I was very dissatisfied with my service today. I ordered online to pickup in the deli a hot lunch. I paid for it and it was not ready. When I went up to the counter, the lady had no idea about my order. They apparently forgot it. The manager had to go back in the back and make it herself. They are disorganized. When it comes to lunch time in that area, it is at a very limited time to pick up and go. I will never be back to this publix. Done. Service is really not what it should of been. I only had a short period of time to eat and didn't have time to eat all of it. read more

Just left this publix which I go to only bc my 90 year old mother won't go anywhere else. Their customer service is terrible. Brandi, never smiled or spoke to me when I asked her to please open another line bc the lines were long and my 90-year old mother was running out of oxygen . Only 2 lines were open and they have no self service lines. Publix charges enough that I should not have to wait in a line that goes into the food aisle. I asked her if she could ring me up there (she was a.customer service , with no customers.) or open a new line. This obviously made her very angry , but she told me she would ring me up in the express line. Of course 2 men got behind me in line with only a couple items and were very angry. I get it. One man thought I was trying to get my mom to cut in front of him and I was not. I was telling her to go to the other line (the whole point is both get checked out quickly) . The man barked "no!" I said "what?" and he said "she is not cutting in line" I told him that was not what I was telling her to do (obviously I wouldn't do that he was mad enough ) . Meanwhile, I had been apologizing profusely to the men in the line and to Brandi. She never spoke even though I continuously apologized. I admitted it was totally our fault for not watching the oxygen. I'm sure they were all thinking we should leave as groceries aren't an emergency. I got out of line while being rung up to plead with my mom to leave and let me come back and get her groceries. But she gets more stubborn everyday and was gonna run out of oxygen before she left those groceries . At this point I am clearly upset extremely apologetic and pretty much out of options . Brandi never spoke to me, despite me speaking to her, or smiled or looked at me . Publix, at least put your friendly (there were a few employees who were very nice) caring and helpful employees in customers service. And ask them to open a new lane when there are people waiting into the food aisles with only 2 lines open. The fact is the lines were too long and she should've rung me up there or opened another line instead of having customers behind me fuming. And yes, the two men behind me had a right to be irritated. But I really hope I would not act that way if I were in their shoes . I didnt tell her to put me in express line. I believe I would've sucked it up and waited. Just because it was another human being I hope neither Brandi nor the customers are ever on oxygen or caring for someone on oxygen , because they might run into people like them. Bottom line , very poor customer service. Go to one of the 2 nearby Krogers or to Fresh market . read more

A shout out to Mike, the manager at the Publix in Dunwoody Hall. Yesterday, he went above and beyond to take care of me and correct a situation I encountered with an employee. Mike truly listened and genuinely wanted to make things right. I appreciate the level of customer service he provided. It is obvious he takes pride in his store and cares about customer service and our community. While this Publix is not the closest grocery to my house, I will definitely be back! read more

I am a frequent shopper at this location and use to just going in and out. But recently my experience has been elevated. Cashier "Q" and the grocery bagger made it more memorable by making sure I had everything I needed. I wasn't just the routine "how are you?". They truly cared that I had the best experience here. I like this publix. Its very easy to get in and out of plus there's always plenty of parking. Its located in a strip mall with other restaurants and stores so sometimes I'll grab lunch before I do my shopping. Definitely recommend this publix. read more

I stopped in to grab a quick dessert to take to may sisters house for the FSU game. Spotted a yummy looking cookie cake and asked the young lady behind the counter to write 'GO Noles!' for me. 10 minutes later she was finished.. Needless to say I was disappointed. (see photo). This is a totally solid supermarket with everything that you'd expect them to have. I was especially impressed with the organic meat selection. It was pretty darn big. They also had a bagger at every check-out register, which was nice. Normally when I go to supermarkets they don't have baggers at every register. I tend to like bagging myself, but it's nice that they're fully staffed. This is definitely a good choice for a go-to supermarket. read more

If all Publix were like this one, I'd enjoy paying the higher prices rather than shopping the competition. This public is clean, lacks the 1950 terrazzo floors commonly found in their stores (will they ever run out of what they must have purchased zillions of in 1959). Very disorganized with on sale items. We were looking for pork loin and it says "$1.50 off" which makes is $2.99 a pound, but we couldn't find any package with $2.99 per unit. We asked the stuff and he told us there are more in the front, we went and there wasn't even a sign in the refrigerator at the front. Very disappointed and went to the back again and saw the original sign was removed! The same stuff passed by us and pretended nothing happened! This is not the first time we experienced this at this location. So many people helping you at check out... why can't you have some of them checking and organizing items??? read more

