My wife and I had a terrible experience at the Tiny Town Publix deli yesterday. An employee tried to push spicy wings on me, and when I declined and explained I have a sensitivity to spice, he wouldn't stop pressing. He eventually lifted his sleeve to point at his skin, pushing the stereotype that because we are Black, we "should" be able to handle spicy food. We were shocked and my wife left in tears mad. Before we left, we spoke to management and they mentioned action would be taken. When we followed up with management today, they told us he was merely "counseled." Because of this blatant profiling and the weak response from management, we will not be returning to the Tiny Town Publix. Organizations and business's really need discriminatory training. btw i expected this at a walmart, dollar general, krogers maybe, but PUBLIX!??? insane and unacceptable behavior read more

The gentleman I dealt with (Colton) was so helpful and went above and beyond to make my purchase easy and stress free. He was friendly, courteous and helpful. Very professional. 1st I want to say I am a regular customer and shop here quite often. and the customer service is always happy to help. but today I was greeted by a very rude kid who was bagging my groceries (Tall curly hair and with clear glasses frames) kid was a total smart ass and extremely rude and obviously needs a class on manners and how to be friendly when making rude banter to the costumers to fill his time. he should be out front maybe pushing carts where his time could be better spent less interaction with customers and more time doing some actual work. Rude customer service like this could convince customers to go to other grocery stores where the people are more friendly. read more

It's a little pricey, but extremely clean, well organized, good selection of meat and produce. I just moved here and this is the closest grocery store to my new house. I am very pleased and will enjoy shopping at this grocery store. Make sure you get a membership card to get the best prices.... membership prices! read more

I can't tell you how many items I've bought over the past year that have been 1) Moldy (berries, fruits) or 2) out of date. I've put together some pics and videos of the out of date items I've purchased. most people don't look at the dates - DO THAT AT THIS STORE. Another complaint is the Jamaican woman at the deli counter. She goes slower than a snail, and usually, it's only her working at night. be prepared to wait a LONG time if you're behind someone. Also, the prices keep going up and up. I have started to go to Whole Foods in Nashville, it;s worth the gas money because you'll still save on the same foods and brands. Organic Girl salads up to 5.99 at Publix, compared to 4.35 at whole foods. this place is a rip off, full of expired (or getting ready to expire) food. read more

Now I'm only giving one star due to the incident that occurred last night on the evening of the 7th of December 2023. I ordered from the deli counter and I must have surprised the member because they were just biting into some food WHILE WORKING ON THE LINE! I placed my order and the entire time the member didn't utter a single word because their mouth was so full of food and they were trying to chew it all. First as someone who has worked in the restaurant industry this is a major health code violation. Second, damn! If I ever see this member again I will definitely pass on ordering! Ordered a chicken sandwich online and they put lettuce instead of spinach on my sub . Seems like every time I go to this store there is something wrong with this deli. They can't get a simple order correct & at times when I go in have to wait 30- 45 minutes for fried chicken because they do stock enough in their case during lunch time when people are getting out of church on Sunday .When I worked for Publix I never ran out of chicken in my case and I worked proudly for them for 20 years. This has been my go to supermarket for fresh fish, cat food, soup, plants, flowers, and mojo pork. They use to have the best pizza with avocado and bacon but they discontinued those pizzas. The staff is friendly and helpful here. They always wrapped my soups in Saran Wrap and put them in individual paper bags for me. I usually special request this service though. Recently, they checked my eggs to make sure they were intact and not broken. This only happened only once in my life a long time ago. I was told it was customary to check eggs before scanning them. Not many sales clerks do though. read more

So disappointed about my sons birthday cake I ordered from here. After hearing great reviews on cakes here I decided to order my little ones birthday cake and it was the worst mistake ever. The first picture was what my little ones birthday cake was supposed to look like (even printed them a picture like they asked, they assured me they could do it). The second picture is what the cake I walked out with looked like... terrible, this picture was after I had them at least "fix" the road lines to look like a 3. The only reason i left with that cake was because i had party guests already waiting for us. I payed $43.00 for this thing. So mad at myself for not baking my own cake because any non baker could have done a better job than this. I will not be recommending this place to anyone. read more

I love shopping here very clean with friendly employees. Parking can be a struggle but hey its Clarksvegas its crowded in this area. Yes it's more expensive than Kroger or Walmart. But I don't mind when we get such good customer service. At least people act like they care about you here. The Deli is bomb and even when super busy the workers always have a smile on their face and are quick to greet you. Fruits and Veggies are fresh and the meats are as well. I recommend you only stick to food items here. The shampoo, personal hygiene and pharmacy items I'll just make a quick stop after work to the Commissary on post (for those who can't shop there you can actually order pantry items like that from Amazon now. I get mine within 2 days from Prime and the prices are less than what you will pay at Publix. I've also tried ordering via Instacart and for those of us with crazy work schedules I can't tell you how great that service can be! Totally frees up 1-2 hours you don't have to spend grocery shopping. Publix thank you for the Excellent Hospitality and customer service. Even tho youre currently the most expensive place to shop at in town, I still choose you. Maybe someone needs to take pity on this old girl and show me how to coupon. I need it! read more

