The first time I saw this and pointed it out to the acting manager, she dismissed it like it was no big deal because it was in a clear container so customers can see the contents. Since I was dismissed when I brought this up three weeks ago, I have not mentioned it again. I won't. She dismissed my serious concern as it, nor I, matter. There isn't any point in bringing it up again. My hope is the next time I go in, that the meals will be properly labeled. However she told a police officer on site that I was not paying for my items. When I showed the police the receipt, there was no apology from the police or anyone from publix. I don't usually listen to other customer's complaints about racial profiling. I don't understand why management decided to have employees restock shelves during late morning on Saturday, but that's what happened today while I was shopping. Yes, I understand that it's currently difficult to find/hire employees, and having them do things while they're at work is important, but making an obstacle course of pallets that employees are moving while customers pushing full size shopping carts are trying to avoid running into the pallets is not fun. Obviously, this means that pallets were blocking part of the aisles, all this while Saturday morning shoppers were trying to do their things. Some of the produce wasn't fresh, like the soft cucumbers that were on sale, and many of the sweet onions were rejects since they had soft spots. All of the self service checkouts were open, but the lines at them were moving slow. I opted to go through one of the two regular checkout lines, and the cashier was very quick at getting customers through. Overall, this Kroger is OK.

They prefer smaller carts. The ones who prefer small carts are going down the street to Publix. Publix always, always has small carts available. This store is losing good business to Publix on Spalding, just a few miles away. As usual, there are hardly any live cashiers. When you go to close out and pay, you, the customer will be doing the work. You won't be receiving help from a cashier as there are few workers in this store. This store is severely shorthanded. They need to hire more people like their existing personnel. They have great people, but not enough of them. When they are available, they are happy to help you. Because the elderly and wealthy don't want to check themselves out, this store is losing good business to Publix on Spalding, a couple of miles away.
