I despise Yelp reviews but this place is so bad I had to. I would give this place 0 stars if I could. If there are any reviews above 1-Star don't listen to them. If you enjoy strict hours and inconveniences, this is the place for you! The entire building, not just the office, closes at 6pm on week nights and 5pm on Sundays. So, if you work or have an all day move, DO NOT USE THIS STORAGE. Probably the only storage unit in the history of storage units that makes you remember a 9 digit entry code that you can't use past a certain time. Office people were nice at least and will kindly tell you to F off once closing hours hit. The management/owners/Public Storage are running a racket at this location. Rented a 10×10 for $142 a month with first month for $1. Arrived one day ahead of my scheduled date and ask to be updated by the one day. Charged me $28 because it affected my proration. Makes no sense. Was told on the phone I could select my unit while filling out contract online. System assigned unit with no option. Asked at the office about switching floors. Was told the rate would go up to $190, the max rate online was $178, ridiculous. This place will nickel & dime you to death. Avoid!! read more

ok, this was the best deal for any storage units around Denver. roughly, $100 less per month. so that is great and it is climate controlled which is even better and actually more of a deal, being I was pricing non-climate controlled. the staff was friendly, however, one woman had told me they open at 8am and that I can unload early in the morning. I had gotten there at 4:20pm and they close at 5pm. so going off what she said, I arrived early in the morning. 7:55 and waited until 9:30 when they actually opened. that pissed me off and next my unit was the only unit that did not have the holes for cylunder locks. After she had refunded me because they didn't even know it didn't have the holes I had to repurchase a lock for my unit. The entry and elevators can only be accessed with codes or phone app which makes it a pain especially trying to use the elevator as someone behind you continues to push the door open button and you have to start all over because they opened your door which makes it take wayyyyyyy longer. I need to move and need somewhere close and this place just was close but the price was outrages 120 plus insurance and taxes came out to 141.00 ridiculous, sister got an Extra storage space 10x15 for 75 a month. twhe customer service was right down none accommodating, rude and right down mean and harassing. Every person there from the store manager on down needs to learn better customer service and how to treat people with better respect and courtesy. I will think twice before ever using public storage again. Based solely on that. Didn't get my free month let alone even a dollar month. Harassing phone calls a week before even you storage unit is do. Closes way too early and opens way to late. Never enough carts to help you move. They let the storage moving companies do what they want even when it's holding up the one of 3 elevator that only opens one elevator at a time Have to wait tell there finished or the door to close so you can get one of them to open. All the restrooms were locked or locked up way before close. No trash cans available except one on the first floor and no use of external trash cans either. I felt from the first visit to the last visit Disrespected, disregard, and Mistreated. I even got a bill that I owe 105.00 when I clearly communicate that I would be vacating the unit before October first the previous month and was told I didn't to the same lady I told I was vacating. I made a cross-country move and working with this Public Storage location was one of the most stressful and frustrating parts of the entire move. I only needed the unit for a couple of weeks and was told that I could move my things in anytime after I started my rental agreement and that it would only be $26 for the first month. After that first initial communication, the communication completely fell apart. I was called by multiple people over the next few weeks with varied information and details and ended up moving my things in on a different day. When I got there, the size I had booked was not available and I ended up being charged almost $75 more than they had originally quoted me. I then had my date for move out moved up by three days, three different times, and when I showed up on the move-out date we had finally agreed upon, I had to pay a late fee even though I was there on the day they had said was the last day (three days earlier than the original booking time). The entire experience was extremely frustrating. I felt like I could not get the information I needed, I was swindled out of money and the dates were not made clear to me and changed every day. When I expressed this to the employees, they were rude and unhelpful and I never spoke to the same person twice. They also just told me to contact overall Public Storage customer service when I asked to speak to a manager. Definitely would never recommend. The hours to access the facility are also extremely inconvenient. read more

The elevators are always busy and they never have carts, most of the staff comes off extremely rude

The restroom was locked on the 7th floor where my unit is located. I almost messed my pants trying to get back down to the 1st floor to use the restroom. The hours of access are limited. In other words if you rent a storage unit here you cannot access your belongings outside of business hours. 9:30am is too late to open. It's my own negligence for not noticing that it didn't have 24 hour access. I made a mistake choosing this location. read more

