WOULD NOT GO TO THIS…read moreLOCATION All trucks were already reserved which is understandable so worker Bryce "helped" us in reserving a U-Haul truck at a different location, which was a lengthy process in itself. My fiancé and I drove to the new location and waited for about 30/40 minutes in another line only to find out that there was no truck there reserved for us like promised by worker Bryce. One of the workers at the new location even commented on Bryce being less then stellar in the past as well and making mistakes like this in attempts to rush people out of the store. Now any other store remotely near us will be closing soon, so essentially we drove 3 hours from Atlanta to just drive right back and have to come back all the way to South Carolina again to help our family member move. I spoke to her and told her of the unprofessional treatment I received from the time of delivery to the exit. She stated she would speak to the operations manager and send me a release form for reimbursement of damages, etc. That has been done and I received acknowledgement of the form being received. I now await the next step, as told by Marie, for the compensation to be received.

They said they would call me 3-4 days before the move to go over details with me, that never happened. I finally called them a few days before the move, where someone immediately and very rudely told me that they couldn't move me. They said they were booked up, and didn't have the men. Another guy then tried to tell me that it was an "IT issue" with their central office, not their fault so they couldn't do anything. Through trying to complain about this issue, I was connected back to them and spoke to somebody else. This time his excuse was that a "truck broke down" after I scheduled my move. I do not believe a single one of their ever-shifting excuses. Sure, they're giving me my deposit back and "taking responsibility", but none of that helps me when I have to be out of my place in less than a week. He just kept insisting that someone else can do it (and would not listen when I told him that I did the legwork already and that wasn't true). Do not book with this awful, scam of a company. They will cancel your move and completely screw you over and do nothing to make it right outside of the barest possible minimum.

Prior to this experience I could only find available units that did not give me a warm and fuzzy feeling. One was in an area with no lights or cameras and seemed run down. The other seems fine until it rained and I checked the unit the day after. It was soaked. Maggie Valley Storage Solutions is fenced in and has cameras. Never had an issue. I would highly recommend them if you are in need of a place for storage.
