Management also could not wait until th 3rd of the month when I get paid so to pay them and move on the 4th Instead they changed me for the rest of the month. I already fhat policy is the same as if the guy that cuts your grass hasn't got his $100 so he is backing his box truck up to there front door and confiscating all there stuff. Driving off and hiding it from you. Same thing. My advise is that after storing my stuff with different company's for 20 + years I should have done what I'm doing now is sell what you can and landfill the rest. Dont get used by these companies. Go for short-term. Also catch my review towards Diamond storage Redwood Road. Maintenance failed to maintain the rear floor seal and 100s of mice destroyed almost everything. Management just snickered and told my it was my fault. They said there insurance won't pay over $1000. They offered 0 help in filing a claim. This is an unpaid, unbiased, up-to-date Public Storage (PS) Midvale sites review. I have my name and picture on the review. PS has gone or is going to a kiosk at their sites; no individual is ever on site. DOUG lives at one of the kiosk sites but doesn't work at the site - what! Their storage prices from 2019-2024 have increased 313.43%. They increase you by 32% every 6 months. I have NEVER been notified of an upcoming increase, a gate hour change, or a change to the kiosk system. For over a year, I have had a 10x15 gate that won't shut or open, slick lock doesn't work, etc. PS is a real-estate investor-owned, public trade on the stock exchange with over a 40% profit realization, I AM FIRST ON A WAIT LIST AT AMERICAN SELF STORAGE (same area as PS), manager on-site, $100 cheaper a month, expected low rent increases, their number is 801-561-9590. read more

Left my unit unlocked for a few hours and the property manager took it upon themself to put in a new lock. The person I share the unit with was in the ER and his mom had to fly here to grab his items. I now have a locked unit and no property manager in sight. Livid to say the least. read more

The move in was not a problem but once I moved my belongings in I realized they have people sleeping in the units after gate closes at night. The office does not have access to videos and not sure who really does or if anyone is "Proactively" watched over the security of the rental units. They seem more worried about calling and collecting your rent then safely securing their facility! Ana even admitted that they suspected this person was sleeping there but never confirmed it??????????(It is really not hard to spot a full size car on a camera) This facility is in a very bad part of town so to see people sleeping behind the gate after hours was scary. The unit doors have no alarm and other then a couple of cameras at the entry your rental locker is up for grabs! read more

I went on line to find a reaonably priced storage . Jaime called me and said she had availability and that I could move in that day. The unit was clean as well as tha grounds. Jaime was so helpful. Being a new widow it has been hard for me to know the things that he would have taken care of. Jaime showed me how my things could fit and how get the best use of my storage. I signed a contract that said I was locked into the pricing only to have them change the pricing a few months late, they almost doubled the price telling me they have a clauses in their contract to lie. Now a year later they have gone from $70 to $170 this is fraudulent marketing. It is so expensive to rent a moving truck and find someone to help move, but I can't afford to keep my life belongings in a place that keeps jacking the price every few months. I went online and reserved a unit. within 2 minutes of hitting Reserve, Margaret called me and confirmed and set me up to come set up the unit that day. The unit had just vacated and she immediately went out and cleaned it up and had it ready for me when i got there 15 minutes later. She made the setup process very easy and was very friendly and helpful. I'm brand new in town and greatly appreciated her hospitality and effort to make the rental perfect. Great job! read more

I had a Reservation and when I arrived I was informed they had no units available, however they had vacancies at other locations for much more than my reserved price. This was a typical " BAIT AND SWITCH" THE YOUNG GIRL EVEN ADMITTED THAT SHE HAD 4 OTHER RESERVATIONS AND NO UNITS AVAILABLE. While I was there a moving truck arrived with two senior citizens who also had a reservation only to be told that they NO UNITS AVAILABLE. This Company is a disgrace I would not have anything to do with them. read more

Very surprised with any negative reviews. Margaret helped me with my unit. She disclosed all fees, in detail...(no one likes surprises). She was also extremely pleasant to talk to and was very informative. It is truly month to month and I received half off the 1st month. Location is good, by the airport, and neighborhood seems fine (there really isn't a true ghetto in Utah). Just moving in the unit, so can't speak on security yet, but seems to have enough security measures. Again, customer service is fantastic! Would recommend to anyone read more

I am in sale and have 3 different rental units in as many states. I was snew to Salt Lake and happened to walk into this storage facility. I talked to a young male and told him that I need a climate controlled unit for my equipment. He proceeded to tell me that in Salt Lake the temperature doesnt drop below 50 so I would be ok storing in his facility. (of course once winter hit I realized that he was lying to me).. I want to warn anyone that is looking for storage in Salt Lake not to use this facility. When I was ther eto pick up my equipmet in the winter after an apparent snow fall. I could not acces my unit becasue the snow was plowed in a way that i could not wheel my equipment out of the unit.. Of course that was when I canceled my rental agreement.. read more

I planned ahead as part of a cross-country move and 'pre-reserved' a space online months in advance. About 10 days before my stuff was put on a truck headed for Salt Lake, Chuck, the property manager called me. He said he only had one unit available and encouraged me to reserve it online ASAP. Once I got that squared away, Chuck called back to make sure everything was in order. We discovered the unit I reserved was not going to be convenient for the moving truck. Again, Chuck kept a look out for an opportunity and three days before my stuff arrived he had found a bigger unit in a better location and for $20 cheaper. Without his help, my move would have been even more of a hassle than it already was. Chuck and the rest of his staff were kind, courteous, and professional. The property is clean and appears to be well maintained. I would definitely recommend! read more

Margaret was very professional and helpful. She walked us to our unit and did an inspection.

Being from another city, we relied on the condition of our storage unit to be in good repair, as it was when we rented it. When we returned to check on it we found that someone had hit the door with a vehicle and the door was no longer secure. The side was open to the weather and wind and our furniture was covered with dirt and bugs. It took a lot of phone calls and a long time to get it repaired. We will be moving out as soon as we can afford to hire a moving company. read more
