The store itself is a friendly store that people in the coworkers are all pretty nice fairly clean overall it would be probably in the lower level of being clean compared to other stores but overall the store is easy to maneuver and navigate they have lots of good samples, I will continue to come back here read more

Costco is really a one stop shop, from jewelry, bedding, dishes, furniture, dirt for your garden, candles, food, cleaning supplies, vitamins, and anything else you could possibly think off. Members-only warehouse selling a huge variety of items including bulk groceries, electronics and more. Lots of parking spaces. It is located in a busy shopping area that attracts lots of footfalls. All ideal conditions if you live nearby. I found more clothes and bakery items. he dairy section also has more space and more to offer. Great area and nice place to shop all household things. As always, long lines during peak times and there is a person checking all bills which makes it more slow to exit. People are always helpful and the food is good. This Costco at perimeter also has the liquor center which makes it really convenient. It's close to GA 400 as well so you can make a quick pit stop if the need arises. If you don't have a membership already, get one -- and I HIGHLY recommend the Executive Membership -- it really doesn't take long to get that 2% back to at least cover your next year's membership. This was my first time coming to Costco in about 10 years. The Dunwoody Costco is closest to me, and I just got a membership because I wanted to buy something that was online only, and I had to get the membership in order to buy the item. Anyway, I'm now a member, so I thought I might as well see what Costco was all about these days and get- if anything- a rotisserie chicken because they are awesome. I came about 30 minutes before closing, and it was really busy, but they close at 6PM (super early IMO, but glad the workers can get some time to enjoy their weekend), and they were HUSTLING to get people out of there. My first observation was that they really like rules here and the staff love to enforce rules. You don't have a Costco card? You WILL NOT get in. They are serious about checking membership cards, and the lady who had me pretty much trapped so I couldn't run into the store as I fumbled to find my membership # via email, hollered at several people to get out because they didn't have a membership card. "You can't get in without a membership!" Thankfully I found it and she accepted it, because otherwise she was going to make me go back out in the cold and go somewhere different for the physical card. Okay, so now I am in, and it's great. There are tons of things to look at, lots of stuff that I could potentially use, and just basic stuff that is handy to have that you don't even realize you need. Like earbuds, body lotion, and russet potatoes. I didn't have a cart and it was close to closing time, so I just wandered around and picked up my chicken. I went to check out and there was a really long line of people with carts packed with items. I wandered up to the front and asked a worker if there was an express lane (I realize now this was ridiculous, but I'm used to getting groceries at an express line since I usually don't have much), and the man yelled at me that there was no express line and that I was in the self-check-out line. He yelled this very loud, and I feel like he was trying to embarrass me to punish me for asking such a ridiculous question and beating down my entitled arse. Fair. I slunk back to the end of the line with my chicken and waited sheepishly and obediently for my turn. When I get to a register, it was one with a cashier. This lady in front of me was insisting that she had a digital gift card and we were all waiting for her forever as she scrolled through her email. Finally she gave up (I seriously was thinking she was purposely causing drama, like she wanted someone to yell at her), and then apologized to me and the cashier and everyone for holding up the line. In deafening silence as no one said anything to her, she also slunk away after her cc she finally agreed to use was processed in 1 second and faster than that she was given a receipt and NEXT. Next is me, and I'm nervous because this is a rule place and I don't have a card, just a membership number in an email. I don't know if they are going to make me get a membership card before I can get the chicken. I'm actually very nervous about this. Fortunately, I was able to use my membership number. They did need to put it in manually, and a manager had to come with a key, and of course it was a whole thing, but now I know and when it's not minus 10 degrees outside I'll go to wherever that area is and get my physical card. Now, after all this, I get home, and sadly, the chicken is pretty raw. I thought the breast meat had an odd texture, and when I pulled it apart it was clearly not fully cooked. Bummer. After tearing it to pieces I put it in the oven and baked it, but it still had this slippery texture and didn't taste like anything. It was strange, but very apropos given the entire experience. I will try the chicken again when it isn't so close to closing time-- I think they were just in a rush to get the rest of chickens out the door as there was a new batch that had just come out of the oven at 5:50PM. read more

I'd argue that this is the best Costco in Metro ATL. I've been to damn near all of them and this Costco has, by far, the greatest and largest variety in their inventory. I've been on the hunt for bulk, plain dark chocolate bits around Costcos in the perimeter. This Costco happened to have it, HALLELUJAH! Along with great customer service and the ample amount of samples, this location is worth the drive for me. They are also the only Costco in the area to have a separate liquor/spirits store. I'm only reducing a star because the parking situation can get hellish depending on the day and time... they share a lot with Home Depot and the entrance/exit to the lot can be freaking chaotic. The checkout lines can get pretty gnarly too because their snack section is larger and pushes into the checkout area. But it's a worthy trade-off and it ain't stopping me from driving 20+ minutes to shop here. read more

