A team of three arrived at the appointed time. Each item in our home was handled with such care. Each item was wrapped in a furniture blanket and shrink wrapped or taped. Legs of chairs we protected. We were in awe of the great job these three guys did taking such good care of our furniture and appliances. The fact this is a locally owned moving company and storage was a huge plus. Although moving is never an easy time, these 4 fellows got right to work, knew what they were doing, had a plan, were able to take apart and put back together large pieces of furniture, they were careful with every step while carrying heavy weight and fragile items. They charged her $2774.78 to pack them, indicating they charged by the sheet of paper and amount of bubble wrap. I helped her unpack and it was easy to see why the total was so high. Many of the large boxes held very little other than crumpled paper and a small number of items. A two inch candle was wrapped as if it was a precious item that was going to be dropped onto pavement from an airplane. She called the company and sent them several pictures and they offered her a small refund of $281, which she has never received. I would not recommend this company to anyone! Either the workers were not trained at all or they were trained to fill the boxes with extra paper and bubble wrap. Very poor customer service and policies. And all of this is stuff that they've salvaged from demolition and junk removal jobs; it boggles my mind what people throw away. I found a countertop I really like for my guest bathroom; Carolyn has gone above and beyond trying to find me a matching bathroom vanity to go with it. We didn't quite find the dimensions we need, but the quest continues. They get new stuff in all the time. Walking around this place is like going on a treasure hunt!