I open an account with public storage on line which i got it for 64.00 a month i was under the i'mprecion that 1st month rent was only 1 dollar i had paid them 64.43 in 15 days and another 62.31 for the other 15 days i down sized from a 5 by 10 unit to 5 by 5 unit and was told it would be less of the price i am going now on my month and 1/2 and was told i owe them 103.00 with a late charge of 20.00 added they locked me out of the unit and can't get in the unit. the price keeps changing on me now it went from 47.00 to 63.00 to 86.00 i have records of all they are doing and filing on them with BBB i recomend not to get involved with this company the manager on duty tells me she can't do anything without the district manager they got something coming good thing i kept every file given to me and my bank also has charges done read more

This is my first time actually renting a storage unit and the staff here far far was the best staff that I've run into. They were very polite, had excellent customer service, helped me right away find the best deal, and they even took the time out to walk me up to my new unit to show me exactly where it was. read more

Working with this company is one of the most miserable experiences I've encountered in a long time. The employees were rude and not helpful, but it's not their fault. I blame upper management for their unfriendly consumer policies and rules. First of all we needed storage in Denver and reserve a space. On the way to downtown Denver we called to confirm the address and the salesperson on the phone we had talked to reserved a space in Washington DC instead of Denver. WTF. We had a U-Haul loaded with 5 people to help unload. Their policy was that you can only use one small cart to go to the sixth floor. What would have taken 2 hours or less took 4 hours and then they kicked us out at 6 pm before with only 4 boxes to be unloaded. We had to reload the U-haul with what we had unloaded and come back the next day. It caused a lot of problems. If they would have given us two carts we could have accomplished the unload promptly. Upper management and corporate needs their heads knocked together a few times on their consumer unfriendly policies. Then when 6 o'clock hit we got stranded in the elevators for a short time as the codes expired. I was ready to call 911. I hope not to ever deal with the Public Storage Company ever again. read more

Only 1 of the 3 elevators in the whole 8 story building works, which causes complete chaos. The doors close at 5:00p or 6:00p each night and you cannot access your unit after this time. This was not made obvious to me when renting, confirming my rental, or picking up my lock. Also, the female attendant was VERY rude, and ill informed. She threatened that she called the authorities and that they were on their way when we were rushing to get out on time... we stayed in the parking lot for about 40 mins after frantically calling places to extend our truck rental, and needless to say, the authorities never came. The floor I have my unit on REAKs of burnt weed, and we saw 4+ people who were very clearly living there, just in the short amount of time we've been there. I will NEVER rent from Public Storage again. DO NOT RECOMMEND. read more

Way too many mishaps to give it a good review however, there are some pluses. I don't think I would choose this company again because I think it's important to be upfront and honest with your customers. The staff was very nice and the facility is extremely clean and seems new. The trouble is that the deals they advertise and their pricing is not what I expected. There was a lot of nickel and dime sort of things going on so, I would definitely contact them before committing and ask A LOT of questions. The biggest issue was when I very specifically told them that "I had some big items to move and had to wait until after work hours for help and would not return until 7 PM at the earliest and if my code to enter would work after the office hours were closed?" I was told that "yes, I could because it would be open until 9:30." When I returned that evening there was a man attempting to enter his code and was having issues. I tried mine and it also did not work. I took video and photos of this. I called the number online and got a voicemail for the manager. Never heard back. I ended up having to leave my desk on the curb and take a loss b/c it wouldn't fit in my mom's SUV and I had to return the moving truck by 8 PM and was moving out of Denver. Later I discovered that the business hours are the facility hours and you may not enter after. I find this to be ridiculous especially when the office hours are quite limited for a storage unit. You basically have to take time off from work or move with about 100 other people on a weekend. So, I ended up having to come all the way back to Denver just to put a mattress in there b/c I was misinformed. I don't even know what the point of having an access code is considering they keep the entry doors wide open all day due to the volume of moving done in their limited window of moving hours. I'd say at the least they owe me a response and at the best time, a desk, and better business practices. I will say that this is my first experience with a storage company so, perhaps they are all like this or worse, and maybe it's just an industry standard to mislead people but I certainly, hope not! read more

very easy to set up an account. easy access. everything you'd want for a storage unit. however, the support beams are unfinished and basically razorblades. within minutes of moving in, i got my finger stuck between a support beam and a box. it sliced my finger open cascading blood all over my fiance's stuffed animals, our clothes, and my amplifier (which i concede is metal and badass so we'll call that a wash) after locking up and hobbling out covered in blood, public storage caused me to take a trip to urgent care, gain 3 stitches, and rack up a $170 medical bill. now they relatively cost the same as the nicer units that might not have maimed me. read more