I would give it a -5 on this scale. Absolutely the worst people managing the sales and service of hearing aids. I am always greeted with "do you have an appointment?" by an angry looking, hostile and gruff employee. I usually say no because all I needed were domes and filters. I was told I really need an appointment and should fill out a form along with showing my card. This has happens every time I go to the Perimeter Center, Costco. In fact, while Costco usually offers to clean them while you're at the store this Costco does not. Although I live near the store, I have to go to Costco elsewhere to have hearing aid serviced. The last time I tried to have my hearing aid serviced at the perimeter center, they told me I needed to do a better job of cleaning my hearing aid. When I took the hearing aid to the Costco at Wynwood Parkway, they looked at it and found that the hearing aid was defective and replaced them. The Winward Pkwy Costco is an excellent Costco and certainly worth the trip. This is the worst Costco I've ever been to. All the others I would rate as five. I see also that this Costco has other negative reviews related to the customer service area of the hearing department. This has been my experience for the last couple of years at this Costco. I was reluctant to say anything about it because I thought well they're really a great store and the other Costco's were always able to deal with any problems I had in a friendly and caring manner . I hope Costco management personnel take notice. They definitely need to address this. read more

Costco is a one stop shop for all your home and grocery needs. The Sandy Springs location is always neat, cleaned and stocked with the latest products. It is especially exhilarating to visit during the holiday season. They have a lot of trees and decor on display along with a variety of delectable snacks. The food bar was recently renovated. The prices are excellent, and they serve pizza, hot dogs, salads and sundaes. The highest priced menu item is around $7 (grilled chicken salad). The ordering process is done at a kiosk which minimizes waiting in line. I had the hot dog and pizza slice, and both were tasty. The lines to check out can get a little busy which may result in a wait, but they offer lots of samples to snack on while you are waiting to check out. read more

Costco optical experience 05/06/25: This review is based solely only the optical department: I went in about 6:55-7:00pm last night 05/06/25 the associate by the name of 'Flo' was helping another customer. After I had been standing at the counter for about 1-2 min.. I politely intervened and asked for help when she had a moment. she looked at me like I did/said something wrong. With reluctance/aggravation she grabbed the glasses I asked to try on, sat them on the counter and proceeded to go back to the other lady. Didn't say a word. I waited another 6 min for her to be done or just acknowledge me... nothing. Another store associate comes to the optical dept. I asked if she could help me grab a different pair to try.. she directs me back to Flo & even says to her "this customer needs your assistance when you have a chance." She literally looked at me again didn't say A WORD turns back to the lady she was helping and never acknowledged me. I have never felt so disrespected, ignored or dismissed everrr. I tried not to take it personal. But I couldn't help but write this. I eventually ended up leaving the store after 17 min in total of not receiving help. I am totally blown away.. it was very obvious she did not want to help me. Needless to say, I will not be shopping at this location again. I bought my previous pair of glasses from here & the lady who helped me (I believe she was from NYC) was so polite and helpful. But this experience completely turned me off and I will not be back. Honestly, a "I'll be right with you, take a look around, it will be a moment I'm with another customer"...some type of acknowledgement! But 17 min of your back to me.. was a slap!!! The cashier charged me $1,120 for a $100 steak. I wanted my refund back on the card/checking account they charged me from but a manager said they couldn't do that and could only give me cash. I have bill payments that are automatically drafted from this account and cannot afford to have some incompetent employee charging me over $1,000 "accidentally". I don't care what the problem or mistake is, now I have to call EVERY utility company and plead with them to please wait until I can deposit the cash refund and for the funds to clear before charging my bills. So because of the dumb "mistake" your rookie made I now have to go all the way to the bank first thing in the morning (waste of time) and also contact all the utility companies planning on drafting from this account (Also a waste of time). Your employee is going to cause me to have to waste my precious time during a WEEKDAY because she doesn't know the difference between 100 & 1,000. Absolutely unacceptable. read more

