One stop shopping if you are moving. My only complaint was that I found the service lacking when I was there. I was there around noon and there was one person working in the store he was having an issue with a customer order and had to take a long time to help her, my issue was that there were others in and around the property who knew he was having difficulties but none came to help service the other customers who were waiting in line for various reasons. I just needed a small box. I ended up just leaving a dollar and some change on the counter and leaving. I hope that's not indicative of their service. I will give them another chance when I need their services again.

    I debated for a while on whether to leave this review, but ultimately felt it was important to…read moreshare my experience. I placed an order on 4/18 for a U-Haul pod to be delivered on 4/19. The order was accepted and paid for, and I was relying on that confirmed date due to a time-sensitive move. On the morning of 4/19, I received a call informing me it would be several days before anyone could deliver the container. This was completely unacceptable, as I had no backup plan and trusted U-Haul's reputation to follow through on their commitment. During my call with the representative, I expressed my frustration. While I understand that situations happen, the conversation escalated to a point where the representative told me she would "come through the phone and f***ing strangle me." I have never in my life been threatened with physical violence by a customer service representative. She later apologized and explained they were severely understaffed and overwhelmed with ongoing issues, but that does not excuse the comment or behavior. Eventually, a managing partner called me and personally delivered a unit on wheels later that same day. While I do appreciate that effort, it leaves me wondering why a solution like that couldn't have been offered from the start instead of putting me through unnecessary stress and conflict. Overall, I am extremely disappointed in this experience and the lack of professionalism. No matter how frustrated a customer may be--especially when a promised service is not delivered--there is absolutely no place for threats or profanity in customer service. I would appreciate a representative from U-Haul reaching out to me directly to discuss this experience.
