On 06/21/2026 I went and cashed a $300 check and I asked for one big bill back and the rest small. I tried using my big bill the $100 and it got rejected turns out Publix gave me counterfeit money which is ridiculous bc a big corporation shouldn't have that problem especially when they handle money daily. I called and asked what they could do and all they said was there wasn't much they could do bc I couldn't prove it was from there which is ridiculous, absolutely ridiculous. read more

So I feel slightly conflicted about this location. When first approaching the store, it feels inviting. The staff are friendly and helpful, but I visit other locations so I feel like this location could definitely improve based on what you expect from Publix. Maybe I just happen to keep catching them on bad days or something or the time of the day I showed up during infrequent visits, but they seem to be out of stock for several items. Even their crushed ice in the soda dispenser near the deli section has been out of stock a few times. I am unsure what could be causing these issues. I will say the location could be the reason because the area is slightly sketchy, but not horrible. The layout inside of this Publix is just not to my liking or at least would take some time to get used to. read more

I do Instarcart evey now and then and this is the first time that I did a shop only and the bagger actually helped me out by counting the number of bags for me which is part of the process to label the bags. This was beyond me and she, to me, went above and beyond. Unfortunately, I don't remember her name but it was Shakira or Shameka....Great job and I just wanted to express that and give her the light she deserves!!!! read more

Please get the deli some help. There's an hour wait for pre ordered subs and lines back up to Virginia every single time. The amount of people behind the counter and the service doesn't make any sense. It's almost embarrassing because Publix doesn't have this kind of reputation. Seriously. This review is only for the Floral department. Just came from this location as I purchased a simple floral arrangement for Mother's Day for my wife. As I was putting the flowers in the vase I noticed this stem of flowers with most of the flower heads cut off. Shame on you guys to be so cheap to add this product into your arrangements while expecting to go unnoticed. Please take more pride in your products and service. This shameful. read more

I went to the deli to buy honey turkey, about 8 people behind the counter, including what appeared to be a deli manager, kept being told someone will be with you. After 5 minutes I asked if out of 8 people maybe someone can slice 1/2. Was told with a very unpleasant voice, go pound sand pretty much were too busy here to take care of customers. We put an order for catering for 15 people with 24 hours in advance, went to pick it up the paperwork for the order got mix up, all we got was a sorry manager saying sorry, the lady at the deli told my wife come in 2 hours mind you that we had to take the food to Atlanta for a lunch we was offering, they put us on a very bad situation. I usually pre order a sub at least once a week and I am only able to go early usually between 8-9 am which I know they open at 7 and probably getting things still stocked but last week I order the Italian sub that was on special and put a time for it to be ready at 8:50 and got there at 9 and it was still not ready with no one in line . After I got it home it actually tasted almost like the meat was bad and I threw it away.. I ended up wanting a hot honey sub this morning and again I know I ordered early and was worried maybe the wouldn't have tenders ready but when I went into pick it up at 8 am she told me they have no chicken tenders . The thing that upset me the most was I pre ordered it with my phone number at least give me a call and tell me you can't have it ready at this time or better yet make it to where you cannot order the tender subs till a certain time on the website instead of me wasting a trip for nothing. read more

This review is only for the deli department. I've gone in several times (during lunch) and they have been short on chicken wings. The usually pull some from the bags of cooked wings in the deli section. Yesterday June 5,2021 there was a black female working there. She went in the back to get the wings. The wings were actually cold when I attempted to eat them. I don't mean like room temperature. I mean cool to the touch. I was upset and in too much of a hurry to go back in. That was my first bad experience with the deli. They are usually helpful. read more

That being said the deli department at this particular store has been consistently disappointing. For the record, I cannot stand grocery shopping. The only shopping experience worse for me is getting stuck watching my girlfriend shop a clothing store. I've learned the fine rule of grocery shopping. Pick your location and learn where everything is. This is my location. The one where I don't feel like an extra on Walking Dead. Chorizo? Check. Refrigerated endcap that has the queso I really like. Hawaiian bread Frankfurter buns? Kiosk close to the Everything Pretzel chips I absolutely love. Checkout teller who always mentions she likes my Yankees cap like she's saying it for the first time? Check. Thank you local Publix. This store has a good selection of fresh vegetables. I bought petite potatoes, roma tomatoes, butter and green leaf lettuce, pinapples, Granny Smith apples, grapes and a host of other fruits and vegetables seven days ago. The produce tasted very good and the remaining produce is still sitting fresh in my refrigerator. read more

Staff need to learn their own coupon rules. Completely messed up my transactions. I did order food from here. Realized It was uncooked when I got home. I called back, spoke with the manager who informed me that this wasn't the first time with his staff. He issued me a refund and remade my item. 15 mins to and from the store but I can appreciate the manager handled things correctly. read more

This Publix is a great alternative for all the New Hope Road Residents who enjoy shopping at Publix. Before this location was built the nearest Publix for New Hope Residents to shop was located on Sugarloaf Parkway, nearly 30 minutes away! The shopping center also boasts an excellent ethnic hair care store, Pizza Hut, Subway, Nail Salon and so much more! The pharmacy service is also very quick (15 minutes or less for prescriptions) and the pharmacists are friendly and helpful! Because the area it is located in is quite rural, getting in and out quickly is easy! read more

Am I the only person who did not know about going to Publix to get a great sandwich. I have been to this Publix twice now and they have wonderful customer service. I got a Pastrami hoagie with this chipolte gouda cheese. They even grill the sandwiches for you for an additional charge. I don't as long as it is good. The sandwich was amazing and I will be back. I wont grocery shop there but I will get my sandwiches from there from now on. read more

i've been having to come here more often because the ingles closed so this has become my regular grocery store now aside from my kroger visits. the overall experience is nice but today i went and stopped my the deli counter because i wanted some wings. the problem is i got more drums than flats and i think it's because other customers come and get most of the flats so the employees only have the drums to give out now. out of 10 pieces more than half was drums because that was mostly left. i guess i just need to get there a lot earlier. sometimes the fish department smells a bit strong and it's not pleasant when i want to buy fish. but the ladies that work cutting up the fresh fruit are the best, they always have a kind word and very welcoming. read more