Publix is naturally more expensive than other places like Kroger. Most of the time, I stop in here when I need something quickly and don't want to drive across town. The staff have always been super friendly. I've often had conversations with the checkers that have lasted longer than most should have after getting my receipts... But totally great! However, the Publix brand items do tend do be slightly cheaper than the Kroger brands. You can snag some frozen pizzas 2/$7 or 2/$10. The house brand ice cream is usually 2/$10 but has almost always been on sale for 2/$6. They even have Moose Tracks! The canned veggies can sometimes be up to 10 cents cheaper than the Kroger brand. They always have decent flowers that are 3 bunches for $12. While it's not budget friendly to shop for everything here, there are a few things I know I can grab when I'm running low on budget or need to snag a pizza for when the sitter comes. It helps that it's right next door, too! read more

Quick stop for a few items I needed for dinner and for baby. I love how they have a deli and hot food section to easily grab a meal that is ready to eat. Grab and go salads and other meals make packing lunches for work days so convenient. Some might seem pricey, but it's still healthier or tasty enough and less expensive than eating out every day! The organic fruit is usually fully stocked. And, the baby food pouches that I usually buy were on sale 10 for $10 - which is great. They just had few selections left. The chips were on sale also. They seem to always have some kind of sale on them, so we grabbed some for a party this weekend. The fruit bowls or trays were too pricey since I can go to the local wholesale club & save on those things. The salad packs we like were no longer in stock. The ones available were full price and too much for such a small salad. Maybe next time. However, if you need a quick meal, definitely make Publix one of your stops. YES!!! This place is the bomb! Best Staff ever! I lost $20 to my wife on a bet: "I can make it in and out, without anyone saying a word to me". If you haven't tried their soup, (homemade with real ingredients) DONT! you will be a junkie like me. I cant get enough of it. Oh, and their sandwiches, amazing...request sub-sauce. I come from Texas and Texas is an HEB grocery store state. Now, HEB is wonderful and I miss it every time I go to the store. But this Publix is pretty awesome. They have a large variety of stuff, and can even speical order something for you. Aisles are clean, it's bright, and always smiling employees willing to help. I wish they had more organic/natural stuff but they have a decent amount. I think their prices are pretty high, but I think that is just because we are in Tennessee. Man the people here are helpful. If you are a social shut-in this place will have your anxiety through the roof. If you are doing anything less then charging for something in the produce section, expect someone to ask if you need help. I'm a wonderer when I shop and it can get to the point of annoying, but they sure are there when you need them. When I requested help they did their best to find what I needed, but didn't have it in the store. They do carry Kerrygold grass fed butter. read more

This morning when I went to Publix at 7am, the cashier was inappropriately rude to me and my husband. We are always friendly with them and long time customers and I had only gotten two things of toilet paper because we had none in the house. She acted as if I had gotten 10. I did not appreciate the rudeness at all. All of the employees this morning just had an attitude for some reason. We are in the middle of a crisis; you all voluntarily put in the job applications to work there. If you are going to treat us like that, don't work there. Their self checkout machines are sooo unreliable and frustrating that they stuck the life out of "Where shopping is a pleasure " take lessons from Walmart self checkout machines. Publix is approx. 3 minutes from my house which makes it convenient, but I'd rather go somewhere else because of the prices. They are not too high but they are my low enough either. The employees are approachable. I cannot remember her name but this one lady was so nice and put up with up when we kept asking her questions. Great customer service most of the time. read more

This review is for the bakery department. Today I threw a gender reveal party for a friend of mine. I ordered a cake from them. I gave them the sealed envelope with the baby's gender and asked that the frosting in the middle be colored blue or pink, based on gender. Well they cut it open and it was pink! So exciting.... until we looked at the ultrasound and paper from the doctor, which clearly said BOY not girl.... Not really sure how that happened and how they managed to mix that up. Hopefully we can get a refund but the surprise and pictures/experience was totally ruined. read more

People say they're more expensive but realistically who can compete with Walmart? For the most part my bill comes out to the same or cheaper than anywhere else. They have tons of buy one get one free deals. You just have to know how to shop. Going to Walmart is enough to make me need a xanax prescription. read more

Publix in Clarksville, TN is great! I called from Africa, yes Africa, and ordered some flowers for my wife to pick up for our 15 year anniversary and she was more than pleased. I expressed to the lady that I was a Soldier in Africa and I was missing my 15 year wedding anniversary and I told her how much I wanted to pay. Lets just say my wife and I were very impressed and the customer service there is awesome. We are fans for life and please do not ever change. read more

Love this place. I normally go to Kroger because it's so close, but I go here before 8:00 AM or if Kroger doesn't have something I want. Employees are very polite even if you show up as soon as the store opens (unlike Kroger). Selection is probably the best in Clarksville and the store atmosphere and employee attitude is excellent. This is what a grocery store should be. No complaints whatsoever. read more