I am thoroughly convinced that if you want good quality gas in the states, get it from Costco. Prices are usually 10-20 cents cheaper locally on average. This location has easy access in and out of gas station. At times there are long lines but generally the wait is no more than 3 to 6 minutes on average. There is an attendant on deck that manages the traffic if necessary for confusion. The bottom line is you get what you pay for as a member. It straight forward. The thing to be aware is that Costco does not sell diesel gas it's either premium or regular unleaded. The other tip I want to share is that you don't need to be a member to shop in the liquor department. So before or after you gas up, head over to see what deals you can find in the package section. So yesterday i went to Costco to get two new tires. Waited TWO HOURS only to be told that they just realized they don't have the tires in my cars size. They promised that the tires would be in that afternoon. I came back today, waited for 20 minutes just to talk to someone to be told that my tires still haven't come in. Demanded a full refund and went to Discount Tires, where I already feel better taken care of. This review update is for Costco Logistics (appliance delivery department). My Costco review was 5 stars. This department has a negative star so I'm averaging the two. I've bought two large appliances from Costco with no problems. Well, that was before Costco acquired Innovel Solutions for $1 billion cash in March 2020. "Costco Logistics Delivery" has been downhill ever since. I ordered my new dishwasher specifically from Costco because of their good customer service and 90 day return policy. I was given a 9am - 11am delivery window. I received one voicemail and two emails confirming the time and informing me to contact Costco if I needed to make changes. Jordan just dropped off my dishwasher (within the 2 hour window) and left. I told him I'd paid for 'white glove' installation and haul away of my old appliance. He said he was "just the delivery person" and the install guy would be "an hour or so" behind him.   I immediately called Costco and thank God I did because that was a lie. The Costco rep Lisa tried to give me Innovel's number but I insisted on her calling for me. They told her they don't have anyone qualified to install dishwashers. They'll give me a call between 1pm and 5pm today to discuss my installation appointment. WTH??? So I'm supposed to wait an entire day for a phone call regarding installation when I've already taken off work for this appointment?! The supervisor Brittany was even worse. She said that "dishwashers are different" and repeated over and over that "it says on the website that installation could happen at a later time." To be fair, it says in extremely fine, light gray print "Installation may require a later appointment." That's vague and could mean later that day. And why wasn't that indicated in the emails? And why did the delivery guy lie and say the install guy was right behind him? Brittany had zero empathy. As if this was normal business practice and my first time ever ordering an first appliance. Not cool Costco, not cool. Three conversations later, I was able to get $100 off and the dishwasher will be installed tomorrow between 8 and 5. That's a huge window but what can you do? Meanwhile I'm handwashing my dishes and looking at my brand new dishwasher in a box. It's an easy fix, just send a delivery person who can also install the dishwasher like every other company. This is not why I pay for a Costco membership. Next time, I might spend more on my appliance at a different retailer, just to save me the headache.  I cannot recommend Costco appliance delivery. *Update, the dishwasher was not installed the next day. First I was told the installer had COVID and then that he came by and I wasn't home. All lies, never again! read more

An ode to Costco: Costco is my favorite weekend outing. Sadly, Costco samples are another casualty of Covid. They used to have really good samples, but alas, no more. They still have the best deals--eggs, Sukhi (Indian meals that you just need to heat up), quinoa, chocolate covered almonds, York mints, vacuums, pillows, professional-looking leggings, jackets, books, etc. You can find literally everything you need and everything you don't need. You can walk in with a list of what you need, and come out having spent hundreds of dollars on random stuff that you didn't know you needed, but now you ask yourself how you ever lived without it. Costco is also really great about returns. I had purchased some pillows that ended up being weird, and even though I washed them twice, they still took them back. Costco is my favorite place. Got all 4 of my tires replaced from here. The price is great plus they waive the installation fee which is always nice. What's not so nice is the service of some of the technicians. The 2 times I called, they were very passive aggressive and rude. In their defense, this costco is one of the busiest ones in town, but that shouldnt be an excuse for poor customer service. They finished my tires in a timely manner and it was an easy wait since I just shopped around while waiting. Overall, price is unbeatable, but if customer service is important to you, this tire center has a lot of room for improvement. read more

This is the original Costco in the Atlanta metro area. I am continually pleased by the varied selection of produce, meats, housewares, and electronics that this Costco offers. We also recently discovered the optometrist and optics section. It also has a liquor store, which makes it unique in the Atlanta metro area. The organization of the store is no-nonsense, and the checkout staff do their jobs very well. Since the pandemic began, there are much less samples and less options in the prepared food area (just hot dogs, chicken wraps, smoothies, and pizza). This particular Costco is great because this is the only location I know that sells hard liquor! The liquor store is right next to the main entrance. Great prices for it too. It has a lot of selection and many of the same staples as other Costcos in the area. The lines move smoothly here so I tend to like shopping at this location. read more

Always come here to shop but first time since I was a kid that we stopped and got food from the food court. It was very cheap for an entire pepperoni pizza and a strawberry sundae. If you are in the mood for a quick, inexpensive lunch, you may want to try their hot dog soft drink combination for $1.50. They also offer slices of pizza for $1.99. I always try and time my gas purchases around Costco locations. They have lots of pumps, and their gas is typically $0.10 to $0.20 below most gas station prices. read more

Not sure if anyone could ever give a bad rating of Costco. This particular location has a liquor store which alone almost earned them five stars but there were some serious issues. It's obviously a very busy store but they were out of items such as potatoes on A Saturday at 3 pm in the afternoon. Then additionally they had three aisles blocked off and were restocking. I could understand if they were doing one but it was multiple. The management really should strategize so this is not happening at a time when it is packed! It cost them a sale of an item! Otherwise service was good as usual but not sure what I was thinking walking into a Costco on a Saturday at 3. I like my Smyrna location better. It seems more organized. read more