Came here to do some shopping for a banana bread recipe and other groceries on a Tuesday afternoon around 6. Traffic getting here and away from here was horrendous. Anyways, the store was very nice and clean. It was not crowded and everything was labeled very well. I love the bogo deals here at Publix and the Dutch Apple Pie (warmed up) with vanilla bean ice cream when eaten together is to die for. My roommate and I got most of the things we needed, and we were able to check out in a very timely manner. Our cashier was very kind and we had a pleasant experience. We will definitely be back again for our grocery needs but probably not during rush hour. read more

The store is well organized, always super clean and rarely out of anything. The meat and produce selections are excellent - this is one of the most robust stores in the city. I also love the customer service here - the staff is the friendliest and most thoughtful. If you cannot find something, instead of just directing you, they will walk you to the item to make sure you find what you are looking for. And if they are out - they will go looking in the back for something. Amazing. Also, this store has ample parking, speedy folks in the deli department making sandwiches (this is important) and a huge customer service counter. So whenever I am in the area, I make sure I go to this store for my grocery needs. read more

This is the place I go for my $5 footlongs on the way to school; you get about 3 times the meat you would at the subway across the streek. My only problem is the service. I've waited like 15 minutes just to get my sandwich order taken. They've got two ladies working back there and neither one seem to have any customer service skills or a sense of urgency. The lady making the sandwiches is the worst, with her blank stare and her bad attitude. She's supposed to be serving food, not serving attitude, sheeit. It's "hi, how may I help you?", not "what you gon have?". I don't like feeling like I'm inconveniencing somone by making them actually have to do what they are being paid for. And last time I went they were out of ONIONS??? how are you out of onions? This is a Publix! She's lucky she's behind that counter because I would not hesitate to snatch that wig off of her head, hold it up up in the air, and tell her to jump for it! read more

The customer service at Publix is legendary, and these folks at this location are ON it! While this isn't the prettiest Publix I've been in, they sure have pretty customer service skills. I had some business to take care of at the customer service station. There was only one person working, and what I was doing was going to take a minute. Shay was professional, friendly, detailed, and got the job done- and managed to work in a few other small customer requests, pull a payroll check for a co-worker, and verify an answer to a question for me with Miss Sandy (I think that was her name). Miss Sandy came right over, and was just as friendly and professional as Shay. Mind you, this could have easily not been a good experience. There was a short line when I approached, I was in a rush on my lunch hour, I had several tedious things to take care of at the booth- Shay could've acted like I was bothering her. Instead, her attitude made ALL of that go away, and I left SMILING and laughing! Bonus: everything (all of my transactions) was done CORRECTLY. No issues or problems. that's what i'm talking about- 5 Star Customer Service done the right way! read more

First and for most, I Like Publix way better than Kroger. The end. Staff is always nice and friendly and they always have several registers open so big lines don't happen. Love that fact hat we can ore order deli and pick it up instead waiting around. Wine selection is great, but the their beer selection leaves something to be desired. Their veggies and fish are always fresh! Good deals too, i always stock up on the buy one get one free kitty litter and meow mix for my wife's cat. It's not my cat. He's ok for a cat but still, my dogs wayyy better and therefore I don't mind paying full price for his treats. Shop here, they have a great equal opportunity employee program. I like that a lot. Versus the nearby store on Hammond Drive, this one feels like it's on a different planet. The employees at this store bombarded me with morning smiles and greetings about 15 minutes from opening. Admittedly, I was a little crabby when I first came in, but the employees cheered me right up. Selection is the typical Publix (and times fifty compared to the paraplegic Hammond Drive store) and produce is excellent. read more

All in all, this Publix is great. My wife and I shop at Publix and Whole Foods and we get everything we need at these two places. The produce is typically fresh, a lot of choices and clean. I don't have any complaints, but we have not tried most of the meats or seafood. Prices are good, quantity and options are good as well. read more

The customer service here is just one of the best I've experienced anywhere. They've always been nice but this last visit blew me away. The boyfriend, a friend, and I had just gotten out of the movies and we arrived at this Publix about 10 minutes before closing time. We tried to be quick about it and got to the checkout with about 6 minutes to spare. First, the person in front of us - an employee - insisted that we go ahead of her, we declined, but again she insisted and was so sweet about it. The cashier and the front service clerk were so friendly and upbeat. Not only were they very courteous but they conversated with us happily. The staff is always friendly here, this is my main go to supermarket because it's on the way home. Publix always does a great job with selection. The people behind the deli counter are very service-oriented and very nice. Vegetable section is always maintained nicely and everything is very fresh.
