their posted hours. The young man Frank who was on duty was very pleasant. I would never use or recommend Debary Storage again. read more

Do Not Rent from this company, when I signed up with them they swore that they would not raise the price for a year. After 3 months they raised it and again raised it after 5 months. I've been there for 2.5 years because I can't get back there to remove my stuff. Totally they have raised it 9 times without saying anything. I've repeatedly asked why with no response. I'm so done with them. At least when you're been robbed in the streets they pull a weapon and tell you they are robbing you! DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!! I needed a small storage space to store about a closets worth of stuff... I was talked into a larger unit because it would "save" me money... yeah... it didn't... sold me a $20 lock that I can't use anywhere else Then they had a fire that destroyed quite a few units and they went up $10 on the rent.. ya know... so they could still make money... They pro-rate when you come in but not when you leave... so basically they screwed me for a $100... Store your stuff elsewhere... A LOCAL PLACE.... not some corporate place that doesn't give a damn about you or your stuff... just your money... I won't go to ANY public storage because of THIS ONE PLACE.... I have been a customer at this storage facility for over 10 years as it has changed hands 3 times, When Public Storage took over they doubled my rent. The security of this facility was not to my satisfaction as several times the front gate was broken and remained open. My trailer that I had parked there was damage as someone hit it and caused over $500 in damages, no one there could help me find the cause as their security cameras were not working. Every year since my rent was increased 50 to 100%. On March 14th I gave notice to vacate the space, received an email that confirmed it. I vacated the space on March the 26th, the billed me for April with out my permission and would not refund me for this charge. read more

Worst experience ever. Needed a storage for only a couple weeks. Signed up for the $1 for 1st month on the 26th of August. September 1st they said I owed another $310. Called and complained so they said I had till the 23rd. Got COVID on the 16th and couldn't move till the 28th. They charged me $365 for late fees. All around unhelpful and a rip off. Nice secure place. Please property manager nice and helpful. Renting a climate controlled unit; however building only cools front and middle units decently, our unit located toward back and it is quite warm. I discussed it with the property manager and she understood and will notify us when a unit in a cooler section becomes available. I am happy that she is doing this however a climate control building should be cool throughout. read more