I am a fan of Costco. I've been a member for more than 10 years. They run a great business. The staff are all very helpful and efficient at moving huge crowds through the store and out the door with their purchases. The prices are great and they have a liberal return policy. I also use their Optometrist every year or so and have been very happy. Buy a Food Saver One of my pet peeves has always been that I worry that fresh food gets wasted because they sell in bulk and we don't always eat it fast enough. However, a year or so ago I purchased a Food Saver which has changed my experience. Now, when I purchase fish or meat I will vacuum seal and freeze the portion that I don't need right away. Nothing is wasted. And the frozen meats taste just as good when they are finally cooked because the vacuum sealed pouch keeps them just right. Favorite Items Here are my favorite items as they are high quality and priced right: Cooked chicken, Costco brand OJ, Costco milk and eggs, Costco pizza, Costco Mac and Cheese, Kirkland dog food (highly rated by dog food advisor dot com), Kirkland dog treats and Kirkland maple syrup. And, of course Costco gasoline! Costco Tire Shop Today I had four tires put on to my wife's car. It's the first time I used Costco for tires and I did it based on Clark Howard's recommendation. The selection was somewhat limited because I needed run flats, but I was able to find a good option which was on sale. I purchased four Bridgestone Potenza RE960. The price was almost $200 less than Tire Rack including installation and even better compared to a local tire store. They also include nitrogen for free. The down side was the wait. It took over a week and a half from the day I ordered my tires until the day they had an opening to install (a week from when the tires arrived on site). Also, Costco does not do alignments. So I will have to go somewhere else to get that done. At another shop, I might have negotiated the alignment price down based on a tire purchase. And, I probably would have had it all done the same day I ordered the tires. So, while Costco has great tire pricing, it may not make up for the inconvenience of having to go to two places and the wait. I am guessing the same will be true of the "free" rotation and balance down the road. One other issue is the fact that they returned my car to me with dirty wheels. Customers do not want to always hear what your policies and procedures are during their shopping experience. If your reps are going to reiterate policies at check out, Jean needs to make sure that she thoroughly understands what your policies are. Jean was absolutely the worse associate ever. I first started shopping at this Costco, Costco Perimeter (opened 1996), before Costco Cumberland (2006) and Costco Brookhaven (2010). Most of my visits have been on the weekends where, just like every other Costco store I've been to, it is absolutely packed with people. The sheer volume of customers can sometimes make the shopping experience an unpleasant one. Other than that, it's great. I like to go to Costco to stock up on frozen foods, snacks, drinks, toiletries, vitamins, cleaning supplies, miscellaneous household items, and the occasional electronic device. I purchased an Apple iPod Touch at this store for a price better than what I could find online. My favorite frozen food items to get at Costco are the bags of Kirkland Signature Atlantic Salmon. I like how the salmon fillets are individually vacuum-wrapped. They are healthy, easy to prepare, and a significantly better deal than comparable frozen salmon fillets from Kroger or Publix. Costco also carries salmon that has already been seasoned and/or marinated, though these can be rather salty. I've tried Kirkland Signature's other frozen fish such as Mahi Mahi and Tilapia and they do not taste as good as the Atlantic Salmon. Frozen pizza and frozen chicken wings are examples of other frozen foods I've repeatedly purchased here. In the refrigerated section, I like FAGE Greek yogurt, Stoneyfield organic yogurt, and drinks such as Naked Juice. I enjoy ZICO coconut water, which can be purchased at a good deal near the refrigerated foods section. I'm a big fan of Kirkland Signature Fruit & Nut and Nut & Seed bars. They're quick, relatively healthy snacks, perfect for on-the-go. The bags of dried fruit are good for snacking on too. I don't normally buy fruits and vegetables from Costco, though if I do, giant bunches of bananas and large boxes of salad are typically what I go for. The bulk quantities of produce usually go bad before I'm able to consume them. Kirkland Signature trash bags (with drawstrings) are terrific. They are sturdy, durable, and are sold at a terrific value. Massive quantities of disposable dinnerware and cutlery are available, which are great for cookouts and parties. The quality of the cutlery isn't cheap. The plastic is quite strong. At checkout, American Express is the only credit card accepted. The parking lot is busy. It doesn't help that Home Depot is next door. All in all, this is another solid Costco. read more

The product contained many live worms at the time the cannister was opened and post-serving the product to several individuals. Following consumption and once worms were observed, the served portions were discarded and the remainder of the cannister was returned to Costco on 9/17/23 with a report filed (incl. details of resulting illness) and photos taken.
